This hotel offers incredible value for money. I booked two rooms last minute for Chinese New Year, and the price was fantastic. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and elegant the lobby was. You can tell the staff works hard to provide high-quality service and build a good reputation. They offer valet parking, complimentary snacks, and small gifts. Since I was traveling with a baby who needed to nap daily, they even allowed early check-in and late check-out. I had just come from a five-star hotel that cost four times as much, but honestly, I didn't feel any drop in quality because both the facilities and service far exceeded what I paid for. The only minor downsides were that the curtains weren't blackout enough – the curtain rod was set too far in, letting light leak from the top – and the soundproofing wasn't great.

Pet breakfast: Includes meat, egg yolk, and broccoli. My pet pretty much finished it all, very good.
Pet welcome pack: Small snacks, poop bags, and cleaning gloves – very thoughtful.
Twin Trees Mountain Hot Springs: Although not very large, it has 12 small pools. If it's not too crowded, it's a great place to soak.
Service: The service was excellent; we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a junior suite.
Cleanliness: We booked a pet-friendly room. The room was very clean, and they even provided a dog bed, as well as food and water bowls. You don't need to bring these if you're traveling with a pet.
Environment: Convenient parking and a great location. It's just a short walk to Trees Mountain and a 7-minute drive to Emerald Lake.

Our family of three booked a triple parent-child room. The room was spacious with an open view outside the window. We didn't hear any outside noise during our stay, so it was very quiet. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station, Starbucks, and KFC right downstairs, making it extremely convenient for getting around and dining. The hotel's breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 AM and offers both Chinese and Western options. The Chinese-style mini wontons and Suzhou-style noodles were delicious, and the Ding Sheng pastry was freshly steamed. The Western options were a bit limited, but generally sufficient. The hotel lobby on the first floor also sells various cultural and creative products from the Suzhou Museum, saving guests the trouble of going out to buy them, which is a nice touch. The restaurant on the second floor serves Aozhao noodles and Suzhou cuisine. We ordered a smoked fish plain noodle set, crab roe noodles, and celery and dried tofu, and even a bottle of yellow wine since it was cold. Everything tasted great, and the prices were moderate. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's decor feels a bit dated, and the room furniture is slightly old. It would be perfect if it were newer.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at Scholars Hotel.  Rooms are good and clean, front desk staff members are friendly and helpful, breakfast are good too.  I also like the hot tea and eggs/snacks when I come back to hotel late and hungry, there are also something to eat, which is highly appreciated.

The location is good .  Quiet area with the metro station nearby . 3 stops and you at Suzhou center ( 东方之门） 
Hotel design is very charming and clean. staff is friendly and service good too.  

The breakfast is not so western-ish but at-least had coffee ( : , so all is good .

I stayed in the Tea Rhythm Twin Room. The hotel has a quiet environment and three floors. It is generally good. The room layout is relatively compact. The hygiene services are good in all aspects. The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room is noisy. I can only turn it off at night before going to bed. The breakfast is also very good. There are many kinds. I also had dinner in the evening. The dishes tasted very good. I will consider staying again. The hotel also undertakes wedding banquets. I looked at the menu

The front desk staff was lovely and upgraded my room for free. The room had voice control, was simple yet refreshing, and very clean. Although it's close to the road and can be a bit noisy with the window open, the double-paned windows block out a lot of sound when closed. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for getting around, and there are many restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

The hotel is conveniently located with bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around. The room wasn't very spacious but had all the necessary amenities. On our first morning, the breakfast selection was very limited because a large group of students on a spring outing had checked in, and the hotel didn't replenish the food in a timely manner, which was a poor experience. Things were better the second day. A nice touch is that the hotel offers late-night snacks in the lobby.

The price is right, breakfast is included, it is close to the subway entrance, there are free fruits when you check in, and there is free Coke and Sprite in the refrigerator. It is better than staying in a loft apar**ent by the river. Several families have to stay in hotels when they travel. The loft apar**ent has one room per floor, and you have to scan your face when you check in. There is no breakfast.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property and rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, which made my experience very comfortable.

I initially made a mistake and only booked for three hours, but the front desk staff were very helpful. The front desk lady assisted me in extending my stay for the entire night and kindly offered me a good rate. She was very friendly and accommodating, which I truly appreciated.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return in the future

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Jinling Hotel and across the street from Deji Plaza. The room's decor is simple and comfortable, the bedroom is spacious enough, and while the bathroom is a bit small, it's well laid out. The double-glazed windows provide good sound insulation, so despite being in a bustling area, it's very quiet at night for sleeping. The front desk staff were quite friendly. During the day, there was occasional renovation noise from other floors in the building, but none at night. You have to transfer elevators once on the seventh floor, but this is a minor issue, and overall, it offers great value for money.

Enjoyed the stay! The room was great. It was a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier.

My room was facing the back on a higher level and I could hear a bit of noise from the traffic during the day, but they subsided during the night.

Lots of food options, where a few always had long queues.

A few tourist attractions are within a 30-min walk.
