I absolutely loved the hotel's ambiance; the decor was very charming and tasteful. Although the room didn't feature smart devices, all the essentials were present. The entire room was carpeted, providing excellent soundproofing, which ensured a quiet night's sleep. My mother tends to get up at night, and the small night light in the room made her feel very secure.

The hotel's service was also outstanding. We encountered a minor issue upon arrival, but the staff were highly resourceful and offered several effective solutions.

What's even better is the hotel's superb location, directly opposite Cuihu Hotel and with Huanggongdong Street right behind it – it's absolutely perfect for city walks.

We stayed for three days, and each evening we were provided with bedtime drinks and small snacks. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

This was our second hotel in Kunming. Compared to the dazzling variety of unique guesthouses, an established star-rated hotel often doesn't stand out as much. My husband even echoed my thoughts, saying, 'Let's just go with this one.' At first, I felt that paying over 600 RMB here didn't quite offer the same value or 'Instagrammable' charm as a 500+ RMB guesthouse, and it lacked anything truly special. However, for business travelers or anyone needing a truly good night's sleep, it's an excellent choice. The double-glazed windows provide superb soundproofing, and the hotel's service, bedding, and attention to detail are all quite commendable. I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip, though, as there isn't much to explore in the nearby old streets. For hotel visuals, it's best to check their official photos, as I only took a couple of quick snaps.

My recent stay at Kunming Haitien Hotel truly surpassed all my expectations – it absolutely deserves a glowing review!

First off, the location is truly superb. It's close to many attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient, and taxis are quick and easy to find – absolutely no need to stress about transportation. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the room size was surprisingly generous. While there's an All Seasons Hotel right across the street, Haitien is not only more affordable, but its rooms are nearly twice the size, incredibly bright and airy, ensuring a completely unconfined and relaxing stay for both mind and body. Plus, there are plenty of diverse dining options conveniently located nearby.

The breakfast spread was varied and tasty, catering to different preferences. What's more, they thoughtfully provided complimentary breakfast for children, a gesture that families traveling with kids will truly appreciate. However, what truly stands out is the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented. Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day, and amenities were promptly replenished. They even neatly arranged our shoes that we left casually – such attention to detail is truly impressive! Even more heartwarming, fresh milk was delivered to our room every evening. A cup before bed was comforting and soothing, making us feel right at home. Every staff member, from the service staff to the cleaners, greeted us with a smile, showing professionalism and sincerity in every detail. The service was absolutely excellent!

Parents traveling with children need not worry at all. The hotel has a dedicated children's activity area where kids can weave toys, play ring toss, or make sachets, keeping them thoroughly entertained and allowing adults to relax peacefully. Even more thoughtfully, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to and from the nearby zoo. This saves the hassle of checking routes and finding parking, making the outing experience absolutely seamless and perfect!

Overall, I couldn't fault anything, from the facilities and service details to the excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Kunming and highly recommend it to everyone!

I stumbled upon a discussion about Hangzhou accommodation on Xiaomoushu (a Chinese social media platform). One particular comment mentioned that for 400 RMB, staying at this hotel would be 'absolutely outstanding value' and 'far exceed expectations,' even surpassing many chain hotels of similar star ratings. Although it was just a fleeting comment buried in the thread, I checked Ctrip, saw it was available, and booked it immediately.

Upon checking in in Hangzhou, I found the hotel truly excellent. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, with tasteful and high-quality furnishings. It felt like it was worth far more than the 400 RMB price tag.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby until check-out, I experienced professional service throughout my stay. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the meticulous care from all team members made me feel incredibly welcome. Staff consistently served with a smile, promptly responded to my needs, and the concierge even proactively helped me plan my local itinerary. Their level of thoughtfulness truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located right at Hangzhou Station and is also very close to West Lake. With a subway entrance directly outside the hotel, transportation couldn't be easier. Thumbs up, highly recommended!

Hotel location is good, not very far from attractions. Good service and breakfast! Cleaner lady is very friendly and helpful. 
Downside: it’s very old and needs renovation! The lobby looks dark and old, only four seats at the lobby and mostly occupied. Should have put more chairs for people to sit and rest! Washing machines and the dryer are not functioning well, the weather was hot so we needed to wash cloth often, it took a few hours to wash and dry, very inconvenient!
