The room was small but I slept well. It was clean and odor-free. The lobby was simply decorated, and the front desk staff were really kind and welcoming. However, the sofa in the lobby was greasy, like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The facilities are basic. There were a lot of foreigners, and it's a budget-friendly hotel. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, dining, and other amenities. It's been a long time since I've seen Tokyo, and it's changed a lot. Plus, the weather was bad, which made it feel even more depressing – everything looked rusty. I'll have to go back and explore properly another time.

The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Senso-ji Temple, supermarkets, and a street full of izakayas. Transportation is convenient, being very close to Asakusa Station. The hotel is clean and generally feels similar to a Hanting (All Seasons) hotel. The rooms are small and compact, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay during a trip.

Tips:
Remember to pick up disposable toiletries from the front desk on the first floor. They also provide makeup remover, facial cleanser, and toner.
Bottled water is not provided; you'll need to use the communal dispensers on each floor. It's recommended to bring your own water bottle, though the hotel does provide cups.
Corner rooms offer a panoramic view of Senso-ji Temple and the Tokyo Skytree.

The room was a bit small, but for the price, it was great value for money and felt much more spacious than other rooms in the same price range. The breakfast spread was excellent and thoughtfully prepared. It was wonderfully quiet and cozy, offering a peaceful retreat after a day in the bustling city center. Despite the tranquility, dining and shopping options were very convenient; there were all sorts of restaurants and supermarkets right outside the alley. Plus, just one subway stop away, there's a large shopping complex that isn't too crowded. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo.

I had a great stay at this hotel. One of the biggest advantages is its incredibly convenient location—it’s very easy to get around, with public transportation, shops, and restaurants all nearby. This made my trip much more enjoyable and stress-free.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for a well-located and convenient place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was a little small, but with eight suitcases we expected that. The one thing that did make me uncomfortable was the bathroom. The floor didn’t feel stable — it seemed to shift or sit on an angle, which made me feel like I was moving, almost like being in an airplane lavatory. I didn’t feel good standing in there.

On the positive side, the location was excellent and close to everything. We were on floor 12, very nice views. The staff were fantastic, and I really appreciated the display showing laundry availability.

Staffs were very friendly and supportive. Amenities like toiletries and room supplies will be provided at the lobby which guests can pick based on their need. The hotel is located near 7Eleven and Family Mart so super convenient!!! It is also close to Mejiro station which is very accessible to downtown and central area (~15-20 minutes by subway). Price is much affordable compared to the downtown area! Highly recommended 💯

The hotel is right next to Tokyo Skytree, super convenient location. You just take Exit B3 from Oshiage Station, cross the road, and you're there. There are tons of shopping and dining options at the Skytree mall across the street, and it's really easy to get to major attractions like Sensoji Temple and Ginza by subway. The breakfast selection is quite good. Overall, highly recommended!

My recent stay at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba was quite a shock, definitely not as good as previous Richmond stays. I encountered a lot of issues during my four nights there. First, regarding my request for 'no corner room' – I had communicated this in advance via Ctrip. However, each floor at this hotel is small with only a few rooms, so there's not really a distinction between corner or non-corner. But I was still assigned a corner room on the top floor, which was really inconvenient. If the elevators were busy, I had to wait quite a while 😂. Two elevators really aren't enough. 

Next, the cleanliness. On my first day, I didn't select the continuous stay option on the TV. The hotel's policy is to clean every three days. I changed it to have cleaning for the remaining three days. But, dramatically, the first cleaning was fine, while the second and third had issues. During the second cleaning, the hotel's cleaning staff left two of their rags in my room. I wrote a note, but received no response, giving me the impression they just thought 'oh well, it's in your room now' 😃. The third cleaning was very simplified, and some areas were clearly missed.

As for the front desk, their English proficiency was quite limited, and sometimes they couldn't understand what I was saying. However, the female staff generally maintained a smiling service, while some of the male staff were expressionless.

I originally chose this hotel because of its good location, close to the JR station, which was indeed convenient. It's also close to Shiba Shinmei Shopping Street, Shiba Park, and Tokyo Tower. But I'd say the service was mediocre 😂. The room was also quite small, and I felt there were too few power outlets.

I chose this hotel for one night because it's within walking distance of Studio Ghibli. It's a Japanese-style business hotel—simple, efficient, and with attentive service. The lobby has small items like facial cleanser and face masks available for guests to take. Located in a residential area, it's quiet and undisturbed at night, making it ideal for business trips or families.

Located conveniently across from Tokyo Dome City (LaQua mall) and right above a Don Quixote, which is open 24hrs, the convenience is amazing at the price point. It is also near a few train and subway lines within walking distance which makes it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and simple with ample space. Amenities are free to pick up from the 4th floor lobby so it’s not that troublesome. Did not get breakfast from the hotel which I understand to be at the Saizeriya on the 3rd floor of the building.

This hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Fukuoka's Tenjin Nishi-dori. It's directly across the street from Iwataya department store and Ichiran Ramen, with Tenjin Underground Mall, various shopping centers, Don Quijote, Zara, trendy fashion streets, the subway, and the Nishitetsu Tenjin express bus terminal all within easy reach. There are also tons of great restaurants within walking distance. The self-check-in process was super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and for Japan, it was actually quite spacious – enough room to open up two suitcases comfortably. The shower had excellent water pressure. My only minor complaints are that the sink is a bit low and the water pressure for the faucet is on the weaker side. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Fukuoka!

Extremely satisfied, it felt like a home away from home. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and Yodobashi Camera is right next door. There are several 24-hour convenience stores nearby, which is super convenient. On the 8th floor, there's a microwave and a vending machine, which is a thoughtful touch. We were also able to request a late check-out for 1000 yen per hour. We stayed for 5 consecutive nights.

The location is superb, with a side entrance directly facing Tanukikoji, perfect for evening shopping at the drugstores. There's also an airport bus stop nearby. The best part is the incredibly rich breakfast and excellent service. Plus, every adult gets a free beer coupon daily, which is a real bonus for beer lovers, haha! As usual, the rooms are a bit small. They say housekeeping is every two days, but someone comes in daily to empty the trash and replenish towels. In the lobby, you can help yourself to free toothpaste, toothbrushes, facial masks, and bath salts as needed. However, the hotel's prices are a bit inflated on weekends, and ironically, booking in advance can be significantly more expensive than booking on the day. This time, Trip.com customer service was fantastic and helped me get a refund for the price difference. I'm very satisfied with Trip.com's service, which made for a perfect trip.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. The facilities were great, and there was an entrance area perfect for luggage. The triple room was incredibly spacious, which we absolutely loved. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Odori Park and Sapporo Station. Our room was on a corner, offering fantastic street views – perfect for photos! The breakfast set downstairs was delicious, and they also offer dinner which looked very appealing.
