The front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They gave my mom and me a welcome rose each, which was a lovely touch and brightened our day. Seeing that I had two children, they thoughtfully provided two sets of kids' toiletries. All the other front desk staff were super nice too! The doorman at the entrance was also fantastic, promptly helping us with our luggage.

The housekeeping staff were very kind and friendly as well. In my parents' room, they noticed the fruit wasn't fresh and specifically changed it out for fresh fruit from the day. In the evening, there was even peach gum sweet soup for a late-night snack, and any requests for room service were attended to promptly. Service definitely gets a perfect score!

However, the room space was a bit small, and the overall facilities were relatively old. The bathroom exhaust fan seemed to be out of order, and the weighing scale was broken. There wasn't a separate shower, so we had to shower in the bathtub, which was a bit inconvenient (especially not very friendly for older guests). 

But these minor issues didn't overshadow the experience. The hotel's location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. You step out and you're right in front of a scenic spot, with different attractions and various eateries conveniently located on both sides. On the night we stayed, we even stumbled upon the Cui Sheng Sheng Music Corner right outside the hotel, and this wonderful musical encounter made our night even more beautiful. My trip to Kunming was just fantastic! This time, it was just a one-night stay as a transit stop, but next time, I must specifically plan to stay in Kunming for several days.

Originally, Kunming was just a transit city on my itinerary, but I decided to stay an extra day. After a long search on Trip.com, I found this hotel with great location and reviews.

**Environment**: It's very close to Nanqiang Street and has many shopping malls nearby, so going out for food and shopping at night was absolutely no problem. It's also very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to attractions like Cuihu Park and Dounan Flower Market. The lobby is bright and clean, giving off a grand and spacious vibe.

**Hygiene**: It was clean and tidy. You could tell the towels had been disinfected by their feel, though they were a bit stiff, the hygiene was assured. The only minor flaw was dust on the top layer of the bar counter glass, which was more noticeable under the lights.

**Facilities**: Pretty standard, I suppose. I was mostly out city walking and didn't spend much time at the hotel, so I didn't use many facilities and can't really comment much. However, the in-room hardware and software facilities were good, and the bed was very comfortable. What's worth mentioning is the master light switch by the bed; not all hotels have this. This feature is a blessing for those who are sensitive to light when sleeping and those who are afraid of the dark when getting out of bed to turn off the lights – if you know, you know.

**Service**: Excellent and very polite. Everyone greeted me kindly. They personally helped carry my luggage upstairs. The restaurant service was also great; they always maintained a smile and patiently answered customer questions. They even delivered fruit, mooncakes, and small snacks in the evening, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Although it's not the newest or the cheapest, I was very satisfied with the service and comfort. The location is a significant advantage. I would consider staying here again on my next trip to Kunming.

For this trip to Kunming, our family of five specifically looked for a hotel with convenient transportation and close proximity to the pedestrian street. After browsing hotels and guesthouses directly within the pedestrian street area, we found them either too expensive or with poor hygiene, so we eventually settled on Haitain Hotel. It offered excellent value for money and was very clean. We booked three king-sized rooms and stayed for three nights. The hotel is only two metro stops from Kunming High-Speed Railway Station, and it's right across the street from the metro exit. Jinma Biji Archway and the Old Street are also within easy walking distance. From our room windows, we could even enjoy views of the Kunming city streets. The only slight drawback was that rooms facing the main street could be noisy at night due to car horns. However, the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs. Overall, it's a great choice!

Overall, the hotel is great. Firstly, the location is near West Lake and Intime in77; it took me and my child only about ten minutes to walk there. Parking at the hotel is convenient, and the room is very tidy. You can see West Lake from the room. Breakfast is decent, and the staff are very service-minded. Lulu at the restaurant, for instance, asked what I wanted to drink as soon as I entered, prepared it, and brought it to my table. She also promptly cleared unnecessary dishes during the meal.

First off, the conclusion: an incredibly satisfying and great value experience! I slept wonderfully and was truly impressed!

**Environment:** Just like the pictures, the room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It was my first time staying in such a European-style room, and sleeping alone in the king-size bed was pure bliss... You could also choose your pillows, and there seemed to be a complimentary shoe-shine service.

**Facilities:** A little old but very complete. The bathtub even had a TV! There's a gym and a swimming pool.

**Hygiene:** Excellent and very clean.

**Service:** Both the front desk and concierge were fantastic. Storing my luggage was very convenient.

**Transportation:** It's really close to Chengzhan Station on Line 1, right outside the exit. It's convenient for getting anywhere! It's on the same line as West Lake, so no transfers needed. Hangzhou Station is right next to the hotel, and getting to the airport only requires one transfer, taking about an hour. Extremely convenient! If I take the high-speed train again, I'll definitely choose this hotel!
