Exceptional Stay, Unforgettable Service. Exceptional service provided by the hotel staff especially Mr. Ben & another female staff provided prompt assistance when my mom lost her way on the way back to the hotel. They immediately take action to contact the police & driver which makes my mom safety back to the hotel. Really helpful & efficient service.

Mr. Yut assist to book the taxi for us when we depart to airport. The staff's collective commitment to excellence was palpable, guarantees my return and my highest recommendation.

Somerset Sukhumvit 71 is a well-maintained property with a modern and clean design. The building and common areas are kept in excellent condition, giving a fresh and comfortable feel. The rooms are minimalist, spacious, and properly maintained, offering a cozy and stylish stay.

The facilities are excellent – the swimming pool is clean and relaxing, the gym is well-equipped, and the breakfast/lunch bar provides a good variety of food in a pleasant setting. Staff are professional, friendly, and communicate well in English, making the service smooth and welcoming.

In terms of location, it is a little less convenient as it is quite far from public transport. However, it’s easy to get a Grab or Bolt for transport. On the positive side, there are Muslim street shops nearby, which is a plus for guests looking for halal food options.

Overall, Somerset Sukhumvit 71 offers great comfort, service, and facilities, making it a solid choice despite being slightly away from main transport lines.

It’s my 2nd time staying at this hotel, and although there were a few hiccups this round, overall it was still a pleasant and enjoyable experience!
The hotel staff remain as welcoming and helpful as ever. I’m absolutely obsessed with the TAO BIN beverage vending machine at the lobby!
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a 2-in-1 washing machine and dryer, as well as a microwave — perfect for daily convenience. However, we did encounter an issue with the dryer during our stay. The maintenance technician spoke little to no English, which made communication quite challenging, and we weren’t entirely confident that he knew how to resolve the issue.

Thankfully, the front desk care team quickly stepped in and efficiently arranged for us to move to another room within 20 minutes. They spoke good English, were patient, and handled the situation very professionally.

Once we moved to the Executive Two-Bedroom Serviced Residence, everything worked perfectly, and the rest of our stay was smooth and comfortable.
Despite the minor inconvenience, the staff’s responsiveness and warm service made our stay a great one overall.

Service apartment was very clean and spacious. Most importantly it’s quiet and was a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of BKK. Free shuttle service to nearby train service.

Hotel is clean, spacious room and very well maintained! The personnel was very helpful, when I couldnt get a hold on to a taxi via Grab to the airport they came to me and offered to find a taxi for me which was even cheaper than Grab. Would definitely come back next time!

The hotel is conveniently located with excellent facilities, including a gym and swimming pool. The apartment itself is very spacious, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils (though you'll need to purchase your own condiments). It offers a great view and even has a washing machine. For anyone planning an extended stay in Bangkok, this serviced apartment is highly recommended and offers fantastic value for money.

Everything was great, and the location was excellent. The hotel had a lot of Korean guests. The only issue was that I noticed the price dropped by 20% when I still had the option to cancel for free and modify my check-in date. I could have easily canceled and rebooked, but there were no rooms available on the 4th. When I tried to negotiate with the hotel to shorten my original booking, they surprisingly refused. In the end, to avoid further hassle, I reluctantly paid an extra 1500 CNY. It left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I've always stayed at Ascott properties and never expected such an underhanded move.

This hotel was absolutely unreal. From the moment we arrived, we were approached with polite and kind attitudes not the staff, offered a medicinal tea during our wait and patiently assisted in locating am ATM to retrieve cash for a deposit. Every instance of our arrival and departure from the hotel for our day to day activities followed by polite greetings from the front desk staff.

The view was beautiful, and the service apartment came supplied with several household objects including cooking pots, pans, and utensils. It was also equipped with a microwave which was very convenient.

The location which just a 15-20 minute drive from Old Quarter, and still convenient enough for exploring by walking. There were several authentic shops and restaurants nearby which made for easy access to great meals and snacks during daily activities. I would highly recommend a stay with this hotel.

A Coffee shop and a convenient store is nearby the hotel. Location of the hotel is easy to go any place in the city.

Hotel room is big and clean. We need to have brwakfast at a restaurant 20 meters away from hotel, npt so many choices.

The experience is good.
Check in - smooth and fast
Lifts - I believe there are at least 5 lifts thus no long waits.
Rooms: spacious and clean.
Toilets - water pressure is strong and hot water is good. 
Location - lots of eateries nearby. the lamb skewers opp is really good. easy walk to COCOPark and its safe to walk from COCOPARK to the Hotel even from 2am - 6am after drinks.
Lots of Compliments but one thing that i realize which is also the last night.. saw cockroaches at the kitchen and saw them sneak into the bottom of the knife rack. 

Overall a 8.5/10. The rooms ain't cheap thus the expectations are high.

The staff, including the front desk and cleaning crew, were friendly and provided excellent service. I was very satisfied with the room's soundproofing and the convenience of having a washer-dryer. The location is superb with convenient transportation. Facilities are well-equipped, and the hygiene was spotless. Extremely satisfied!

Somerset Wanxia is located relatively near to the Shenzhen airport. My first impression was the cleanliness, and pleasant ambience that was created. Reception is in the 21st floor. Friendly and pleasant staff helped to check in quickly as it was already late in the evening. It has all the amenities a solo traveller might need… gym, yoga room etc. It also has a direct access to B1 which lead directly to the Metro. And crossing the road, access to 24 hours Lawson, local fruits stalls and eateries. For travellers who enjoy moments of peace and tranquility, this is the go to place. It’s not a hotel but a services apartment. So one can enjoy the washing machine, microwave etc within the comfort of your room; and also the use of the bath tub. it is located ~40 min from 东门老街，～30min from 华强北 via DiDi. Want to order takeaways even in the wee hours of the morning? Somerset uses a robot to deliver your food / night snacks straight to your room! You don’t even need to step out to collect. As someone who is sensitive to cigarettes smoke, the entire place is very pleasant and there aren’t any cigarettes smell; very suitable for those who doesn’t like the smell of cigarettes. Request for a high level room (up to 20th floor) to enjoy the night view of Shenzhen. The staff have been very helpful and patient - special mention to Kathy and Frank whom had made my stay a delightful one; and also Kelly whom I could see trying to continuously improve the customer experience so that all guests can feel welcome and have a delightful stay at Somerset Wanxia. Definitely my preferred choice of accommodation in Shenzhen. Thank you!
