Overall, a very satisfactory stay~

Location: Excellent. Both taking a taxi and the subway are very convenient. I recommend setting your GPS to Gate 3 of Jin Mao Tower, where hotel bellhops are stationed to assist with luggage; the other gates only have security guards who won't help with bags.

View: Unbeatable! Thanks to our butler, Kiki, for helping us upgrade to a river-view room. We could see the Oriental Pearl Tower, and my mom was thrilled~

Room: Not huge, but doesn't feel dated. High-quality toiletries, Dyson hairdryer, strong water pressure. The minibar is chargeable, but complimentary capsule coffee is provided, and they give you an absurdly generous amount of bottled water.

Lounge and Breakfast: The variety is upper-middle tier for a five-star hotel, but some standout items were exceptional—like the salmon, fresh pork mooncakes, overnight oats, and the bakery selection was quite good. The view from the executive lounge is so stunning that the overall experience was still fantastic~

Service: Very professional and thoughtful. The butler team responded promptly; Kiki and Moon were both wonderful~ The lounge staff were also great!

This is a stylish, high-quality hotel that I definitely recommend~

I booked a Bund-view room through the platform. I originally thought I'd only get a partial view, but the moment I opened the door, I was blown away by the scenery. The floor-to-ceiling windows look right out over the Huangpu River, offering breathtaking, panoramic views of both the Bund and Pudong skylines. The room was spacious, bright, well-laid-out, and featured comfortable bedding. Because my travel plans ended early, I arrived at the hotel around 12 PM on the day of check-in, and the staff graciously checked me in right away—such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’d love to bring my family here next time. My only minor regret was the breakfast; while there was plenty of variety, the food quality missed the mark. The selection of green salads was quite limited, and the hot dishes in particular were underwhelming. I hope to see some improvements by the time I stay again.

1. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, but the facilities are outdated. The showerhead in the bathroom was leaking; when I used the hand-held shower, cold water kept dripping from the overhead shower, which was very uncomfortable.
2. The hygiene was poor. Upon checking in, I surprisingly found a pile of insect carcasses in the bathtub and some unidentified hairs on the bed. After I reported it, the housekeeping staff promptly came to clean. For the rest of my stay, they paid special attention to cleaning the bathroom, and I didn't see any more insects.
3. The hotel breakfast was very disappointing, with almost no Asian food options. I had to fill up on bread. The variety of fruits was also limited.
4. The hotel is quite far from the commercial district, and there are no shopping or dining options nearby, which is inconvenient. The only upside is its proximity to the airport.

A truly wonderful stay. Facilities are.really top.class and the range of restaurants in the grand hyatt is excellent.
Staff interactions in all areas were pleasant and helpful.
Would definitely stay again

The location and views are hands down the best in downtown Jeju. Within a 5-minute walk, you have Lotte Duty Free, a CU convenience store, E-Mart, and Olive Young. Shilla Duty Free and Nuwemaru Street (Baojian Road) are just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself has a shopping mall, a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), an arcade, and more—having dining, shopping, and entertainment all under one roof made everything so effortless. The room was genuinely spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides offered sweeping panoramic views of Jeju City. Just a heads-up: toothbrushes come with an extra charge, though bottled water was generously provided.

As for service, it really lived up to other reviews regarding the oddly aloof attitude. That said, all the concierges we met were warm, polite, and took the initiative to help with our luggage. Front desk check-in seems to be hit-or-miss, but we got lucky! The young lady who checked us in was sweet and lovely; she gave us a complimentary upgrade to a high-floor ocean view room, plus complimentary chocolates and madeleines from the hotel boutique, which was such a wonderful surprise! The gentleman who handled our check-out was also very warm—especially standing out as gentle and charming compared to the other staff around him who were just slacking off looking at their screens.

So, when checking in at the front desk, definitely try to pick a counter based on who looks friendliest—it makes a huge difference to your overall experience.
