I chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay. Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories. The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay. If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time. I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

Let me give an objective review of my stay at the Meiyuan Light Luxury Hotel. The service was excellent. From the front desk staff to the breakfast auntie and the cleaners, every single employee was smiling and greeted me warmly, making me feel very welcome. This kind of service attitude is definitely what a hotel should offer. Most importantly, the hotel excels in hygiene and cleanliness, meeting even the highest standards. The room was clean and tidy overall, the bedding was dry and odorless, and the bathroom was equally clean, fresh, and free of any smells. I especially liked the TOTO toilet in the bathroom; it flushed automatically with strong power and a fast stream without splashing, which is a great feature. Additionally, the hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Sheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot! Food & Drink 🫖 This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house. Location 📍 This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well. The Room 🛌 The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided. Staff 👩⚕️ The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream. This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is truly unbeatable, making it super convenient for getting taxis and visiting attractions. The room hygiene is top-notch; even the corners are dust-free, and the bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including meats, vegetables, pastries, and drinks, so there's plenty to choose from. The biggest bonus, though, is the entire staff – they are warm and attentive, proactively helping to resolve any issues. My overall experience was fantastic. The price is reasonable, offering incredible value for money. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling!

Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

Highly recommended for self-driving travelers! The hotel has its own underground parking, and it's a very short walk to attractions like Dazhao Temple and the Great Mosque. The service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with a convenience store right outside and an old-brand shaomai (steamed dumpling) shop just a few minutes' walk away. This is my top choice for a stay in Hohhot!

Especially that extra-large bed – the mattress was just the right firmness, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. I got a great night's sleep every single night 🌙 The bathroom's wet and dry separation was a thoughtful touch, and they even provided nice-smelling, scented toiletries. A detail-oriented person like me was thrilled! What surprised me most was the value for money. To get such star-level service at this price point is truly a great deal. The front desk lady was all smiles throughout, making check-in fast and efficient, and she even thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions. The cleaning staff who tidied the room daily were also very meticulous; they even polished the tabletop until it shined ✨ Whether for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice! You can't say the service is bad, because for any feedback, the staff will just smile and say, 'Okay, we'll pay attention next time.' Before I came, I read reviews saying the hygiene wasn't good. My first night's room was okay, but to my surprise, when I checked in again on Thursday and Friday, the room was really dirty. The door felt sticky, and the luggage rack was greasy. I saw the hotel's replies to other guests saying they'd do a deep clean, and this is the result. Their attitude is: 'Okay, we'll pay attention.' Their action: none. Facilities: I paid 5-star prices for a budget hotel room. Hygiene: The second stay's hygiene was not good at all. Environment: Its only redeeming quality is the decent location. Service: The concierge service was the best in the entire hotel—everything else was lacking. Basically, if you come to Hohhot and there are no other comparable options, you're just stuck staying here.

Everything was good, even without a window. The cleaning lady was really nice, and so was the front desk staff. The air conditioning was quite cool too. It just felt a little stuffy sometimes because there was no window, but it was still pretty good overall, hehe.

The hotel is about 4 kilometers away from the highway. The hotel is very convenient for parking and dining. There is a gas station more than 100 meters away from the hotel, so it is a good choice to take a break as a self-driving tour. In addition, hotel services and facilities are also good.
