Let's start with the positives: this hotel boasts a fantastic pool with sea views and stunning sunsets. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. Breakfasts are good, and the coffee is tasty. And that's pretty much where the good stuff ends.

Now for the negatives: the rooms are very old and in desperate need of renovation. They're also dirty, with stains everywhere. There are no balconies, and the windows don't open. Nothing dries in the room, and due to poor ventilation, clothes actually get damp overnight. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear everyone yelling in the hallway. The air conditioning units hum very loudly; our first night was awful because, in addition to the humming, there was also vibration – it was impossible to sleep. Even though we requested a quiet room, we were told it *was* quiet. They did change our room to a junior suite, which was clean and well-renovated. The AC unit still hummed in that one, but it was less noticeable due to the room's larger size. Toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and shower caps are only provided once upon check-in and are not replaced.

If you're looking for a European feel rather than something akin to Anapa, do not choose this hotel. Most guests here are Russians on tour packages.

I would only recommend this hotel for a one or two-night stay before a flight.

I was looking for a hotel close to the airport since I arrived late at night. It was quite dark and I got a little lost, but I managed to walk there.

I was upgraded to the new building, and the room was clean and spacious enough! The breakfast spread was amazing, with everything from vegetables and fruits to an egg station, grilled chicken, a bread and waffle station, and even ice cream... there was so much variety, it was fun to choose from. 

What also stood out was how friendly and smiling all the staff were. The value for money was excellent, and I'd definitely want to stay here again if I have a late-night arrival or an early morning flight.

This is my second time staying here. I booked the same hotel when I was in Bali last year. 

Pros: Opposite the hotel there’s a convenient store and within few walking distance away there’s massage and beauty parlour. There’s also a shuttle service to the beach at 4 timing. Overall a very quiet neighbourhood so travellers who enjoy a quieter location may prefer this. 

Cons: sound proofing is bad and if your unit face the street it can be quite noisy. Another bad thing is the hotel corridor has no air condition so there can be quite a fair bit of mosquito that can fly into the room. Also the towels are thin and the toilet looks like it can do some renovation

Overall, HARRIS Hotel Denpasar offers great value for the money. While the building itself is showing signs of age, the excellent service more than makes up for it. Staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The location is also a strong point — convenient and accessible to many key spots in Denpasar. If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel with solid service and a good location, this is a solid choice.

This hotel apartment seemed wonderful at check-in. I even filmed a room tour, thinking 'wow, this is great!' But to my surprise, the next day was a completely different story. There was a huge blood stain on the duvet inside the cover – absolutely disgusting, truly revolting. And then I found a gecko in the wardrobe! I was furious. I reported the situation to the Trip.com concierge, who was quite helpful, but the hotel's response was just so-so, full of excuses and reasons. My overall experience staying here for four days was that the shower pressure was very weak, and at night, the live music from the shopping mall outside was incredibly loud. If it weren't for the hygiene issues and the noise, it would actually be a decent place for a multi-person family trip. This is my very objective review.

This is our 2nd vist to Harris Hotel and Residence Riverview Kuta. I chose this Hotel for our Family of four because we had great time staying in this hotel on our last trip to Bali in January 2026. We stayed in January for 1 week. I booked family room and they upgraded for free to 2 bedrooms family room which is bigger than the other room I booked because it has two bathrooms. Then this 2nd trip on 7th April I booked this Hotel again for our transit before we fly to Bali on the next day. We didn’t get any upgrade this time😉 but it doesn’t matter because we’re only stay for one night. Thank you Harris for lovely stay. We’ll come back again next time we visit Bali.

The Bainbridges from Perth 🇦🇺

This was the first hotel I stayed at upon arriving in Bali, and the service was truly exceptional! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The room was also very clean and tidy. In the evenings, they even offered turndown service with complimentary snacks. The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, the beach, and bars, making it perfect for an evening stroll!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bedding is soft. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My stay exceeded expectations, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!

Nice choice for business travel. The room was quiet, with a spacious work desk. The internet connection was fast and reliable for my video calls. Express check-in but kinda need to wait a moment for the check-out. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and in a great location. However, I had a frustrating experience with my room allocation. Despite booking a Double Bed and non smoking room, I was given a Single Bed room. The staff was polite but couldn't fix the mistake because they were at full capacity.  I hope management ensures this booking mismatch doesn't happen to future guests.

My stay at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who made the entire experience feel very personal and comfortable. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day.

The facilities were also impressive — the gym was well-maintained, the lobby was elegant, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the property. I also loved the quiet atmosphere, which made it perfect for both relaxing and getting work done.

The hotel is in a good location and is convenient for getting around. The room facilities are basic but generally clean. However, the elevator is quite slow. The bathroom towels were a little discolored and should be replaced with new ones. There was also some mold in certain areas of the bathroom, which would benefit from more thorough cleaning and maintenance. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is room for improvement.

I love being in this hotel, the view is so nice and loveable. Vertu Hotel Harmoni is a great choice for a comfortable stay in Central Jakarta, especially if you’re looking for a modern hotel with good value. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed and nice city views. The location is quite strategic, making it easy to reach popular spots like Monas and Kota Tua, although the surrounding area can be a bit busy with traffic. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it’s a reliable and enjoyable hotel, perfect for both business trips and short city getaways. In addition, please replace the television into a smart tv 🙏🏻.

Everythings good, the room is clean, the air conditioning my is cold, the bathroom is clean, but the door is too noisy, everytime other rooms closed the door is too noisy.
