JJongaI recently stayed at Hanting Hotel during my trip to [insert city]. While the hotel provided me with a comfortable stay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired.
Firstly, Hanting Hotel's location was superb. It was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible to popular attractions and public transportation. This was a major plus point for me, as I could explore the city effortlessly.
Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted me warmly and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.
My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly.
The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience.
In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort.
One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff.

MMark NMy family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

Some say a hotel is a home away from home. This stay at the InterContinental Changchun High-tech Zone truly made me feel well taken care of.
**Arrival: A Warm Welcome**
The outdoor temperature was above zero (Celsius, implying a warmer-than-expected winter day), and as soon as I entered the lobby, I was enveloped by a warm, pine-scented aroma. The lady at the front desk saw I was holding a coffee and immediately offered me a wet wipe and a portable cup sleeve. This small detail instantly made a great impression on me.
**In the Room: Embracing the View**
Pulling back the curtains, I looked out at the High-tech Zone's evening streets, with traffic flowing like golden ribbons. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite the hustle and bustle outside, it was perfectly quiet inside. A hot bath washed away the dust from my journey. The mattress was just right, neither too soft nor too firm, and I slept deeply that night.
**Culinary Delights: A Taste of Northeast China**
You absolutely must try the steaming hot wontons for breakfast. Sitting by the window, watching the morning light slowly illuminate the city, I felt life was particularly beautiful.
A good hotel makes you fall in love with a city because of one room. Changchun's spring is beautiful, but the hospitality at InterContinental is truly heartwarming.

The location is convenient, and the front desk staff were very welcoming, even bringing us complimentary fruit and yogurt. - Hotel is housed within one of the highest building in Changchun
- Breakfast selection was great and service of staff there was superb
- Room assigned was on 33rd floor with great view of the city
- Room size was big despite having a small window space
- Futuristic and minimalist hotel with robot to send food to your door (deliveries)
- About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54
Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. GGuest UserHilton's brand reputation definitely holds up. The location is excellent, the environment is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is very elegant. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, provided exceptional service. What impressed me most was being able to check the washing machine's status right from my room's TV. The hotel is very close to Xinmin Street, about a ten-minute walk, so you can easily explore it day or night. There's a direct bus from Changchun Station right outside the hotel, and it's just a few hundred meters walk to Cultural Plaza. Plus, there's convenient access to the subway and attractions like Jingyuetan and Changchun West Station. The breakfast selection is rich and high-quality.

ZZhongshanThe room was very new and the bedding was super comfortable. Even though there was subway construction outside, I didn't hear any noise. The breakfast was plentiful, especially the corn and the local sour cabbage soup, which were delicious. The restaurant staff were very polite. The lovely front desk lady upgraded my room to one with a bay window, which made it feel very spacious and bright. It's also very close to 'You Shan' (a mountain/attraction), just a 5-minute walk, so the location is excellent. I'll definitely come back!
