The hotel is very conveniently located close to the metro. However, the room I was assigned was not very satisfactory, as both the bathroom and bedroom had a musty smell. I went to the front desk to request a room change, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked that day, so they were unable to accommodate my request. As a result, I had to purchase an air freshener and handle the issue myself.

On the last night of my stay, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the entire floor. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, so there should not have been any cigarette odor in that area. However, the smell was extremely noticeable, and it even spread into my bedroom.

The hotel is 5 mins walk from Sugamo Station that has both subway and JR trains, which makes it a good area to live in. There are shops and restaurants all around. The hotel is clean and provides free bottles of water, though the water from the tap is suitable for drinking. The staff is friendly and helpful, both English speaking and non-English speaking.

The twin room size was a pleasant surprise! For this price in Tokyo, the room was quite spacious. The beds were about 1.2 meters wide, and I could easily open a 28-inch suitcase and a 24-inch front-opening suitcase with plenty of room to walk around. There was even a washbasin outside the bathroom, which was very convenient to use. The room cleanliness was good too. For getting around, it's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway entrance. Even with luggage, it's just a 12-minute walk to the bus stop for airport buses to both airports, making transportation very convenient. It's also a little over a 10-minute walk to JR Nihonbashi Station.

Staying at this hotel alone was an absolutely perfect experience! While the overall space isn't huge, the clever Japanese design really shines through. The layout is incredibly well-planned, allowing plenty of room to open up two suitcases comfortably, and the storage areas are a thoughtful touch. For a solo traveler, it never felt cramped or restrictive.

The cleanliness throughout the entire room was astonishing. From the bedding and tabletops to every corner of the bathroom, everything was spotless. The towels, toiletries, and other amenities were neatly arranged, and this meticulous attention to detail really put me at ease.

The location couldn't be better. It's just a short walk to the tram station, making daily commutes, sightseeing, and dining out super convenient. Plus, there are three convenience stores and a drug store nearby, so you can easily grab late-night snacks, restock travel essentials, or pick up daily necessities in one go, without any detours. It's truly ideal for solo travelers.

The front desk staff were also very attentive, communicating smoothly and friendly. Both check-in and check-out processes were incredibly quick. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. For a solo trip to Japan, choosing this place is a no-brainer – highly recommended!

This was my second stay, and I was very satisfied.

**Service:** Excellent, absolutely excellent! I had a bit to drink the night I checked in and forgot my wallet at the front desk. I got a fright when I woke up in the morning, but when I went to the front desk and explained, the staff member kindly returned my wallet and even asked me to check if any money was missing! Japan really excels at service.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Emisia. The location is super convenient. Very close to Tachikawa Station, with Lawson and 7-Eleven right next door, and Donki just across the street. Finding food around the area was also very easy. Such a strategic spot!
The room was comfortable and quite spacious by Tokyo standards. The bed was cozy and everything was clean. Overall, a great stay.
All the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. I accidentally broke a wheel on a chair and reported it, but they kindly reassured me saying “daijoubu, daijoubu.” So sweet 🥹
Amenities were also complete. Highly recommended!

Although the space is not big but all you need is completely prepared. I like the clothes spray prepared by hotel, is sweet because I can spray after eating big smell meal like sukiyaki etc
And all the staffs are friendly also!

Let's do the sad thing first. The room is small but tells you on the reviews, 
The breakfast you have to leave the hotel and go to a restaurant over the bridge to a set menu place. Sadly I'm it does not cater for veggies, it was beef or salmon.
We didn't get a refund either.
The washing machine was brilliant, we washed everything before coming home.
The room only gets cleaned every 3 days, which wasn't done on day 3, but think it was a conuncation thing. 
The staff are kind and very helpful. It was real close to both stations you need to get everywhere, including the bullet train.
All in all the place was easy to find and great location for us.

Good price and sooooooo GOOD LOCATION not to far from train station, walk around 3-5 minutes from station. And it easily to take the train to Shinjuku because you haven’t change the train line. The room is small but not the problem but i can’t find the way to close the heaters and open the air conditioner, so i had to open the window at night for the cold weather for good sleeping. 👍🏻 the hotel will be remain in my list for next trip if i’d have plan to visiting Tokyo.

It's been over 10 years since I last visited Osaka, so I specifically booked this hotel nearby. I chose it based on the price, ratings, and reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint – it exceeded my expectations! It offers incredible value for money. It's only a 5 to 8-minute walk from the busiest part of Shinsaibashi. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. The room facilities were better than I expected, and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the top floor, so the view was incredibly open and bright. If I could stay on the top floor again next time, that would be absolutely wonderful.

It's super convenient for catching a concert at Tokyo Dome! There are tons of shops and malls nearby, so shopping and dining are a breeze. I really enjoyed the breakfast; I love natto, and the Japanese rice was delicious, as was the salmon. I prefer lighter meals, and this place was perfect. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again. It's a small place, but it has everything you need. The front desk area isn't big, but it's very clean.

The room is a bit small but there's enough space to open a suitcase, and you can store it under the bed when not in use. The bathroom fan isn't very powerful, so it gets a bit stuffy when showering. Everything else is great, the location is excellent, and it's super convenient that the front desk can receive packages for guests.

I love the location being close proximity to a subway and Shin Osaka station, so convenient if you are doing a day trip to Kyoto. The area is not as busy as Namba or Tennoji which I like. Streets are wide and pavements are in good condition so no issues carrying your luggages. Also lots of konbini and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is quite new and will stay again next time I visit Osaka.

Had a fantastic stay! While the hotel is a bit of a walk from Tennoji Station, about 10 minutes, there's a slight uphill section that can be a bit challenging with luggage. However, the hotel itself is excellent. The room was much larger than a hotel I stayed at in Tokyo for 800 yen a night, with a comfortable bed and a desk. The bathroom was even slightly bigger than a standard one, and besides the shower, the hotel also has its own public bath, and provides yukata (Japanese robes), which was a lovely touch. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The hotel's in-house travel magazine was also a great read, offering a very enjoyable regional breakdown of recommended dining, entertainment, and attractions in Osaka and Kyoto. Highly recommend!

Facilities: The facilities are excellent, with an ice machine, vending machine, and a large public bath. Service: The staff can speak English and Japanese, and they provide multi-language brochures for local attractions. Hygiene: The room was clean and well-stocked with amenities.

The front desk service was quite good. Even though the price was affordable, the room size wasn't small. Transportation isn't super convenient; it's about a 5-minute walk to the subway station. However, a taxi to Osaka Station is only around 1000+ yen, so no need to worry too much if you're carrying luggage. The air conditioning in the room was quite dirty; I hope they can improve that.

i booked so many times here! i'd prefer solo trip if i want to stay more than a day. cuz single room much better! hehe.. i tried all rooms. single, couple and family. all were good! even the single and couple room kinda small, but we were good and it was still comfortable for us. recommended to all who has short trip in KL! i sometimes drive, they have their own parking (free) but i prefer to park outside because the parking kinda creepy for me as a girl.

Stayed at room 304. Sound isolation is not that great, you can hear the dogs barking. Smell isolation is not great as well, I think there's a restaurant below the hotel, you can smell the food at times. 

Daily makeup of the bed and toiletries is non existent as well. But I ain't complaining about the price if you plan to stay for 2 to 3 days. Alot of shops located around the hotel. Location is great.

Its a good location for solo traveller , the place is near to shopping mall and there are also various food place that we can go , I highly recommended these place for people who love to travel
