The Guangzhou Hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to Haizhu Square, Tianzi Wharf, Beijing Road, Gaodi Street, and the Pearl River. From the rooms, you can clearly see the Canton Tower! There are also tons of attractions and great food spots nearby. The room facilities are complete, and everything is clean, fresh, and tidy. Definitely worth staying again! 🙏🙏

The lobby is grand and elegant, with a central atrium featuring the 'Hometown Water' rockery and waterfall, complete with koi fish. The guest rooms are adorned with multiple decorative paintings, showcasing the essence of Lingnan ink wash artistry. Huge windows offer views of the Shamian architectural complex. The facilities are well-maintained, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The air conditioning can be individually controlled, providing excellent cooling and heating without any noise. The room also features electric curtains and a bathtub with a TV, making for a very relaxing soak. The toiletries are from a British brand, and the hairdryer is a Panasonic. Both the room and bathroom are spacious, with a separate wet and dry area. The room is cleaned daily, always immaculate and odor-free. The service attitude is excellent; staff help with luggage from the car to the room and deliver water, snacks, and toiletries daily. Nearby is Shamian Park, with lush trees and views of the river and the White Swan Art Center across the way. My wife and I stayed for four nights and were extremely satisfied. It truly lives up to its reputation as China's first five-star hotel and is completely trustworthy!

When we checked in, we have received a room upgrade, which was very nice.  The hotel was was located in close proximity to metro and buses and getting taxi was very easy. The view from 45th floor was nice to see the night Guangzhou.
It was a surprise to receive a great bouquet of roses. And it was great to have fresh fruits everyday!!! Thank you!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Taojin subway station entrance. During Chinese New Year, the lobby was beautifully decorated with festive flair, and the doormen were attentive and welcoming. The hotel facilities are good, the bedding is comfortable, and there's a wide variety of restaurants nearby, with the Friendship Store right next door. The White Swan Hotel is one of Guangdong's oldest five-star hotels and has a real sense of history. Choosing White Swan when you're in Guangzhou is a great option.

Great location, right on Shamian Island as you enter, very close to the popular Starbucks and McDonald's. There's an ancient tree directly opposite the hotel. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially Xiao Zeng who proactively offered us breakfast – highly recommend! 👍🏻 The only issue is that the island can get very congested during holidays. Shamian is a relaxing and unique scenic area, perfect for a leisurely stroll and a cup of coffee.

This hotel is located in Shamian, and it's a more budget-friendly option under the White Swan Hotel brand. Shamian itself is a historical site, once a foreign concession with many impressive European architectural complexes, which are now protected heritage buildings. The hotel offers parking, which is a rare and valuable amenity in such a prime location like Shamian. The breakfast includes delicious local Guangzhou specialties, and the front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are cleaned and tidied daily.

It's a short walk to Yongqingfang, where you'll find beautifully decorated branches of famous restaurants like Tao Tao Ju and Lian Xiang Lou on the main street. Along the Pearl River in Shamian, there's also a 'Lan Kwai Fong' area with a lively atmosphere. Within walking distance, there are many small eateries, so you'll never be short of dining options. On Shanmulan Road, there's Youlian Restaurant, which offers dishes comparable to larger establishments but at half the price.

For shopping, the Thirteen Hongs and Xin Zhongguo wholesale clothing markets are within walking distance. If you take a taxi for about ten minutes, you can reach Wanguo Outlets, a large sports brand outlet mall that sometimes has special sales events. There are also dining options on the upper floors. It's open from 10 AM to 10 PM. If you arrive early, you can usually find parking at the mall; otherwise, navigation can guide you to nearby parking lots.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bath and face towels were thick. Hot water was readily available, and a late check-out until 2 PM was a great perk.

Breakfast offered the basic varieties; it wasn't lavish, but for this price point, especially being so close to the train station, it was quite good.

They have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Here are a few minor downsides: The room size was a bit small, especially the vanity area – if you're a bit on the heavier side, you might find it hard to stand there comfortably. Free parking is only until 2:30 PM (during your stay); after that, it's 12 per hour. It would have been nice if it extended to the day of check-out, though I understand that might be an unreasonable request, haha. The small bedside lamp couldn't be turned off, which slightly affected my sleep.

Staying at the Binhai Tower of the Guangzhou Garden Hotel is also a great option. While some rooms are noted as slightly smaller during booking, the standard garden view rooms are quite spacious at over 40 square meters, complete with a balcony and a bathtub. This particular building has a rich history, having hosted leaders like Premier Zhou Enlai. The grounds are beautiful, with banyan trees, pavilions, and corridors creating a picturesque scene. It's also very conveniently located close to the hotel's main entrance and the Baiyun Tower. I'll definitely choose the Guangzhou Garden Hotel again on my next trip to Guangzhou.

After a three-day trip in Zhuhai, I still chose Guangdong Hotel when returning to Guangzhou. In my opinion, this hotel is excellent in three aspects: great location, impeccable hygiene, and top-notch service. Especially after comparing it with hotels in Zhuhai, I have to give this place extra praise. The hotel is close to many of Guangzhou's attractions, and there are tons of great food options nearby. I tried Lianhualou and Huixingyuan, and a small shop nearby served an amazing ginger milk pudding. The surrounding area has a lively, authentic local vibe, and you can really feel Guangzhou's festive Chinese New Year atmosphere reflected in the flower displays all over the streets. It truly lives up to its name as the 'City of Flowers,' and this hotel perfectly complements the beauty of Guangzhou.

The lobby is clean, bright, and smells wonderful. The front desk staff are polite and professional; check-in was smooth, and they even offered a room upgrade and complimentary bottled water. The room was meticulously cleaned, and housekeeping was very responsive. They were always ready to assist with requests like luggage storage and travel recommendations. Overall, it feels professional, warm, and trustworthy. I highly recommend it to anyone who values cleanliness and excellent service.

The hotel's location is very close to the old town and ancient streets, about a one-kilometer walk. The river view is also beautiful, and the room even has a Gongfu tea set. The hotel's breakfast is definitely worth praising. I'll book here again next time; older hotels really are more reliable.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with good lighting, reasonable layout design and convenient use, and the service staff are warm and courteous. The location is excellent, the entrance is the immigration square, facing the Meijiang River, the view is wide and the scenery is good. During the day, you can go out and turn left to the ancient town. At night, you can take a walk by the river at the door, or you can go to the hotel terrace to see the stars or have a drink. Overall it feels good.

The room was very spacious with a great ambiance and good soundproofing, so we weren't disturbed during our rest. The service was also very attentive, and we even received small gifts like a fridge magnet and a keychain upon check-in – really thoughtful! 

**Facilities:** Besides being well-equipped, the underground parking garage has charging stations, there are USB ports on both sides of the bed, and the shower room, with its wet-dry separation, even has hooks for hanging clothes. So many thoughtful details! Definitely worth commending and recommending!

**Hygiene:** The entire room was very neat and clean.

**Service:** Extremely thoughtful. From check-in to check-out, everything was attentive. They even specially changed our room because of road construction outside.

Environment: A stylish and trendy hotel, perfect for Instagram photos. 🏨

Hygiene: Spotlessly clean.

Facilities: The smart home features were a bit finicky. At night, the toilet would often auto-flush and open its lid even when no one was around. The lights also had a sound sensor, turning on with any noise when I was trying to sleep. Furthermore, the shampoo and shower gel bottles were constantly knocked off by the shower hose and were difficult to dispense. These are areas that definitely need improvement.

Facilities (positive aspects): On the positive side, the bathtub was excellent, complete with disposable bath liners and bath salts. Disposable toilet seat covers and other small amenities showed great attention to detail.

Environment (positive aspects): It was also lovely to enjoy a drink and moonlight on the rooftop in the evening. Both the room and balcony were very spacious, as was the bathroom. The toilet was pristine, with no odd stains, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards.

Environment (location): The hotel's location within a pedestrian street was perfect for shopping and sightseeing. However, parking outside the hotel proved to be a major inconvenience.

Service (overall impression): I specifically chose this hotel because of the White Swan brand, and overall, I had a very positive experience. 👍
