Amazing
Very nice place near and services .. If you are a pet lover you stay with your pets at the hotel ryokan type, Japanese style hotel. With shuttle service from the train station to hotel.. Just call at the hotel on the time you arrive at the train station. There is an information at the train station so you can ask a help how to call the hotel, the staff there will help you.🤗
A great stay. The dorm is very close to the station just 10 mins from the station. Very convenient for us travellers. The bed is quite spacious for a dorm bed and each one has their own space which is very good. Everything was clean. The service is great and the staffs are all nice and polite.
橙橙色空間Gero Onsen is located in one of Japan's three most famous hot springs and is famous for its high-quality hot spring water and beautiful natural environment. I had a great experience staying at a traditional ryokan in Gero Onsen. First of all, the hotel's architectural style combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comfort facilities, making people feel a strong Japanese style as soon as they step in. The service staff at the hotel were very warm and friendly. They provided me with attentive service in fluent Japanese and some English, making me feel at home. Next is the hot spring experience. The water of Gero Hot Spring is clear and rich in minerals, which has a good nourishing effect on the skin. I particularly like bathing in the open-air hot springs, especially at night. While enjoying the warm spring water and looking up at the stars, the feeling of tranquility and relaxation is indescribable. Dinner is another highlight. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is exquisite and delicious. Each dish is a work of art. It is not only delicious in color, aroma and taste, but also has fresh ingredients, which fully demonstrates the charm of Japanese cuisine. Overall, my stay at Gero Onsen was very good. I was deeply impressed by the hot springs, service and food. It was an unforgettable travel experience.
This is the best onsen hotel we’ve stayed in, among those we’ve stayed in for the past 12 years! We stayed here for 2 nights. We’ve extremely grateful to the hosts for their outstanding service and hospitality from the heart. Loved the thoughtfully varied menu for each meal. The establishment is spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. Each morning, our towels and yukata (hotel gowns) were replaced. So were the amenities ( fragrant green tea packs, snacks). The housekeeping staff even offered to mop our rooms after only one night’s stay. The wifi was also fast and sustained well in the guest room and public lounge areas. There are facilities to cater to a wide range of age groups from seniors like us and children too. There were ample resting chairs in the lounge and on the way to the historian’s well as guest rooms. The best facility was the hot springs! They are exactly as depicted in the hotel website. Numerous indoor pools of various temperature all have the renowned ‘beautifying’ odorless alkaline water. My skin felt so smooth and moisturized after only one soak. What’s more the hot springs stay open for in-house guests from 10.30 am to 11 pm and day-trip visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm. In-house guests can also use the hotsprings early from 6 to 9 am. There is a European dry sauna as well as wet steam rooms in both make and female hotspring areas. We would love to stay here again!
Very nice hotel with old charms, amazing experience with the cable car elevator. Bar and buffet both offers nice meals. Public bath is spacious. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserGreat hospitality - Staff are friendly and helpful. Very warm experience Onsen & room - Clean and decent with Japanese design (Apply to the one inside the room & public onsen) Lobby - Filled with the western classic design For sure, we will return for 3rd times visit to Sasara.
Hotel service is good, i had a good experience in 1-night stay. Hotel could arrange pick-up service from JR Gero station to hotel. There is hot spring in my room, but since the weather is cold, i went to the public one. The facilities are very clean and tidy, i enjoyed an indoor and outdoor hotspring bath. There are convenience stores and souvenir shops around the hotel, with 5 mins walking distance. The food is great, my package included a dinner and breakfast, the food looked great and tasty.
GGuest UserDinner and breakfast were delicious. The room was spacious and had a great view. There were several types of shampoo and body soap in the large communal bath, which was nice.
WWilliamW1999It is actually a annex of Yating, with a total of 8 rooms, each with a private hot spring bath. When checking in, there is a dedicated butler to guide you all the way. 2.7 points is absolutely inaccurate. Dinner was also very good.
