Guest UserGreat for self-driving, it's right off the highway. Parking is easy with a QR code, and I've attached a picture of the overnight parking fee. If you're staying longer than 24 hours, just tell the front desk and they can waive the extra charges on their system. There's a gas station and fast food like KFC nearby. It's also convenient to get to the city center by taking the 300 bus. Both the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent.

Shawn_S.The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable and tidy.
The location is very convenient, close to Oxford city centre, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport.
The hotel has a slightly vintage / traditional style, which gives it some character, though it may feel a bit old-fashioned for guests who prefer a more modern design.
One thing to note is that there is no free parking available, and the hotel does not offer on-site parking spaces. If you’re travelling by car, you’ll need to arrange nearby paid parking in advance.
Overall, a clean and well-located hotel with a classic feel, but not ideal if you’re driving.

marcryuGreat location, easy access to major attractions in Oxford. Love the literary theme of its interior and rooms. Service and concierge staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our graduate twin room was surprisingly spacious and very pretty. Breakfast selections were plentiful and of good standard. Highly recommended if ever in Oxford.

very nice boutique hotel with a good bar and restaurant below. The room nice, clean, minimalist but good furniture and decent shower. Only one complaint - if you are not a fan of capsule coffee (and I am definitely not) and you just want a cup of tea, it's a pain to have to google the coffee machine to work out how to use it when just a simple kettle would have been fine. Just 4 for the location because of the chaos at the Botley road bridge which is going on till this time next year at least! Lovely breakfast menu with good service.

We were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

Guest UserLocated near the train station, it's convenient for getting around, but there's road construction nearby, making it a bit noisy. There's no elevator, but the staff are very helpful and will assist with luggage. The rooms are small but clean and tidy. The breakfast is decent. Overall, it offers good value for money.

The location is very good, in the center of Oxford, very convenient to go anywhere, there is a Lanzhou ramen restaurant downstairs, the taste is very good.
The room with breakfast is booked, the breakfast is very monotonous, not recommended, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around, you can buy anything to eat. And we left early on the last day, and did not have breakfast.
The hotel wins in the location, it is very convenient. The facilities and services are average

I can't even imagine it. Attic, I, a big man of 158cm, bumped my head 6 times in one night. Who would dare to imagine? It was so violent that I almost broke my cervical vertebrae. According to our country, it must be a single bed, but it is a double bed. It is extremely hot. There is a small electric fan with a tilted head, which sounds like a tractor. It was a lively night. There is no independent bathroom and the two rooms are shared. One, it’s convenient to take a bath, but I don’t have enough experience. I’m sorry.

Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park.
Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower.
The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered.
