We returned to Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk for part of our honeymoon stay, and it was nothing short of amazing. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the team went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were surprised with a romantic setup in our room, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully modern, and incredibly comfortable — we genuinely had the best night’s sleep. Sofitel The Obelisk continues to exceed expectations, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible time at Sofitel Downtown. The staff were incredible warm and welcoming - the receptionist even surprised us with a room upgrade. It was the perfect gesture after arriving in Dubai after midnight. Even though the main pool was out of service (for good reasons, it’s summer) we were still able to access another pool to cool off. The location is excellent, super close to the air conditioning walkway to Dubai Mall. The hotel itself is luxury! We’re so glad we stay. Thank you so much to the team, especially Nanda who is an absolute superstar. We’ll be back!!!

Great location on JBR2 overlooking JB beach. Rooms were very quiet and bed was huge and really comfortable, must have been the wife snored her head off. Stayed in a Luxury Sea View room overlooking the whole of Jumeriah beach and Dubai wheel.
Excellent choice of food for breakfast , caters for every nationality.
Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. 
Loads of places to eat just outside the hotel along Jumeriah walk and across from beach.
JBR2 Metro station only a 5 min walk from hotel.
Air con was great .
If I stay in Dubai again I wouldn't hesitate staying here it has everything we needed.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Sofitel The Palm Dubai Resort & Spa. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The resort is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning views of the Palm. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort, making my stay truly relaxing.

The dining options are exceptional, with a wide variety of restaurants serving delicious cuisines from around the world. The breakfast spread was outstanding, full of fresh and high-quality choices. The spa and wellness facilities are world-class, offering a sense of peace and rejuvenation.

What truly stood out was the exceptional service – every staff member was attentive, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a memorable experience. Whether by the pool, on the beach, or at the restaurants, the hospitality was flawless.

Sofitel The Palm is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai and will definitely be returning on my next trip.

We traveled with our 14-year-old child and booked a family connecting room. Each room is relatively independent. The room is decorated simply and tastefully, the faucets are all Grohe, and the bedding is great. The hygiene is very good. The air conditioner is quiet and the temperature is suitable. The front desk and restaurant, including the room cleaning staff, all speak good English and communicate smoothly. Very polite,
The breakfast place is not big, the coffee is delicious, and the croissant Madeline is very delicious. It is a stone's throw away from the Arc de Triomphe, quiet in the hustle and bustle.
Plan to come again in the summer!

I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel.
There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩
But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with.

They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like.
Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway.
The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant.
For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly.
It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead.
The staff here are very kind, but apart from that, I have to be honest about what really matters to me.

I do appreciate the room upgrade, 
but truely the hotel facilities are disappointing.

There is a bar facility on the first floor of the hotel, which is available for daily watching during the European Cup. The bar service is quite good and highly recommended. In addition, the front desk staff is a little slower, but very attentive and professional.

What is the experience of a five-star hotel without heating on a day of 10 degrees to 8 degrees? It really happened to me, and it was a Sofitel. Anyway, I caught a cold directly on the second day after staying, and the windows were closed tightly. The equipment Everything else is nonsense. I complained to the front desk the next day. Anyway, the attitude was very sincere, but the problem had occurred and the facilities were very backward. The front desk service was very enthusiastic and communicated with me from the perspective of the guest. Anyway, it is a five-star hotel in Paris. It's really hard to describe

I booked a two-night stay at the Sofitel on short notice because I had business in the area. The hotel's overall style is French, and the public areas are quite beautiful. I booked a Deluxe King Room, which was spacious and airy, and both the bedding and toiletries were excellent. The front desk attendant was very enthusiastic; she not only happily arranged an early check-in but also upgraded my room. Registering my license plate allowed for free parking. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and my father really enjoyed it too. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Hailun Road Metro Station, and a 10-minute drive to the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower, making it incredibly easy to get around and sightsee. A very pleasant stay overall!

French Elegance and Thoughtful Service, Both Outstanding!

For my trip to Shanghai, I chose the Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao's Superior King Room. The 44 sqm space, with its modern French decor, was both elegant and sophisticated; I was captivated by the exquisite ambiance the moment I walked in. The absolute highlight of the room has to be the Sofitel's exclusive bedding. The mattress was just the right firmness, paired with soft linens, instantly melting away my travel fatigue and ensuring a deep sleep every night.

What truly deserves the highest praise is the hotel's customer service! I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and after reporting it, the staff responded immediately. They were patient in their communication and efficient in their resolution, with no excuses or delays whatsoever. Jenny from the Executive Lounge made me feel genuinely at home.

I'll definitely be back!
