Ogawaya

A historic hotel that's well-maintained. There are several hot spring baths located on different floors, though the outdoor ones are a bit of a hassle to get to. The hotel is large, and the room views are good. You can rent yukata. The food is decent, nothing special.

This is an older onsen hotel. There's a shuttle waiting at the express train station to pick up guests, although it's only about 500 meters away if you choose to walk. The Japanese-style rooms face the river, offering a nice view! There are three large public baths with many different pools, which is also great! Dinner was a bit ordinary, but the breakfast buffet had a good selection.

The hotel service was very thoughtful, and they even had staff who spoke Chinese. The room was very comfortable. We booked a private onsen, which was wonderful, and the room itself was spacious, bright, and fully equipped. There was plenty of hot water, and the bedding was comfortable and warm. The public bath was also clean, tidy, and well-appointed. The hotel's location is excellent, and they even provide a free shuttle bus, which was a very considerate touch. There's a Lawson convenience store nearby, making it super convenient for shopping. It was also very easy to visit the nearby Shirakawa-go village. Our vacation and leisure experience was fantastic. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were abundant and delicious. Thank you for your excellent service!

Super authentic and delicious food.

The hygiene was excellent. They reimburse taxi fares to and from the station, and the location is superb. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
