A fantastic stay at Steigenberger Aqua Magic! The resort offers a perfect mix of relaxation and fun with its amazing water park, clean pools, and private beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. The food is delicious with a great variety, and the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. I really liked the hotel's spacious grounds, which include a beautiful garden, a flowing artificial river, and large swimming pools, one of which has warm water. The beautiful beach has two restaurants and cafes. Various activities are offered. We spent a very lazy time. The waiters working on the beach quickly brought coffee and cocktails. Bottled water is always within walking distance. The Steigenberger hotel chain offers access to restaurants from their line located nearby (Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean, etc.), all free of charge. The atmosphere is very calm. In the evening, there is live music in the huge lobby. The hotel is located on a secluded alley with its own shops and a pedestrian area, beautifully decorated for the New Year. The room is spacious, with separate sleeping and living areas, and a private balcony with a sun lounger. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. The service is unobtrusive; I would even say well-trained. The food is wonderful, there's everything you could want. The buffet system doesn't limit your cravings. In short, I highly recommend it.👍

The hotel is very beautiful, showing off the beauty of the sunrise over the Red Sea. There are three swimming pools, which are large and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is of high quality, especially the buffet. I hate buffets, but this high-quality and extremely rich buffet can last for several days.

It's great that it's only for adults. You can use all the other hotels and restaurants of the same hotel group for free, all of which are 5 minutes away. The beach belonging to the hotel is very small. There are not enough sun loungers in the pool area. The service is great.

I believe this would be my favorite hotel no matter how many years pass.

My trip to Luxor was fantastic, largely thanks to this hotel. Located on the east bank of the Nile, it's not super close to the city center, requiring a taxi, which contributes to its peaceful ambiance. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the public areas and gardens are beautifully maintained. The main restaurant and pool face directly onto the Nile, offering stunning views of hot air balloons rising over the West Bank in the mornings and breathtaking Nile sunsets in the evenings. My city-view room had a balcony overlooking the lobby garden. While the room's facilities were quite retro, the lighting dim, and the AC a bit noisy, the bed was large and incredibly comfortable. The bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak, and bottled water was replenished daily (though you have to ask for toiletries). Overall, the service was excellent. Staff were proactive in helping with luggage, and getting a taxi was incredibly convenient – just register the license plate at the front desk for access through the gate. Finally, a special thank you to Walid. My suitcase was damaged, and Mr. Walid proactively came to my room with tools to help repair it, all while engaging in a friendly chat. His warm and attentive service was deeply appreciated, as was the service from every staff member at Steigenberger. Luxor is a beautiful place. Visiting its magnificent sites and meeting such kind people made me incredibly nostalgic. I will definitely be back.

This is a very nice hotel located centrally in Luxor and only a very short distance from sites such as Luxor Temple. The room and facilities were lovely, and all the staff members were excellent and could not do enough for you. We love the pool area and the views to the Nile were stunning. Restaurants were good, we tried them all. Superb hotel

We booked a two-bedroom suite for three days over the New Year's holidays. As a New Year's gift from the hotel, they upgraded us to a two-story penthouse! It had 5 bedrooms and a massive living room. A big thank you to the hotel for that. The hotel itself shares the building with another 5-star hotel, and the neighboring hotel seems to have a slightly better property.

The Al Hamra hotel grounds are small, with two heated pools, a bar, and a gym. We opted for breakfast, which was quite decent, but if you arrive late, the selection is meager (we're late risers). The beach is about a 100-meter walk across a huge stretch of sand. There were sun loungers and water sports available, but no beach bar. Nobody minded though; we'd just grab canned beer from the poolside bar and take it to the beach.

Al Hamra Mall, with a grocery supermarket and food court, is about a 20-minute walk away.

Overall, I'm happy with our stay. The only downside was the lack of basic kitchenware in the kitchen, just glasses.
