It was almost 8 PM when we got back from Shantou, and the hotel even thoughtfully called to remind us about check-in. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the highway exit. The room layout was well-designed; though not super new, it was perfectly adequate. Soaking in the hot spring tub on the balcony was a great way to wash away the travel fatigue. It's a shame that guests upstairs were still being loud late into the night, but thankfully we're used to going to bed late. In the morning, you can look down from the balcony and see the hot spring pools; there aren't many, but the environment is lovely. Breakfast was decent too. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Longmen local specialties. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a good rest stop during your travels.

Guest UserCleanliness: The room was quite clean. The king-size bed room could fit a family of four, haha, very good.
Facilities: There's a water park, an infinity pool, a kids' pool, and a lazy river.
Service: I originally booked a room with a bathtub, but then I saw a room with a lazy river and went to the front desk to ask if I could switch. Luckily, one was available, and they let me switch. The experience was really great, and the service was excellent. The kids had a fantastic time, and we adults also had a lot of fun. We even tried parasailing by the sea!

JameswhoPros:
1. Plenty of activities, so you'll never get bored. Of course, just relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze is also a great option.
2. The room faces the beautiful Twin Moon Bay, so it's worth setting an alarm to wake up early and step out onto the balcony to watch the sunrise.
Cons:
1. The room design is really odd. There's no separation between the wet and dry areas. It's the first time I've seen the washbasin directly behind the bed, and shower water even reaches the foot of the bed.
2. The beach directly in front of the hotel has two downsides: first, the water contains a lot of black mud and sand, and second, the sand on the beach is so coarse it hurts your feet.
Other:
If you don't want to go out for breakfast, definitely book a room with breakfast included, otherwise, 108 RMB per person is really painful. Luckily, the butler was thoughtful enough to send over some fruit.

Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong
The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time.
After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!!
The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻
The staff were also so polite and friendly!!
Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were ..
Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining...
Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there.
There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring!
Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings...
I really hope one day I can go again!!
But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Guest UserAn absolutely fantastic stay! The Ramada Hotel boasts an excellent location with unbeatable sea views from the room. The room itself was spotless and odor-free. The service was warm and attentive. The complimentary ferry tickets to Dual-fish Island and water park passes significantly boosted the value for money. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is very convenient.

Guest UserWe stayed at Le Méridien Xiaojing Bay during the short holiday. The hotel is right by the beach, making it very convenient to get around; you can walk to the sea. We booked a sea view room, and the balcony directly faces the ocean, offering an excellent viewing experience. The room layout was sensible, and toiletries were well-stocked. The hotel's swimming pool area is pleasant, with separate sections for adults and children, making it ideal for families.
The service was generally acceptable. Check-in efficiency was decent, though waiting times were a bit long during peak hours. The hotel has been open for a while, so some facilities show a bit of age. Room ventilation wasn't great, and the proximity to the sea meant noticeable humidity. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, including seafood, pastries, and hot dishes, but seating was quite limited during peak times.
The beach downstairs wasn't overly crowded compared to other nearby attractions. Overall, its main advantages are the direct sea views and excellent location, perfect for relaxation and photo opportunities. Guests expecting brand-new facilities should adjust their expectations. For a short seaside getaway in the Greater Bay Area, it's generally worth trying.

The hotel service is very considerate. The front desk guy also patiently introduced the room to me. He also specially processed a new guest VIP, free breakfast and late check-out, which is great! echotravelDuring peak season, it was too crowded, and the service was a bit lacking. Our room balcony smelled like urine, but the cleaning staff was so busy that no one came for over 20 minutes. I also saw some feces on the carpet in the public area on the first floor that hadn't been cleaned up promptly. With so many people, anything can happen...
The main restaurant was full, so we had to go to the temporary buffet on the second floor. Waiting for the elevator also took a long time. The soundproofing in the room was very poor; we could hear fireworks on the beach until past midnight and even the noise of motorcycles revving their engines. The family room only had one bathroom, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, I felt the hotel's facilities and service were inadequate.
The only good thing was the beach; it was relatively flat and convenient for swimming. In the afternoon, it was shaded by the buildings, but in the morning, it was very sunny.

VALERII07The hotel, as always, is superb! 5*! This time, we had the ”pleasure” of staying during Typhoon (July 24-26, 2026). Thankfully, there was plenty to do, but it was scary! The hotel staff were in touch, and I'd like to specially mention Butler Lily (Xiao Liu), who kept us updated on everything! The rooms are spacious as usual, and the breakfasts and dinners are delicious! There's plenty for kids to do: water park, swimming pools, Dinosaur Park, and a game room! Of course, the beach is closed for guest safety at the slightest mention of a typhoon. But overall, this is a great hotel that our family has returned to twice already!

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy, with very new and well-equipped facilities. The only minor issue is that it gets quite busy on weekends, especially the elevators and restaurants.
