Kunshan Hotels with Breakfast

Overall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

The room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

Both receptionists were very friendly and offered tea during check-in. They also kindly asked if I wanted a room upgrade and breakfast. It was a pleasant stay.

Our time at Hotel Zhaoye was lovely! The homestay staff were kind, communicative, and accommodating. They offered Chinese and Western breakfast options, including meatless options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The location of the homestay was perfect for those visiting Zhaozhuang. The staff recommended local restaurants and activities. It was easiest to communicate via Weixin/Wechat or in-person. Would recommend!

The hotel service was excellent. Before check-in, they proactively added me on WeChat to provide reminders and even met me at the attraction entrance to help with my luggage. The hotel's location is perfect; I found it right after entering the scenic area. The interior decor and facilities are also very good, and the hotel's ambiance is incredibly comfortable. It has a courtyard and a tea room, perfect for a few friends to relax, chat, and play cards.

The hotel is located at the intersection of Chengbei Avenue and Huanqing Road. The location is easy to find. Check-in is on the second floor. The environment is elegant, the room facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and there is a midnight snack on the second floor from 21:30 to 23:00! The front desk called us to tell us, which is very considerate! The service is good, the hotel staff are very good, and they all greeted us. Breakfast is also on the second floor. There are many dishes and they are also rich. It is a hotel worth recommending. I will stay in this hotel next time I come here!

During the May Day holiday, my family gathered at the new home and stayed at Huayu Hotel Huaqiao nearby. The arc arc of the corridor, like the misty corridor in Jiangnan, connects the two hotels. It is grand and ingeniously designed. The circular sky dome hollow design echoes the square fountain on the ground. The automatic sensing floor-to-ceiling door opens to show the courtesy of a five-star hotel. The layout of the hotel rooms is reasonable, the lights are diffused and very soft, the tea sets are exquisite, the bathroom space is reasonably designed, the mirrors in the shape of Jiangnan flower windows, the ceramic drum stools and the landscaping of the Central Park outside the window make the stay more comfortable. Thank you for the enthusiastic service of the hotel front desk staff, providing nearby tourist attractions and prompting the nearest subway route. Behind the hotel, through the garden is the Central Park, the garden path, a bright yellow arch bridge jumps out of the spirit, and across the park is the Huaqiao Guangming Road subway station closest to the hotel. The subway is very close to the hotel for green travel during holidays. There is Su Noodles on the first floor of the hotel. Suzhou specialty soup noodles, Kunshan red soup noodles, and other exquisite snacks can be tasted. It is open from 9 am to 10:30 pm. There is also Starbucks, which is designed in Chinese style and rich in colors. I recommend the original croissant, which is not only crispy on the surface, but also has a multi-layered and solid texture. The American coffee is rich and not bland, which is a perfect match. There is a huge lawn in front of the hotel on the right, and we can drive and camp on holidays. Thanks to the hotel staff. The number of guests increases during holidays, and I can see their hard work in person. Thanks to all the staff for their service. Thank you.

This guesthouse, set in a traditional 'Sanheyuan' (three-sided courtyard) structure, offered an incredibly authentic and delightful experience. Despite being surrounded by commercial activity, it was a surprisingly quiet and rustic retreat, truly an oasis of calm in the bustling city. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. A major plus was the breakfast provided, and you could also order lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices, with delicious food. Dining outdoors by the river was particularly charming. Even when busy, the owner maintained an excellent, thoughtful demeanor. Traveling with elderly parents, the owner proactively offered pick-up and drop-off services, which was incredibly heartwarming and thoughtful.

This stay exceeded my expectations; the overall experience was incredibly comfortable. Both the facilities and the service were exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The hotel even has a heated swimming pool, which was a great bonus. The hotel's overall decor is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are clean, tidy, and well-laid out, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with good ventilation and natural light. The bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, and the mattress firmness is just right, effectively relieving travel fatigue for an excellent night's sleep. All basic room amenities are available; the air conditioning provides stable heating and cooling, hot water supply is ample and consistent, and the bathroom's wet and dry separation is very well done, clean, and odor-free, with good quality toiletries. The hotel staff as a whole are very service-oriented, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel at ease throughout your stay. The front desk handled check-in and check-out efficiently and quickly. The staff were professional and patient, proactively offering information about hotel services and local attractions, and readily answering all questions. Highly recommended!

It was an amazing stay. Being an international, English speaking staff and the ease to check in made me honestly fall in love at first sight. The room had a great view of kunshan. The food too was one of the best I have had(breakfast).
