Had a fantastic National Day trip! The hotel's environment is great, and the stay was very comfortable. The room was tidied up perfectly, and there were thoughtful complimentary fruits and red wine. The scenery is lovely, and it's super cool down in the pit. The light show at night with the drone display was truly breathtaking 😆. Finally, a big thanks to our butler Bruce for his attentive service, promptly answering all my questions. I'd love to come back for a second visit! 😍😍😍

This stay far exceeded my expectations. From arrival and check-in to the guest room, dining, and public areas, the five-star quality was evident throughout. Everything was spot-on, making for an overall comfortable and truly reassuring experience.

The exterior and lobby design are elegant and grand, featuring an open, airy layout with impeccably clean public spaces. The lighting and subtle fragrance complement each other perfectly, creating a soft, welcoming ambiance without feeling overwhelming. Stepping into the lobby immediately melted away my fatigue—whether returning during the day or late at night—thanks to the quiet and soothing environment.

Check-in was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were professional yet warm and personable; rather than just mechanically going through the process, they proactively introduced the hotel facilities, highlighted key details, and patiently answered questions with genuine care. The concierge was also fantastic, assisting with luggage, giving directions, and responding promptly. Across all departments, the staff demonstrated great professionalism—always greeting guests when passing by, addressing requests immediately without any hesitation or passing the buck. The service felt genuinely attentive rather than just superficial courtesy.

The room was a major highlight of the stay. It was spacious, bright, and thoroughly cleaned, with every corner spotless and odor-free. The bedding was plush, the mattress struck the right balance between firm and soft, and the pillow menu provided great options, ensuring a sound night’s sleep. The soundproofing was exceptional—virtually no noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, which is a huge plus for light sleepers. The room featured layered, adjustable lighting and stable climate control. In the bathroom, the wet and dry areas were well-separated, the water pressure was great with instant hot water, toiletries were fully stocked, and the towels were clean and fluffy. Housekeeping requests were handled quickly, with any extra items delivered promptly—a testament to their attention to detail.

The hotel boasts a prime location with easy taxi access, making it ideal for both business trips and city sightseeing. The public facilities are well-maintained, clean, and organized, perfect for a relaxing stroll during downtime.

Breakfast was equally impressive. The restaurant was clean and offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, complete with hot entrees, pastries, fresh fruits, and beverages. Food was replenished quickly, so stations were never left empty even during peak hours. The staff cleared tables and restocked utensils promptly, keeping the dining experience orderly and pleasant despite the crowds.

What stood out the most was the consistent quality throughout my multi-day stay. Daily housekeeping, common area cleanliness, and staff service remained consistently top-notch with no drop in standards. While many upscale hotels have stunning hardware but lack warmth in service, this property balances premium facilities with thoughtful, personalized hospitality perfectly—professional without feeling distant.

Whether traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is a dependable and comfortable choice. A big thank-you to the entire team for their attentive service, which added many wonderful memories to this trip. I will definitely make this my first choice whenever I visit this city again and will gladly recommend it to family and friends.

This was my first visit to an InterContinental hotel in Greater China. It's an older five-star hotel, so the hardware definitely shows its age.
The decor has that 'old money' vibe from the 90s, and the panoramic elevators and hallway color schemes really give it that traditional hotel feel.
The exterior facade and lighting renovation in 2025 turned out quite well, overall.

Breakfast was up to InterContinental standards, pretty average compared to other InterContinental properties, but nothing particularly stood out. There were fewer hot dishes, and some items in certain corners were slow to be refilled. Perhaps due to space constraints, the layout of the breakfast items felt a bit disjointed – the logic between the bread, pastries, fruit, salads, and coffee stations was somewhat disrupted. They might consider re-organizing the island display.

Service: InterContinental Hotel's service is, as always, beyond words and utterly satisfying! So glad I chose it! We arrived close to 11:30 PM after a full day at Disneyland until closing. The two staff members at check-in were patient, smiling, and even upgraded us to an Executive Room in the main building, which was super convenient on a rainy day, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage to Building 3. The room was just as spacious. A big shout-out to the front desk and the bellhops!

Environment: Located within a large garden, it's perfect for a stroll and unwinding when the weather is clear. However, on a rainy night, the lighting felt a bit dim. Since we arrived quite late on the check-in day, plus the rain, we couldn't see the roads or signs at all... The front desk number provided by the platform went unanswered, and no one came to inquire... For a moment, I even wondered if we had entered the wrong garden! 😂😂😂

Facilities: The room facilities were comprehensive, and it even had a dehumidifier, which was great! Clothes washed and hung in the room dried quickly! The humidity in Jiangnan is intense; I had to empty the dehumidifier's water three times a day. The furniture style suited the dignified feel of a state guesthouse. The only thing is that some items weren't very new; the bedsheets had small holes, and the bathrobes hanging in the closet were old and fuzzy. 🤭 However, the replacement bathrobes after use were much newer.

Hygiene: The housekeeping staff cleaned quite well and were proactive in changing things, though a little careless as it took until the third day to provide the children's toiletries kit.

Restaurant: Both the Chinese and Western restaurants were excellent! The restaurant ambiance and decor were very elegant! Breakfast was quite rich, and the Eggs Benedict 🥚 (Picture ⑩) was absolutely delicious! We made a reservation at Xinyuanlou, the Chinese restaurant, and the dishes were superb in color, aroma, and taste (Pictures ⑯ to ⑳). All the soups were freshly stewed and incredibly flavorful – 'so delicious it makes your eyebrows drop'! The specialty walnut beef was indeed bursting with juice; you absolutely must try it!

I stayed at the InterContinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC while in Shanghai for a competition. The hotel is indeed a bit older, but it's well-maintained overall, and the facilities are still quite good. The rooms have a sophisticated business style, the bedding is pristine and comfortable, and the desk with an ergonomic chair was perfect for pre-competition preparation. The black and gold marble countertops in the bathroom, along with the large mirror and integrated lighting, gave it a premium feel.

What I want to praise most is the service: On the second day, I was in a hurry for my competition, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a packed breakfast, which was incredibly helpful and a very thoughtful gesture! The only noticeable downside was the poor soundproofing of the room door; I could clearly hear noises from the hallway, which was a minor disturbance. The location is impeccable for those traveling via Hongqiao. Aside from the slight soundproofing issue, I was very satisfied overall.

The river view room was incredibly comfortable, offering stunning day and night views of the river and the Bund's iconic buildings. The underground parking was excellent, even accommodating taller vehicles, although you do need to switch elevators between the basement and the rooms. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options; however, I suggest increasing the range of stir-fried vegetables, as there weren't many. The room itself was soundproof and clean. My only issue was that on the second night, upon entering my room, I was hit with a strong smell of smoke. I suspect it came from a neighboring room through the air conditioning. Since the hotel is non-smoking, it's hard to go knocking on doors to find out who's being inconsiderate and uncivilized. Thankfully, they were very helpful and moved me to another room. The front desk staff, particularly Mr. Xiao Zhou, was very responsive to all my requests.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Intercontinental Dishui Lake is our top choice for family trips during holidays without leaving Shanghai! The environment is absolutely stunning, with exclusive views of the South Island lake – so beautiful 🌾. The family-friendly facilities are comprehensive, with a wide range of activities at the kids' club. The rooms thoughtfully provide a full set of children's amenities, and the view from the family two-bedroom suite is fantastic 👍. With the pool and lakeside cycling, the kids never wanted to leave 😀. Even during peak season, the service remained excellent. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. Our whole family felt completely relaxed on this vacation. Highly recommended for families with children!

Last weekend I stayed at InterContinental Dubai Festival City with my family, where we had booked two rooms. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and the hotel’s location is excellent. Especially its direct connection to Dubai Festival City Mall, which made dining and shopping very convenient.

However, the check-in process was quite disappointing. It took over two hours to receive our room keys, which was frustrating . Given that we had booked two rooms, it would have been reasonable to at least provide one room key while we wait for the other room. This delay suggested a lack of efficiency and experience at the front desk, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard.

On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality that we truly enjoyed. Aside from the check-in issue, the rest of our stay was very comfortable. The facilities, ambiance, and overall hospitality were all commendable.

This place is so convinience, the location in between dubai marina and jbr beach so you can go everywhere by walk. If u drive it’s easy to park and drive as well. The hotel is clean and the staff as well so friendly.
Got lucky we have dubai wheels view and dubai marina view.

Outstanding Experience
My stay at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay by IHG was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. The hotel pays great attention to the finest details in the room, from cleanliness to comfort, everything was perfectly arranged.
The service was excellent, and the staff were extremely professional, polite, and welcoming. The reception team was outstanding, and I would especially like to thank Rami for his remarkable hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care.
Honestly, this hotel deserves more than 5 stars. A luxurious experience with top-class service. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning.

The bathing facilities are not good. The Studio suite has a bathtub but no shower. The bathtub is too high from the ground and it is easy to fall. This needs to be improved.

Great stay! The best family friendly hotel in Shenzhen! The hotel facilities are top-notch! Room and pool(feature a water park) are all excellent. Service was the real highlight though. Ellie Lin at the Executive Lounge was amazing, so welcoming and helpful. Manager Yang at reception also super professional and made everything easy from the start. Definitely coming back!

Bringing foreign friends to experience Shenzhen's ocean views made the InterContinental Dameisha Resort the obvious first choice. Not too far from the city center, the hotel boasts comprehensive facilities and rooms with stunning, expansive ocean views. The beach and swimming pool were uncrowded and picturesque, and the surrounding area offers plenty of outlets and dining options, making it extremely convenient.

Beyond the hardware, I must give a big shout-out to the Guest Relations team. They reached out proactively before check-in to carefully confirm our travel needs. Communication throughout was seamless and responses were prompt. Whenever we had questions during our stay, the team coordinated patiently with a professional and warm demeanor, making our stay feel truly cared for everywhere we turned. They were well-versed in loyalty member benefits, perfectly balancing efficiency with warmth. Rather than just delivering standard service, they genuinely noticed the guests' small needs with heartwarming attention to detail. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was comfortable and effortless, truly embodying the InterContinental brand of hospitality.

While the mountain and sea views are certainly spectacular, this heartwarming service was the biggest surprise of our vacation. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Dameisha, and highly recommend it to everyone!

Choosing to relax at the InterContinental during this National Day holiday was the best decision I could have made. The biggest pleasant surprise of my stay was the Executive Lounge. The overall experience was an absolute 10/10, completely refreshing my understanding of executive privileges at luxury hotels. From the ambiance and dining to the service, every meticulous detail was taken care of, making for a deeply comforting and pleasant stay.

Located on the 19th floor, the Executive Lounge boasts an elegant, quiet ambiance and a sophisticated style. The minimalist yet grand interior design features a well-planned, uncrowded layout. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views—flooded with bright, comfortable natural light during the day, and transforming into a great spot to enjoy the city nightscape by dusk, maximizing the atmosphere. The space is clearly zoned, with the lounge, dining, and work areas completely undisturbed by one another. The seating is soft and comfortable with excellent privacy, making it perfect whether you are looking to unwind alone, catch up on work, or have a casual chat.

The quality of the food and beverages completely exceeded my expectations. As a frequent guest of the InterContinental Group who has stayed at their properties across various cities, I found the offerings here to be diverse, fresh, and exquisite. The afternoon tea pastries had a delicate texture without being overly sweet; the assortment of mousses, mini cakes, and cream puffs delivered on both aesthetics and taste. During Happy Hour, the hot dishes, cold cuts, salads, and snacks were rotated continuously. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors authentic, and the balance of meat and vegetables was well-maintained. The beverage selection was comprehensive, featuring red and white wines, signature drinks, juices, teas, and coffee—all available free-flow throughout, matching the quality of a professional bar!

What deserves the highest praise is the lounge service team. Alfreda at the front desk was gentle, patient, and exceptionally professional. Allen struck just the right balance in his service—warm and attentive without being intrusive. Sherry was prompt and proactive in clearing empty plates and replenishing drinks, showing a keen awareness of guests' needs. Doris and Ciri were consistently responsive throughout, maintaining a gentle, attentive manner full of thoughtful touches.

The overall experience was superb. The executive privileges offered incredible value for money, making total immersion and relaxation effortless. Attentive service, exquisite food, and a comfortable environment doubled the quality of the stay, making it an absolute highlight of this trip! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
