Before my arrival, the hotel's service manager, Li Johansson, contacted me to inquire about my preferences. Upon learning that I wanted at least one room with a view, she went above and beyond to arrange two rooms with excellent views. She also thoughtfully informed me whether I could check in immediately upon arrival or if there would be a slight wait due to the peak travel season. When it comes to service, it's absolutely impeccable – truly a five-star experience.

Objectively, the hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the quality of service more than makes up for it. My only minor suggestion would be regarding breakfast: the food replenishment was a little slow, and the variety of dishes could be improved. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely stay at again when visiting Shanghai. Excellent service is the foundation of customer loyalty, and in this regard, the Renaissance Yu Garden truly excels in my opinion.

When we arrived and went up to our room it wasn’t as described on trip.com. Fortunately Karen on the front desk came out to help us sort the issue and she was absolutely amazing, so helpful and obliging. She also spoke some English which was also very helpful. We ended up having an amazing day. The breakfast buffet was amazing so much western food to choose from which we were super impressed by. Also the dinner buffet was amazing. If you want to use the pool remember to take a swimming cap as they change a lot for them and you must swim with one on. 
The beds were super comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel has great restaurants and amenities and we would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay here. I brought my kids last time and it was so convenient. The subway is right downstairs, and Line 2 goes to both airports. I chose it again for my business trip this time. There's all sorts of food downstairs, plus a Hema Fresh supermarket. If you want to go for a walk, there's a park nearby too. It's super convenient for dining, accommodation, and entertainment.

Why do I always get assigned the room at the very end of the hall? This is not the first time I've stayed in this particular room, and it's always so cold that I need to use a heater – a first for a hotel stay! I do love your breakfast; it's very extensive, and even with a lot of people, everything is well-organized. The gym and pool are excellent and clean too.

The facilities are complete, comfortable, spacious, and bright, feeling quite new! The hygiene is excellent, and toiletries are fully stocked. The environment is quiet and pleasant, a true oasis in Shanghai. It's close to the subway station and InCity shopping mall, making shopping and dining very convenient! The service quality is top-notch; my room was upgraded, and I even received complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast is abundant and high-class. There's a gym and an indoor swimming pool; even if only one person is swimming, there are two lifeguards and one attendant on duty. The water quality is clear and good! A truly amazing experience!

The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful and warm, with a gentle and patient attitude. Check-in was efficient, and they thoroughly explained the hotel facilities, making the whole process very comfortable. Any questions I had were answered promptly, showing their professionalism and attentiveness. The experience was superb! Such dedicated service is truly rare, and I must give it a full five-star rating. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Staying at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing in an Executive Forbidden City View Room was an amazing experience! The location is absolutely superb, and the room view is unbeatable; I could see the entire Forbidden City panorama right from my bed. The environment was clean and comfortable, and the service was exceptionally attentive. A big thank you to Jasmine for arranging everything so perfectly, making my entire stay incredibly pleasant. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely book with Jasmine again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located in the heart of Beijing's CBD, close to a subway station, and within walking distance of several shopping malls and restaurants. The surrounding area offers excellent transportation links, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and tourists. Nearby, you'll find famous landmarks like the China World Trade Center and China Zun, contributing to a vibrant commercial atmosphere with abundant shopping and dining options, catering to all types of travel needs.

So lucky! Since I arrived quite late, the Executive King Room I originally booked was unavailable, and they upgraded me to the Presidential Suite instead. It's originally 48,000 a night – ridiculously huge, and honestly, a bit of a waste for just one person, haha! But overall, it was a fantastic experience. Perfect for couples looking to celebrate an anniversary. There's a massive living room plus a side lounge, making it great for a girls' birthday party or something similar. It even has a kitchen and a private bar in the side lounge, as you can see in the pictures.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Central Park and within easy reach of the subway, making it convenient for sightseeing. The lobby is beautifully designed, with an elegant, warm, and comfortable atmosphere that connects to the lobby bar and the Flame restaurant. The Renaissance Chinese Restaurant (Wanli Xuan) also has a fantastic ambiance, delicious food, and reasonable prices, making it a great spot for a meal. The guest rooms are about 40 square meters, well-laid out, and fully equipped. The two 1.4-meter-wide beds are particularly good, with high-quality bedding ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The shower head setup provides good water pressure, and I especially liked the adjustable handheld shower. The large bottles of toiletries have a pleasant scent, which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a truly wonderful place for a vacation, with great food, drinks, and activities!

This is a very good hotel. It seems to be an unexpected gem in a very isolated part of Suzhou. I had to travel to this area to meet a family member who recently started a new job. The hotel is 1hour away from Suzhou stations. Thus, unless you have a need to be in this area, I would not recommend you staying in this hotel purely because its location is far from all the attractions of central Suzhou. However, if you are in this area and need a hotel then i would most definitely recommend this one. The staff were friendly and spoke english. The hotel buffet was very good, with enough options to satisfy both western and eastern stomachs. I would recommend this hotel to someone intending to stay in this area.

Overall, the stay was good, with service and cleanliness maintaining the expected five-star hotel standard. The environment is also very suitable for family trips. We stayed during the May Day holiday and even got to see a fireworks show at night, which created a great atmosphere.

However, the in-room facilities and a couple of issues brought down the overall experience. Two things in particular really impacted our rest:

Firstly, the motion-sensor light in the entrance wardrobe was faulty. It would inexplicably stay on all night sometimes, and then work fine during the day.

Secondly, the moment you open the room door, the main power automatically turns on the lights. Our child goes to bed early, so when we'd come back at night and open the door, the lights would instantly blaze on. We'd then have to manually press a button to turn them off. This disturbed both afternoon naps and nighttime sleep. It's very inconvenient for guests sharing a room with different sleeping schedules, and shows a lack of thoughtful design, which significantly affected our stay.
