We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and promptly provided fans when the room felt a little warm, which we really appreciated. Check-in was really smooth, and Scarlett was especially helpful in handling everything and resolving our questions quickly via WeChat. The location is also excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Yu Garden with great views from the window. Overall, a very comfortable and hassle-free stay!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Lene at the front desk! When we checked in, she greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, and meticulously explained all the hotel's services. She made sure to remind me about the breakfast times and location and even recommended some special dishes. The next day, when we went for breakfast, it was indeed incredibly varied, with Chinese dim sum, Western cold cuts, and fresh fruit all available, and everything tasted amazing. Upon entering our room, we were even more pleasantly surprised; it was spotless, the linens were pristine, and the furniture was neatly arranged, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. From check-in to check-out, her professional and thoughtful service, combined with the hotel's excellent facilities, truly made us feel at home. I wholeheartedly commend Lene and this hotel, and I will definitely be back here on my next visit!

When it's okay, the young man is very good, it's just that I was playing outside, and it's this time now. The hotel is very close to the subway station, which is convenient for getting around. The windows are quite soundproof, so you can't hear outside noises. However, you can hear children talking loudly next door. Breakfast was pretty good, with fresh-squeezed juice available with the fruit. I checked out the afternoon tea, but there wasn't much to eat, just a few small cakes. The dinner selection wasn't huge, but the food tasted good; the char siu pastry was delicious. There were plenty of TV channels and the picture was clear, but you couldn't cast to the screen. The service was excellent; staff greeted you when you came and went, and communication was smooth.

Really love how the staff were so attentive and helpful during our stay. The hotel has good facilities especially the gym room. Counter staffs were great and facilitated our check in and check out process so smoothly. Kudos to them and the cleaning ladies who made our holiday a pleasant one.

The location is close to the subway line 7 and it’s considered good in regards to the price.
Hotel is new and clean. Nice city view at the check in lobby. I like their rooftop bar and the LGA shuttle service.

The parking is pretty far away. They give out free tickets for some attractions. Times square is very very crowded. Watch out for people dressed up to ask you to take photos with them. They will ask for money later. 

Environment: The hotel environment is very good. A particularly good thing is that there are no buttons in the elevator and you can only swipe the room card, which prevents non-hotel residents from entering the hotel at will.

The location is also good. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to Korea Street, Times Square, and Broadway. There is also a subway station nearby, a 3-minute walk away.

Facilities and hygiene: Nothing wrong, everything is OK

I booked a king-size bed room with city view for two nights. The night view was good at night. I felt it was suitable for two people. This time, three people slept in the same bed. There wasn’t much room to put the takeaways, but the hotel was generally OK.

The most important thing to remind you is that the hotel is located in Harlem, which is said to be a black community. You can check the security situation in the area online. I don't mean to discriminate against black people here. But the first night I arrived was around 7pm on the weekend. After getting off the bus, I felt that there were many people around the hotel and it was quite chaotic. The hotel reception was on the 5th floor. After checking the Internet in the room, I felt that I lived in the wrong place. I traveled by UBER in the next few days and didn't dare to take the subway. The hotel should be a high-end one nearby, and the Apollo Theater is next to it. I stayed for 5 or 6 days, but I didn't go around the hotel, so it's inconvenient to make too many comments. It's just that there are many black people outside the hotel, and beggars occasionally approached me. I didn't encounter any unpleasant things around the hotel.

The location is OK, close to Chelsea, or just in Chelsea. The view is good, with a night view of Manhattan. The room is also quite big. Walk around for a few minutes and you will be at the famous gallery of Chelsea, which is also close to the highline. It depends on where you want to go. All in all, it's good, I like it.

Whenever I visit Beijing, the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing is my go-to choice. A hotel offering views of the Forbidden City and, at night, the illuminated Tiananmen Square, is incredibly rare in Beijing. This panoramic view is truly Renaissance's trump card. Moreover, the hotel's decor and ambiance perfectly suit my taste—it's both comfortable and inviting. The gym and swimming pool are additional reasons I consistently choose this hotel. And of course, its unbeatable location is a major plus. I'm also very fond of the exquisite food served at the executive lounge. Sitting by the window, gazing at the Forbidden City while savoring delicious cuisine, is simply delightful.

The rooms are really showing their age. The lobby on the 4th floor doesn't even bother turning on enough lights, so it's not bright at all. This time, we booked four rooms for one night and stayed for four consecutive nights. The room rate jumped from 900 to 1600 RMB. Honestly, at that price, you could easily stay at a high-end, newer hotel. The breakfast used to be good, but now there's hardly anything worth eating. I've been staying at the Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel for almost 20 years, and I almost always chose it when I visited Beijing. The original lobby, including the outdoor area on the first floor, used to be so modern and stylish. Now, it's just nostalgia keeping me here. Has the economic downturn really had such a big impact? Even the staff don't act like hotel service personnel; they never smile and have a very officious attitude... It's a shame, really.

The hotel's decor, from the lobby to the rooms, really pays attention to detail and has a great sense of design. The ornaments in our suite also showed thoughtfulness. It was very spacious with a double-bathroom design, perfect for families, and the room layout was excellent, ensuring privacy. We especially appreciated the complimentary wooden souvenir key card, featuring the hotel's distinctive horse theme. Soundproofing was great, and cleanliness was high. My favorite part was the living room; it felt just like home. The male receptionist and the concierge staff were both very helpful.

The restaurant has a stylish design, but the variety of dishes wasn't very extensive, and options were limited. There weren't many Beijing-specific breakfast items, and there were very few staff members. The coffee machine was a bit of a mystery – it prompted you to pull something to confirm, but it wasn't actually necessary, and I had to ask someone nearby for help. Throughout our time in the restaurant, I only saw one roving server. However, having lemon chicken feet with bolognese in the morning was unexpectedly good – a perfect snack with a drink, haha!
