We booked two rooms, and one room got upgraded to a corner suite upon check-in. Both rooms were very clean with a very nice ocean view.
The breakfast at the lounge and in the room was superb, excellent food.
Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bellmen at the entrance.
Will definitely return again next time in Busan.

We chose Park Hyatt, an iconic landmark in Guangzhou, to celebrate my birthday.  The hotel lobby on Level 65 offers a spectacular view of Canton Tower and surrounding skyscrapers. 

Room:
We were upgraded to a room that offered a beautiful view of the river and magnificent sunsets. The room was clean, spacious, decorated in earthy wood tones, with a walk-in closet, 3 seater sofa, dining table, TV with international programs. The hotel also decorated the room with birthday decor. The bed was comfortable 

We liked the separate toilet with it's own sink from the bathroom with its double sink. However, the design of the shower room floor with exposed surrounding drainage was rather unappealing.

Food:
The complimentary birthday cake was delicious. We also had the opportunity to dine in their Chinese restaurant, Yue Jing Xuan, and their food and service was excellent.

Service:
We had a few issues on service on our first day. These were quickly addressed and resolved with sincerity and initiative when we informed the front desk, with special thanks to Mr Zone Li, Ms Zero Lin and Ms Joy Hu. We were also compensated generously and we deeply appreciated their service recovery.

Last year, I stayed in a View Suite in Shenzhen for ten days, and my biggest complaint was how boring it was because the TV didn't have screen casting capabilities 🥲. My week-long stay this time was a complete night-and-day difference from last year! The service was absolutely outstanding. The TVs have also been upgraded and now support screen casting. I was even upgraded to a suite, and any issues were resolved with impressive speed. A special thank you to Jason and Leon for their invaluable assistance. I hope Park Hyatt continues to improve and thrive. (On a side note, I do wish the breakfast menu would get an update; it feels a bit stagnant and isn't particularly delicious.)
