This was my first time staying at this hotel in 2015, and I've been here a total of 4 times. This year, we only stayed for 3 days; we decided to try different places. Previously, the hotel was mostly Germans, with some Europeans, Russians, and locals. This year, it was mostly Arabs – affluent and cultured, which really surprised me.

The food is simple, nothing fancy. There's beef, chicken, sometimes fish, and tasty salted fish for breakfast. Various side dishes, standard pastries, and desserts. Lemonades and juices are from cartons. Ice cream is available at the bars from 12 PM to 5 PM. Cocktails are made everywhere with local alcohol, but you can buy imported drinks. The cocktails at the lobby bar are the best, and they also have various iced drinks. They change daily – water with oranges or cucumbers, apple and orange juices, and cold coffee. Sometimes there are cakes and pastries.

I was with my 3 children. We had a family suite, though I'd call it more of a junior suite. The adult room is standard, and the children's room is small with two beds, a table, and a small window to the corridor. It's clean, towels are white, and the mini-bar is refilled daily. There's no refrigerator, I don't know what it's called, more like a cooling display case.

The pools are clean. The kids swallowed some water, but we had no issues, and we always wash and sanitize our hands before eating. Children who can't swim are only allowed in the pool with armbands. Without them, they can only go into the pool with the ship and a designated area on the other side of the hotel. The aqua park is good for kids and adults; our backs didn't get scratched. There's nothing for toddlers. There's a lifeguard at each pool, and they monitor well. There's a rooftop pool, but it's 18+, so we couldn't go.

There's animation, but we didn't participate.

We didn't go to the hotel's beach this year. Last year, we didn't like it.

There's a show every evening, but the kids are small, so we went to bed after the mini-disco.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and friendly.

The all-inclusive package truly meant we didn't have to leave the hotel at all. Our stay was incredibly comfortable; snacks and drinks were replenished daily, and there were evening performances with unlimited beverages. The beach was right downstairs, and the hotel offered a wide range of entertainment options. It's definitely a place worth staying for several days, especially if you're traveling with kids – it's exactly where you should be for a vacation! We checked in on Valentine's Day, and the romantic atmosphere was absolutely perfect!

If you’re looking for the ultimate place to relax your mind and recharge your soul, look no further than Steigenberger Hotel Resort Gold El Gouna. From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of peace and luxury. The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking –, stunning views, and beautifully designed spaces that make you feel like you’re in paradise. 🌊☀️

The food? 🔥 10/10 – every meal was cooked to perfection, with so much variety and flavor that every bite felt like an experience. Whether it’s breakfast with fresh pastries and exotic fruits, or a gourmet dinner with world-class dishes, this resort sets a new standard for culinary excellence.

The service? 💯 Simply amazing. Every single staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, to the restaurant staff – everyone was so helpful, attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. It’s rare to find such consistently outstanding service.

The rooms are elegant, spacious, and spotless, with everything you need for total comfort. The resort offers so many relaxing spots – from the private beach areas to the stunning poolside – perfect for unwinding with a drink in hand and just enjoying the calm vibes.

The all-inclusive hotel only accepts adults aged 18 and above, so there won't be any noisy children running around. It's suitable for adults who like a quiet and relaxing vacation. You can also enjoy the facilities and restaurants at the other two hotels in the same group, but the best restaurant is still the one inside Lifestyle itself.

Steigenberger Resort Luxor | My Honest Review 🌴

My stay at the Steigenberger Resort Luxor was, overall, very pleasant and offered great value for money. The hotel's general ambiance is excellent; the public areas are well-maintained, and the garden, pool, and the atmosphere by the Nile are all very comfortable. For a five-star hotel in Luxor, I believe its overall facilities and environment are quite competitive.

The room was comfortable and clean. Although some of the facilities show their age, they are still well-maintained. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, saving time when visiting attractions like Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple.

I also tried the hotel's Lebanese restaurant. The dishes were generally good, but one shrimp dish was quite disappointing. The texture of the shrimp was noticeably tough and dry after grilling, with almost no juice. It didn't live up to the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel restaurant at that price point. I don't have an issue with using frozen shrimp per se, but the key is that the final quality didn't match the price.

I reported this issue to the restaurant manager at the time, but the subsequent resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory. Given that the restaurant is not cheap and positions itself as a five-star hotel restaurant, I believe guests are willing to pay more for the ambiance and service, but they should also receive ingredient quality and culinary expertise that match the price.

However, I must give special praise to the waiter, Abdallah. His service attitude throughout the meal was excellent – enthusiastic, polite, and very patient. Even after we reported the issue with the dish, he maintained his excellent service, which prevented the overall dining experience from becoming terrible because of that one dish. His service truly deserves commendation. 👏

Putting aside the minor hiccup at the restaurant, the hotel's stay experience itself was very good. With its pleasant environment, comprehensive facilities, and great value for money, it remains a hotel I would highly recommend in Luxor. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to the quality of its dining and the details of customer complaint handling in the future, and also acknowledge employees like Abdallah who diligently serve guests. This would make the overall experience even more complete. 🌅

An absolutely perfect hotel stay! In Luxor, it's incredibly important to stay at a safe and friendly hotel, and I'm so grateful for the warm and welcoming service from two receptionists, Catherine and Magda. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness filled me with excitement for my trip!

During check-in, Catherine eagerly shared all of the hotel's facilities and provided me with a hotel introduction in Chinese, which helped me quickly get acquainted with the property. After I checked in, she also checked if I was satisfied with my room. I want to express my gratitude again for her exceptional service.

The gentleman at the luggage storage was also very friendly and asked about my luggage and check-in needs in Chinese.

When I was scammed by a carriage driver outside, I contacted the hotel's front desk. They very quickly dispatched security personnel to ensure my safety, and the two carriage drivers who were trying to scam me promptly left.

While swimming, the staff promptly laid out towels, and drink orders were taken with enthusiasm and speed. Everything was so friendly.

In summary, it was a perfect trip and a perfect hotel. I am extremely satisfied.

The location so nice to had a vacation but the price over Eid vacation was too high, service in general good but room service so bad and nothing there you need to ask them for everything like shower gel, towels, slippers, dental kit and all items, and they cannot handle the load of Eid.
Rooms so small not fit for small family even and we took the classic room with king bed and balcony.

The beach 8 minutes walk from the hotel since it’s shared with another hotel which is bad thing since you need to walk 8 minutes to reach the next hotel and another 8 minutes to reach the beach.

The food is another story it’s really bad bad bad and seems there is cutting cost or something i am not sure since the chef and stuff was nice and managing well.

Book without food it will be better there is near by Mall you can eat and buy your stuff it’s 5 minutes walk far in the car.

There is no activities daily while they informed us there are on daily bases.

Parking available inside the village in front of your room.

Book online better than the hotel prices.

Note: the room not fit for US chargers 🔌 so bring your adapter with you.

I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help.” “A special thanks to Rehab and Safwat at the reception for their outstanding hospitality and kindness I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again.”
