I deliberated for a long time before choosing this hotel, but the room assigned by Frankie at the front desk upon check-in made me say one thing afterwards: totally worth it. The river view room lives up to its name—an entire floor-to-ceiling window faces the Huangpu River directly, with the Oriental Pearl Tower standing right before your eyes like a close neighbor. As night falls and the neon lights of Lujiazui illuminate one by one, with the light and shadow of the Yangpu Bridge resting on the river surface, at that moment I felt that even without going out, just sitting there and watching the view was already a huge bonus.

I had a rare, wonderful night's sleep. The duvet was fluffy and soft, and the pillows were at just the right height—the kind of comfort that makes you want to stay in bed. I woke up to the sunshine in the morning, went downstairs, and enjoyed a deeply satisfying breakfast with a great variety of options that were warm and hit the spot. Getting around was also a breeze, with subway and bus stations nearby, making travel hassle-free wherever you go.

An immaculate experience that has quietly made it onto my ”will return” list. For those who want to see the night view of the Pujiang River, you can definitely book this with complete confidence.

This time, I came with my parents, husband, and child for medical treatment, and chose to stay at the Sheraton Grand Tai Lake Resort. Overall, the experience was excellent in all aspects. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for getting around. Our whole family felt safe and at ease during our stay.

I'd like to specially mention that a staff member from the Executive Lounge called me. When I checked in, I specifically went to the Executive Lounge to find that staff member who had called me, wanting to express my gratitude and ask for her name. Perhaps she was on a different shift, as I didn't see her. I want to express my thanks to you again here.

The service was very appropriate and considerate, providing us with a lot of warmth during our busy days of medical appointments. We will be back next year for the follow-up appointment, and I hope to receive this kindness again. I will continue to prioritize this hotel.

Coming to Chongming Island for the National Day holiday, I found this high-star hotel that didn't raise its prices. I checked in at 10 AM, and the front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded me to a higher floor. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The restaurant's buffet was decent. It's truly great value for money. If there's one area for improvement, it's that the restaurant's afternoon tea time is too short. It starts at 2:30 PM, and there's no flexibility to start a little earlier. Since we had to check out before 2 PM, we missed out on two portions. The restaurant service could also use some improvement.

The hotel is located by the river, and the lobby can get quite busy with business guests. We were traveling with a child for school enrollment, which made our stay a bit challenging. Manager Yao in the lobby was efficient, warm, and highly professional; she resolved our issues. The cleaning staff on the 8th floor were very enthusiastic and attentive, always ready to help. The noodles and wontons at the Western restaurant were good, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, though it was quite crowded. The room was spacious, the bedding was clean, and the air conditioning was silent. The bathroom was genuinely large with a separate wet and dry area. We had a very pleasant four-day stay; it was an excellent choice.

I really want to commend the front desk staff, Vivian, Roy, and Deeve, for their excellent service during my stay. The check-in process was very efficient, and they patiently and clearly answered all my questions. I had several requests that needed to be coordinated during my stay, and I had called beforehand to have them noted. They didn't just make empty promises; all my requests were met, and they even upgraded our rooms. Today, we had a late lunch at the Chinese restaurant. I contacted guest services, thinking I would be charged extra for a late checkout since it was already past 2 PM. However, July, who answered the phone, thoughtfully extended our checkout by another hour and told us not to rush. My sincere thanks to all of them for their assistance throughout our entire stay.

I had a great stay at Sheraton Pudong. The customer service was exceptional — every time I had a question or needed something, the staff responded right away and made sure everything was taken care of.

The hotel itself was spotless. Honestly, out of all the places I stayed during my three weeks in China, this was one of the cleanest accommodations I came across.

The location couldn’t be better. There’s a subway station right outside the hotel, which made getting around super easy. Plus, food options are everywhere, and the newly opened Walmart nearby was a nice bonus for quick snacks and essentials.

We booked a family room, and my kids loved it. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for us to relax after long days exploring Shanghai.

Overall, Sheraton Pudong ticked all the boxes: great service, super clean rooms, and unbeatable convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

P/S: the official photos are the actual photos of the accomodation. No need for me to add more 😊

I brought my parents to Chongming this time and we chose the Sheraton Chongming Hotel. Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel surroundings are quite open, but the hotel facilities are rather comprehensive. The room itself was spacious, though perhaps because it's an older hotel, things like the TV were a bit dated. However, bathing in the bathtub was quite comfortable. We booked a package through Ctrip that included dinner. We had to queue for dinner, and the restaurant management seemed quite chaotic. Many tables had forgotten dishes and slow service, but luckily, we had better luck and managed to finish our entire meal. Breakfast was also very crowded, requiring a queue. The variety of breakfast items was quite extensive. Basically, overall it was decent. If I come back to Chongming, I would still consider staying at a large hotel like this.

First of all , nobody offer us Bonvoy membership, room smell bad, mini bar not working and we asked to fix it because we have medicine and engineering came and didn't fix it , slippers very very cheap without hotel logo , no espresso machine which is basics now , actually it's not expected service from Marriot chain , to be honest the reception gave me 2 hours late check out once i asked him immediately with high level of attitude , they need to be more professional in hospitality.

Spa service bar code not working
Room service bar code , menu not found
Pool service 7/10
Order taker 8/10
FO 6/10
Restaurant service 6/10
Breakfast v good variety , but repeatable 8/10

I stayed at Sheraton Esenyurt and overall the hotel is nice, but I had some issues with the service.

Some of the reception staff spoke in an unfriendly or slightly rude way, which was uncomfortable. Also, during breakfast, there was confusion and unnecessary checking. At first, no one checked anything, then later we were told we couldn’t eat without payment, which was not clearly explained before.

Since I have been a customer for a long time, I expected a better level of service. Unfortunately, it felt like the service quality has dropped.

This inconsistency and lack of clear communication made the experience stressful and disappointing. I hope the management improves staff communication and overall service quality.

Overall, it's a huge thumbs up! We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel at 10 AM, and to our surprise, they let us check in immediately, which is quite rare for international hotels. The hygiene, facilities, and service all met Marriott's high standards, no complaints there. Plus, the price was relatively reasonable, making it very cost-effective for two people traveling. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, which can take you anywhere, including the airport. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the plaza, and the front desk even offers laptop borrowing. Full marks! 💯

The hotel is surrounded by numerous shopping malls. One of them, which I believe is Watergarden Istanbul, features a fantastic musical fountain and fire show that runs every hour on the hour after 8 PM, lasting for about three songs. It's quite a sight to behold. Also, across from Metropol Mall, there's a live shooting range which is quite affordable if you're interested. However, I wouldn't recommend buying luxury handbags in Istanbul. Even with the tax refund, they often end up being more expensive than in China, and the variety isn't particularly extensive. 😧

Very good breakfast buffet and good service in the restaurant. Poor service at the front desk. Otherwise, it was okay, but nothing special.

This is my second visit at the hotel, I love the 70s ambience especially the grand marble staircase leading up to the reception. The vast chandeliers in the lobby area adds to the overall good impression. There is nothing 70s about the rooms, many overlooking the Creek. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed with all the amenities except for a bathrobe.
Surprisingly, restaurant prices on offer are very reasonable for a 5 stars hotel. Service was excellent throughout.

The Sheraton boasts an excellent location, situated right above the Mall of the Emirates. You can access it directly from the metro via an underground passage. The twin beds were a little on the small side. Interestingly, there's no hairdryer outlet in the bathroom here in the UAE. The view from the window wasn't anything special. The breakfast was good, but after two days, it starts to get a bit repetitive. From outside, you can catch glimpses of the Burj Al Arab and the Burj Khalifa.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – We Wish We Had Stayed Longer!

We stayed at the Sheraton in Dubai for two nights as a family of four, and we honestly wish we had booked a longer stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Jazz at check-in, who made us feel so welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. Every member of staff was exceptional—from the bellhops who helped with our luggage, to the housekeeping team, and the staff in the cafeteria restaurant. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help.

The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was modern, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out in Dubai.

We genuinely couldn’t find a single negative thing about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Dubai.

10/10. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

Staying for 16 days with the family. First week was great bar the meals at dinner. Beach at Hilton was great, the rooms great, location good.
We went half board so we had to eat in a pub type restaurant called speakeasy where people were smoking drinking and playing pool. We attended twice and then stopped. Muslim family and not happy to dine where people watching the football smoking an drinking whilst trying to eat. First time eating the food was bland and we ordered a chicken burger, it was raw so they made another burger but obviously not enjoyable.
Second time the staff put our whole order on someone elses table then after a few minutes took it off their table an put it on ours. (God knows if it was touched or coughed on) We decided we were not going there again.
Spoke to reception who said we can order room service to our room rather than eat at speakeasy. This was great for a few days but the menu never changed and got boring and eating where we slept was becoming un enjoyable.
We then told housekeeping there was an odd smell in the bathroom so he cleaned the bathroom. Smell was still there all whilst having to eat our food in the room. We then complained and they came to fix the smell as it was getting worse. He came and sprayed something in the floor vent. At 2am a few days later we heard a bang and water grushing, it came from a boiler room so we called reception and they sent someone out, he turned the water off but hadnt said so, so in the morning both rooms had no water so we could not take showers and we missed breakfast as they came to fix the issue whilst we waited (no offer of room change either). Tried to go to the hilton beach as had for past 9 days and they said its now chargable, nobody informed us of this change and they said they only just found out but then this should have been stated on arrival that its not normality and can change any day instead just go and take a towel and go to the public beach on the sand as theres no beds!
Pool bar not open so you have to order from the lifeguard who calls room service and waiting to get a drink of water in the heat, which is not sign posted so you would not know. You just think the pool bar is closed as its shutter down.
So thankful for Shaban an his team who truly looked after us with food and we attended his restaurant on the 2 days it was allowed to open, apart from that the food was not good. Highly recommend Shaban so professional caring sympathetic and respectful to our needs. He needs a promotion and pay rise as he goes above and beyond for the care of visitors!
On day of leaving we went to get a quick lunch at jones grocery and the lady said i have to check if you missed any meals to see if your eligible to eat! We said we have missed a few so its fine, had us waiting a while which became ridiculous and embarrassing so we just left.
Met with guest relations and didnt get any sympathy or an apology for the inconveniences caused which led me to make this complaint. I totally understand the situation in Dubai with closures and staffing as i am a frequent visitor but i do not feel we were completely not respected not taken care of correctly and my children did not have a good time at the hotel.
Unfortunately i feel as though i would not stay here again.

Booked an apartment, it was more like a studio. If you don't stay somewhere nice in Dubai, you won't enjoy yourself properly; only with good accommodation can you truly experience the beauty of Dubai! 😁 The room was very spacious, with one bedroom, a living room, and two bathrooms. The sofa was a sofa bed, which my daughter treated like a trampoline. The room also came with a full kitchen setup.

The hotel's pool is outsourced, and the staff's attitude was so-so... The view was average, and the area was quite small. Coming straight from the Ritz-Carlton, the Sheraton's pool left me a bit disappointed... The water was a bit cold, and we left within half an hour. Hotels in Dubai don't provide disposable bathtub liners, which honestly could be a new business opportunity, haha~
