In the outside, this hotel looks like something from the 1970s, but once we got through the marble reception area at to the staff, who were super friendly and helpful, we went to our room in the ‘Richmond Villas’ wing on the ground floor.  The room was large, the ceilings high, and it was generally very quiet.  We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the room and location.

The location is fantastic, right in the tourist district, just a 4-5 minute walk from the western entrance of Senso-ji Temple. The area downstairs is lively with many shops, small restaurants, and bars, and Don Quijote is nearby.

The room isn't large, but it's compact and charming, with a great view of the Tokyo Skytree right outside the window! The design is modern and minimalist, showing thoughtful touches. For example, the wall-mounted coat hooks can be folded away, and there's a small stool in a corner that can be used for luggage or as a seating area for eating, maximizing the usable space. There's a desk by the window for writing, and charging cables are provided. The front desk staff are very warm and friendly.

The hotel is located above a Uniqlo store, and the front desk is upstairs. You take the elevator from behind Uniqlo to get there. Since the lower floors are all restaurants, waiting for the elevator can be a bit inconvenient at times.

Location: The hotel's location is quite convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. Kinshicho Station itself is pretty big and has a shopping area, which is great. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores.
Cleanliness: The bed sheets were clean, and there was no strange smell in the room.
Service: Normal. We were out shopping most of the time, so I didn't encounter any issues. The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, which wasn't necessary for us, but it would be very helpful for those with language barriers.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, not far from the subway station. Senso-ji Temple is just a short walk downstairs, and Asakusa Station (for trains to Nikko) is also conveniently close. There are plenty of delicious little eateries right downstairs. The rooms are quite small and the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. Check-out is at 11 AM. We were delayed by over half an hour due to jet lag and were fined 50 RMB per room. I found the hotel's policy on this to be a bit petty. The windows in the corridor offer a view overlooking Senso-ji Temple. What's rather odd is that I booked two rooms on Ctrip, one large and one small, but upon arrival, I was told they were identical. We just made do with it. Overall, it's only suitable for a brief transit stay in Tokyo.

Pros:
1. The hotel's decor is quite elegant and tasteful; it certainly doesn't feel old or run-down, which suited my aesthetic perfectly. As soon as you enter the lobby, you're greeted by strong, refreshing air conditioning and an elegant ambiance.
2. I felt very secure here; there weren't any questionable individuals loitering around.
3. Complimentary coffee is available in the mornings.
4. Subway access is excellent, with Exit 6 being the closest. The Akatsukado supermarket is well-stocked and convenient for groceries. Plus, there's a Mos Burger and McDonald's right across the street. While there are plenty of dining options nearby, you'll need to do your own research to find the best ones.

Cons:
1. The washing machines were both expensive and didn't clean clothes effectively.
2. The housekeeping staff made an incredible amount of noise while cleaning rooms. They were so heavy-handed and loud; it sounded like they were trying to demolish the place.
3. The front desk staff's English wasn't very good, which made communication quite challenging. They often relied on translation apps that produced very poor results. I hope they improve their English skills. There was one staff member who spoke Chinese, but he wasn't always on duty.
4. The air conditioning unit produced a low-frequency hum when set to a higher fan speed, so I had to keep it on a lower setting.
5. There was noticeable light leakage from the top of the curtains.

Overall, despite these minor issues, it's still a hotel I would consider staying at.

The hotel is just opposite Solamachi, Skytree, Oshiage station so it’s really convenient. There’s Life supermarket so it’s great for families or even parents who need to get baby necessities. From Narita, we took Skyaccess to Oshiage. Our package included breakfast. On some days we did not have breakfast at Sizzler so we exchanged the breakfast tickets for fruit cakes etc. Lobby staff were really friendly and helpful. There are small sachets of bath powder, facial wash etc that you can help yourself to at the lobby. The location is perfect for travellers who prefer more quiet areas as compared to Shibuya/Shinjuku etc. it’s nice strolling around the area as it is not crowded at all. Overall, it’s a very good experience staying there.

The hotel is extremely near the metro. There is also a large supermarket nearby. Very convenient location, though a bit far away from places like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Room is new and clean. Especially appreciated that there is a weight scale in the reception floor. You can have an idea of your luggage weight before heading to airport. 😂

The front desk is located on the second floor, and key card access is required for all guest floors. Complimentary toiletries are available for self-collection on the second floor, where you'll also find vending machines and a microwave. Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge. Some rooms offer close-up views of Tokyo Tower. A Starbucks is conveniently situated right downstairs, and there are several convenience stores nearby. Daimon Station is within easy walking distance. The area is quite lively with office workers during the day, and the hotel offers excellent access to Haneda Airport.

Located conveniently across from Tokyo Dome City (LaQua mall) and right above a Don Quixote, which is open 24hrs, the convenience is amazing at the price point. It is also near a few train and subway lines within walking distance which makes it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and simple with ample space. Amenities are free to pick up from the 4th floor lobby so it’s not that troublesome. Did not get breakfast from the hotel which I understand to be at the Saizeriya on the 3rd floor of the building.

3️⃣I didn't bring breakfast this time, so I solved it by myself at the nearby convenience stores
4️⃣The service is friendly and worth recommending

Very conveniently located, right in the center of Tenshin shopping district. No parking lot on site, but the hotel works with a nearby underground parking lot for a discounted rate of 1000yen per night, only about 200m walk away. Our room was very spacious and functional, and the bed was just the perfect amount of firmness. If you’re in Fukuoka for purely shopping and food I would highly recommend staying here.

A taxi to the hotel cost 2500 JPY. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring. There's a convenience store right downstairs and another one across the street. The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, and Tenjin Bus Center is reachable in about 10 minutes.

Very near hakata station, so location very convenient. Price very expensive because we stayed saturday. Room smells cigarette,  no choice because they dont have non smoking room available.  Staff were all kind and helpful. Breakfast not so impressive,  it was a set Japanese style. I was thinking it's the same with Richmond naha were bfast was very good, a typical buffet style with free ice cream but here only ste mebh for breakfast.  I will stay again if lucky to get a better price

My husband kept praising my choice of this hotel. First, the location is excellent, right by Tanukikoji, making shopping incredibly convenient. Second, the lobby offers complimentary toiletries that are surprisingly comprehensive – everything from makeup remover and facial cleanser to toner, lotion, face masks, bath powders, teas, and coffee. It's incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the quality is superb. They have various fruit salads, a wide array of Japanese dishes, and the salmon is very fresh. In the afternoon, there are free alcoholic beverages and drinks. After a day of shopping, it's so relaxing for the family to enjoy some drinks, beer, and a chat.  What's more, after we'd already left the country, my husband realized he'd left his phone at the hotel. The hotel staff helped us locate it via email, and we're so grateful. This hotel made our entire trip feel incredibly warm and provided top-notch service!

The room was a decent size; we had no trouble fitting our two suitcases. My only minor complaint is that the bed was quite small. The facilities were well-equipped. I've stayed at several Richmond hotels before and have always been satisfied, which is why I booked their Sapporo branch this time too. It offers excellent value for money, and they provide a full range of amenities, including skincare products and face masks, so I didn't even need to pack my own. The location is great, very close to Sapporo Station, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping.
