I booked a deluxe twin room because the single beds are slightly wider than in other hotels, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The hotel's location is truly excellent; it's right across from Yu Garden Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere.

This hotel is an older establishment that used to cater to international guests, and you can still feel that classic, old-world charm, with many foreign guests around. However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. While they still function, a renovation is definitely due.

I must commend the service; it was genuinely fantastic. During check-in, I added Ellen, who helped me, on WeChat. I needed her assistance with something that very evening, and she went above and beyond to help me out in a pinch. I'm truly grateful!

Location 
-The hotel is located right above Zhongshan Park Subway Station which connects you to most popular tourist attractions, the 2 major airports (Shanghai Hongqiao and Pudong Airport) and the high speed train station (Shanghai Hongqiao Station) which are all on Line 2. It is right within a massive shopping complex with over 6 floors (Longemont City Life Center or 龙之梦城市生活中心）with a whole array of food, entertainment, and shopping options. There is an official Pokemon store, a Husky cafe, a cat cafe, a movie theatre, two supermarkets, a PopMart store and more! You can spend a whole day shopping here and you probably will not be able to finish exploring the whole shopping complex. There is also a Raffles City Shopping Centre right opposite if you want more options.

Room 
-We booked a 3 bedder family room and were given 2 double beds and a single bed. The room was clean and the view was amazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave us a vantage point of the Shanghai city view. We requested for a high floor and were given a room on the 42nd floor. The toilet was huge with a shower and a bathtub and felt luxurious.

Service and Amenities
-There was a heated swimming pool and a gym available to guests but we did not really use it. The hotel is able to accept parcels on your behalf should you decide to go on a shopping spree on Taobao. They are able to consolidate your parcels and send them to your room. They do not have a food delivery robot and I did not really try ordering food delivery to the hotel here so I will not comment much on this. Though I did see a self-collection cabinet for ******* deliveries on the first floor.

Overall, a highly recommended stay if you value convenience and shopping!

Five-star review! It was such a stress-free experience staying at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel with my child for their high school entrance exams. Lene at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, proactively arranging a quiet, soundproof room, providing the perfect resting environment for a student. The 'Good Luck' package for exam takers was a wonderful touch, with nutritious and delicious meals – a great omen for success! The service was attentive and thorough, and the room was clean and comfortable. This is definitely the top choice hotel for exam support stays!

This was my family's first time staying at the Renaissance Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel, and we were incredibly lucky to meet Wenbo, the guest relations manager at the front desk. Seeing that there were three of us, he proactively upgraded us to a twin room with a large balcony. Our child was absolutely thrilled upon entering the room! The balcony offered an expansive view, excellent ventilation, and plenty of natural light. Sitting out there in the evening, enjoying the breeze, was incredibly pleasant. Wenbo also patiently introduced us to the hotel's facilities, such as the breakfast area, gym, and pool, which made our stay feel effortless. Because our initial experience was so good, and we were very satisfied with both the room and the service, we decided to extend our stay for another night on the spot. Throughout our stay, Wenbo was consistently warm and attentive, promptly responding to any requests we had. I sincerely thank Wenbo for his professionalism and thoughtfulness; he made this family trip exceptionally warm and memorable. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I've stayed here twice now, and both times it exceeded my expectations. It's a hotel with great ambiance and excellent service. It's clean and tidy, yet also grand. From the moment you enter to the elevator lobby, there's always a staff member ready to open car doors, help with luggage, press elevator buttons, and offer various greetings – it's very welcoming. The complimentary homemade peanut brittle in the room is also delicious, and the vintage-style packaging is very exquisite. Overall, everything is a huge plus!

Everything about this hotel was great, especially the service. The staff were perfectly placed; just a wave in the lobby and someone would immediately come to assist. The breakfast was thoughtfully arranged with a private booth, and the manager was very kind, even helping to lift the curtain for us. We were traveling with family for the May Day holiday and forgot our razor and toothbrushes. They proactively provided toiletries, which were quite good, especially the razor – it was really sharp, unlike the dull ones at some other hotels. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would have been even happier if breakfast had been complimentary, as my child didn't eat much anyway.

The room was quite small, but clean. There wasn't much in terms of service, and overall, the value for money was pretty poor. Flushing isn't that big anyway, so staying in different areas probably doesn't make a huge difference. Besides being clean, there really aren't any other positives. The internet was also very bad.

The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and understanding. She allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated since we flew in from CA and with the time different and able to rest for a bit in the room before we start our day was the best ever.

I booked this hotel because of a last-minute need, and it was quite good. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were complete. They even gave me a 25 RMB breakfast voucher. The free luggage storage service was also excellent.

It was absolutely brilliant at Renaissance New York Chelsea from the beginning to the end of our stay.

The reception staff arranged a room with amazing view per our request and explained well for everything the hotel could offer.

Room is morden, chic, spacious with great amenities and friendly housekeeping staff.

Breakfast was buffet style which was better than we expected and the hotel provides bottled water at the lobby throughout the day. 

We would highly recommend it!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk from Penn station, making it easy to catch the train and also convenient to take the LIRR or subway from JFK. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable, but the room was rather small. Our midtown view room faced 34th Street, and the main problem was the terrible soundproofing. We could hear everything clearly, from the doors of rooms opposite to police cars passing by downstairs. Light sleepers should ask the front desk for a quiet room.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation and excellent overall service, particularly from the front desk ladies, Selina and Rita. Their graceful and proper demeanor, coupled with their warm and attentive service, truly reflects the hotel's high standards. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quiet, and the breakfast offers a great variety. The doorman service is also commendable. We booked a room with a view, and it was truly amazing; upon drawing the curtains, we could see the Forbidden City, the Great Hall of the People, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and Beihai Park – all within sight. I highly recommend the Jinmao Hotel.

This hotel truly lives up to its long-standing five-star reputation! The front desk staff was incredibly professional and efficient. They even upgraded me to a newly renovated Executive King room and thoughtfully mentioned that there might be a slight renovation smell. Honestly, it just smelled like new wood from freshly built cabinets, not an overpowering or unpleasant 'renovation' smell at all. Plus, the design and color scheme of the newly renovated room are absolutely fantastic!

Highly recommend the Renaissance Beijing Zhongguancun Dongsheng Hotel! It's the top choice for business travelers in the northern district, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations.

The location is superb, right inside the Dongsheng Science Park. Surrounded by tech companies, it's incredibly convenient for visiting clients and attending meetings. For those driving, the underground parking has ample spaces and even charging stations, making the commute stress-free. The hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are pristine. The lobby's military tunnel and horse-themed design is very unique, and the floating large screen creates a fantastic atmosphere. The horse-hoof sound effect in the elevator is a thoughtful detail, perfect for photos.

The guest rooms are spacious and airy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the park's greenery. The lighting and curtains are fully smart-controlled. The bedding is soft yet supportive, with a variety of pillows available. The soundproofing is excellent, completely isolating any noise from the hallway or the park, ensuring a peaceful rest even if you're working late. The bathroom features a wet-dry separation, with premium-scented toiletries and stable water pressure and temperature. The cleaning is meticulous with no corners missed.

The 18th-floor executive lounge offers breathtaking views, overlooking Olympic Forest Park and the Olympic Tower. The evening happy hour offerings are top-notch, and coffee is unlimited. The 24-hour gym and heated pool are well-equipped, perfect for unwinding after work.

The entire staff provides professional and attentive service. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and housekeeping and concierge were responsive and quick to address any requests. Whether for a short business trip or a longer stay for work in the park, this Renaissance is worth repeat visits. I've already saved it – next time I'm in Zhongguancun, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!
