We booked a family-friendly scenic room, and the night view was absolutely stunning. You could see the 'Shanghai Trio' (Lujiazui skyscrapers) and Yu Garden. Even with an extra child's bed, the room was still spacious and comfortable. The rooms with Oriental Pearl Tower views would have been a bit small with an extra bed, so we opted for this one to enjoy a different kind of view, and it was perfectly situated. We could see the Yu Garden area lit up all night long. Getting around was super convenient; Yu Garden was very close. Just across the street, past the zebra crossing, was the subway station, making it incredibly easy to travel. The subway goes directly to Hongqiao Railway Station and the airport. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shanghai.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The views from the windows were amazing (photos attached). The room has a kettle, fridge, ironing board and iron, umbrella, and safe. There's plenty of storage space. We were able to check in before 2 PM without any issues.

On the downside, the furniture is really worn out, it was dusty, the mattresses were strange, and the pillows weren't great. There were four of us, but only three towels provided.

Tip: Don't try to find the entrance through the shopping mall right away. Exit subway Green Line #2 at Exit #5, turn left, and walk around the exit. You'll see the entrance to the high-rise building (literally 50 steps away). At the entrance, there are elevators to the 25th floor, where the reception is. From reception, other elevators take you to the residential floors. Once you're familiar, you can use the mall entrance/exit if needed.

Returning to Shanghai Chun Da Hotel again, upon arrival, Lene kindly helped upgrade our room. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. We also received a thoughtful welcome gift from Lene, which was a lovely touch. The service was warm, attentive, and prompt. Overall, our stay was once again excellent. Highly recommend!

To see the Eurasian eagle-owl and peregrine falcons at the zoo, the Renaissance is relatively close. The 860 price tag might seem a bit high, but it includes all-day soft drinks, afternoon tea, happy hour, and cocktails at the executive lounge, plus the in-room mini-bar and snacks. All in all, it's quite a good deal.

The location is very convenient, about a 6-minute walk from the subway station, which is great for those traveling by train.

The hotel lobby has a lovely scent, and the decor is very modern and beautiful. The front desk staff and lobby manager were very helpful, even delivering our takeout orders to the room.

Our room had a small balcony, and while our floor didn't have the small round table and camping chairs, it didn't really impact our stay. The hotel's hygiene was generally good, but the toilet in our room had a slight odor after each flush, which might be a plumbing issue. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

The hotel's location is quite far from the city center. The decor is average. My main complaint is about the staff's service attitude; overall, both their service and professionalism need improvement. First, at 9:20 AM, we went to the first floor for breakfast. A woman in a gray uniform stopped us at the restaurant entrance, telling us it was peak dining time and we had to wait to be seated because there were no empty tables inside. We offered to go in and find a table ourselves to avoid bothering the staff. The employee immediately dropped her fake smile and insisted we wait at the door. When we finally entered, we found many empty tables. Throughout our meal, staff repeatedly came over to remind us that breakfast service ended at 10 AM and urged us to hurry and get whatever we wanted to eat. Second, when checking out, a tall male staff member at the front desk was unsmiling and impatient, answering my questions with rhetorical questions. While the 800+ yuan room rate isn't high, the service attitude of some staff members is probably only worth 250 yuan. I hope the hotel strengthens its staff's ethical and professional training! In short, this is not a recommended hotel.

The facilities are complete, comfortable, spacious, and bright, feeling quite new! The hygiene is excellent, and toiletries are fully stocked. The environment is quiet and pleasant, a true oasis in Shanghai. It's close to the subway station and InCity shopping mall, making shopping and dining very convenient! The service quality is top-notch; my room was upgraded, and I even received complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast is abundant and high-class. There's a gym and an indoor swimming pool; even if only one person is swimming, there are two lifeguards and one attendant on duty. The water quality is clear and good! A truly amazing experience!

The room was quite small, but clean. There wasn't much in terms of service, and overall, the value for money was pretty poor. Flushing isn't that big anyway, so staying in different areas probably doesn't make a huge difference. Besides being clean, there really aren't any other positives. The internet was also very bad.

I booked this hotel because of a last-minute need, and it was quite good. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the facilities were complete. They even gave me a 25 RMB breakfast voucher. The free luggage storage service was also excellent.

The front desk lady that checked us in was super nice and understanding. She allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated since we flew in from CA and with the time different and able to rest for a bit in the room before we start our day was the best ever.
Thank you!!!

It was absolutely brilliant at Renaissance New York Chelsea from the beginning to the end of our stay.

The reception staff arranged a room with amazing view per our request and explained well for everything the hotel could offer.

Room is morden, chic, spacious with great amenities and friendly housekeeping staff.

Breakfast was buffet style which was better than we expected and the hotel provides bottled water at the lobby throughout the day.

We would highly recommend it!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk from Penn station, making it easy to catch the train and also convenient to take the LIRR or subway from JFK. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable, but the room was rather small. Our midtown view room faced 34th Street, and the main problem was the terrible soundproofing. We could hear everything clearly, from the doors of rooms opposite to police cars passing by downstairs. Light sleepers should ask the front desk for a quiet room.

COCO proactively contacted us the day before our stay to answer detailed questions, which was very helpful! Our trip to the Renaissance Jinmao truly felt like a home away from home! Our family was very satisfied, and they even accommodated our family's preference for buckwheat pillows, which was a great touch!

Facilities: The suite was very cozy! Perfect for a family of three! The executive lounge also exceeded expectations, with an unbeatable view! The light meals were very satisfying and suited my family's taste.

Cleanliness: Housekeeping was prompt and very clean.

Environment: We were lucky to have great weather in Beijing, and the view outside the window was absolutely stunning (please see pictures). The transportation was also convenient, making it a good value for money given the location.

Service: COCO was very enthusiastic, communicated and responded promptly, and provided incredibly thoughtful service! All the other staff members were also very warm and greeted us kindly. Furthermore, as we had elderly family members who arrived on an early flight that day, the hotel kindly opened up a private room for us to rest while waiting for our suite to be ready, which was extremely considerate.

I specifically came for Jolin Tsai's concert on Saturday, and my one-night stay at the Renaissance Beijing Capital on June 13th was absolutely fantastic. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, with efficient and timely communication throughout. Any queries I had were met with quick responses and follow-ups, showing how much they value guest needs, providing meticulous and genuine service. The hotel's location is convenient, making travel to and from the concert hassle-free. The room was clean and tidy, ensuring a very pleasant rest. From reception to subsequent interactions, the professionalism was evident, with polite and warm service full of thoughtful touches. Although it was just a brief one-night stay for the concert, I received service far beyond my expectations, offering both great value for money and an excellent experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town for a show, and I sincerely recommend it to any concert-goers!

The Renaissance Beijing Zhongguancun Dongsheng Hotel is definitely the top choice for business travelers in Haidian. The hotel beautifully blends military horse riding culture with modern technology. From the saddle and golden horse sculptures in the lobby to the tent-style room designs, every detail is Instagram-worthy.

Chloe at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, upgrading us to an executive room for free, and check-in was efficient. Even with a large flow of guests, the entire staff provided attentive service, and Manager Fiona was quick to respond to our needs. The room offered excellent natural light and views, with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. There were only minor cleanliness issues, which didn't affect our stay. The executive lounge on the 18th floor offered a full selection of food and superb views. The hotel also has a gym and a heated swimming pool, and its proximity to Metro Line 8 makes getting around very convenient. Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations. It's my go-to for business trips, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Haidian.
