I stayed in Building 2, and the air conditioning didn't provide heat.
1. After I reported the issue, housekeeping brought a space heater. They said that if I set the AC panel to 'cool' and the temperature to 22 degrees, it would produce warm air.

2. I felt no difference with my hand. An engineer came but couldn't fix the problem, saying he had to wait for someone else, so I went to eat.

3. When I returned after dinner, the room was quite warm (because the space heater had been on), but the air coming from the vent still felt like room temperature. Later, they used a temperature gun, and the vent temperature was 24 degrees Celsius, while the wall temperature was 21. I mentioned that if there was actual heating, the vent temperature would typically be over 30 degrees. They claimed it wasn't set that high, even though the AC panel was set to 'cool.'

Summary:
1. The space heater provided was acceptable.
2. However, the attempt to deceive guests about the AC's heating function was quite annoying.

We were very impressed with front desk service. Especially Ms Gong Hui. We were assigned a double bed room which we did not like due to it facing the street with several buildings instead of a full mountain view on a lower floor. Ms Gong entertained us and showed a preferred high floor unit facing more mountain view. We were assigned Room 1031 which maybe smaller than the booked double bed room. But the replacement met all our expectations. We were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay at the Lingnan Dong Fang Hotel. We will definitely return to stay at this Hotel again.

The room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout, and all facilities were kept very clean. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea for two were also provided. The breakfast was delicious, though the milk and yogurt were a slight letdown – my student speculated this might be linked to a corporate assistance program for the Northwest region. Although the afternoon tea led to a delay in our check-out, the hotel was kind enough to extend our key card access, and the front desk staff apologized.

The service was perfect. The staff contacted us a day in advance to check the number of people traveling, upgraded our room, and prepared children's supplies and welcome fruit for our children. The hotel is very grand, with activities related to the 15th National Games. The connecting corridor is stunning, and the room has a great view. I could relax and unwind looking out the window while the children played in the pool. It's also not far from the Shisiyong Seafood Market, so we drove there after enjoying the seafood. It was a very satisfying stay.

This is the most comfortable bed I have slept in a hotel this year. People with back problems need this kind of hard bed. The location of the hotel is good and it is convenient to go anywhere. The service of the front desk brother is very good. Especially this package includes tickets for Huangpu stage play. It is very cost-effective. It costs more than 100 yuan to buy it separately. The hotel is very new and clean.

The environment is beautiful, the room is large, the front desk upgraded the room for free and the attitude was good. However, the area around the hotel is similar to a village in the city, and the bathroom in the hotel room is small, and the water is heated by electricity, which is inconvenient to use in winter.

The Denpasar buffet breakfast in the morning is OK, unlimited hot springs, children can go to the naughty castle park, you can visit the plank road around the lake and enjoy the small Huangguoshu waterfall in the hotel, the room has Shaoguan high-speed railway station pick-up service, the room is relatively comfortable, friends who come in July can play in the new water park, the lobby manager Hu service is very good

I took my kids here when it just opened 10 years ago and was very satisfied. I wanted to take some comparison photos and come again 10 years later. I was extremely disappointed. I was prepared for the old decoration. To be honest, the room was clean. But the public area swimming pool and hot spring pool were dirty and cold, and the service attitude was not good. The toilet was blocked at night, so I thought I would not bother the waiter to wait until the morning to clean it up. In the end, the toilet paper ran out and I asked her for an extra roll. The answer was, didn’t she give you too much yesterday? (The toilet paper was very thin and not enough. I asked her when I checked in.) When I asked her to give me more water in the room, she said she would charge for it. The attitude was as if the hotel’s things were her personal things. This kind of waiter was just driving customers away. Moreover, I came here with a good impression in the past. I was extremely disappointed. It is a doomed hotel. There will be no next time.
