Busan Hotels with Breakfast

We stayed at this property for a couple nights last month when we had our family emergency in Korea. The property is located in a central area by Yeonsan station - Line1. But it was a little difficult to find it by car/taxi. You should just look up for Hyatt place instead of HLB. The room was big enough for family of 4 - nice and clean and there's an upstairs without furniture or bed - literally nothing. We moved our sofa up there for kid's bed. There's also a laundry machine under the stove which takes forever to wash and dry (3-4 hours) and you need to keep the room key inserted while its run. Otherwise, the machine will stop working. It's got a great city view and stunning day and night. They had a little stove and fridge but no kitchen dishes/pots/utensils were available. Thankfully, there was a convenient store downstairs and lots of restaurants near by. The most disappointing part of this hotel was that they charge for using a swimming pool per person. It was not even cheap or amazing pool rather small. We didn't even bother almost spend $100 per day to use the pool. Forget it! However, The staffs were nice and very helpful and tried to keep our suitcases when we had our early checkout. Overall, I don't think we will go back to the hotel for that much money and with hidden cost.

This is a very typical Japanese hotel – compact but fully equipped. Although the room is small, every inch of space is utilized to its fullest: the bed is comfortable, storage is well-organized, and the en-suite bathroom is clean and refreshing. Even the arrangement of toiletries reflects a unique Japanese sense of order. The cleanliness is impeccable; every nook and cranny is spotless, providing a sense of peace of mind from the moment you check in. The location is also excellent. The subway station is just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to visit all major Tokyo attractions without needing a taxi. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and drugstores all around, so you'll never go hungry even if you return late at night.

The room was spacious, very clean and apartment style (has everything you need). The view from the room also relaxing. All satisfying. The downside is the elevator. Apparently there are a lot of hotel in this building, so need extra patience while waiting for the elevator since they only have 3. We came during concert time, est wait time during peak hours can be around 15 minutes.

View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

Small rooms but clean and budget for around 24$ in a very central location from subway station 20 meters and walking distance from several attractions and 2 subway stations from Busan Train station. Also breakfast included bis extraordinary in this price! Limited English speaking reception but doing their best and functional. They also have washing machine for free! Appreciated.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property with our family in August. This hotel located very close to the beach and it took us only a few mins of walk. The room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms, extra space for 4 big suitcases, little living room and kitchen was big enough but there were no utensils, cups or cooking pots. A couple convenient stores down the street saved us with breakfast. The room was not that clean but we got washer and dryer in the room which was super nice and convenient. The staffs were not that friendly at the front desk. It's a definitely budget-friendly hotel but I do not recommend for family.

The hotel's location is truly fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and the surrounding area is great for exploring. There are plenty of food options, a market nearby, and the beach is also very close. You can even walk to Haeundae Station from here. Strolling along the beach was incredibly relaxing. Regarding the accommodation, check-in is strictly after 3 PM; not even 2:30 PM is allowed. English communication was very good, and having a Wowpass machine in the lobby was super convenient. Breakfast was average, but they have a ramen machine, which is a plus! The dining area is small, but they manage breakfast by assigning time slots, which is great because it prevents everyone from crowding together. The room is small and can't fit two large suitcases. The desk lamp was also broken; I had to go to the lobby to ask for a replacement. From the balcony, you can catch a small glimpse of the beach, but the balcony itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, covered in dust. The general cleaning seemed quite perfunctory; there were a bunch of stickers next to the coffee table (probably left by the previous guest, who clearly lacked manners). If you are looking for a stay with a view in Busan, Hotel Adela offers some fantastic visual perks, though it comes with a few logistical ”hurdles”—quite literally, if you end up taking the stairs! Here is a detailed breakdown of what to expect. The Room & Amenities The first thing you’ll notice is the generous room size. Unlike many cramped city hotels, there is plenty of space to move around. The View: The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view. Watching the bridge light up at night is a great way to wind down. Comfort: The beds are comfortable and provide a good night’s rest. Condition: While the room is clean, some of the furniture is starting to show its age and feels a bit dated. Facilities: Basic toiletries, drinking water, tea, and coffee are all provided. Note that the toilet and bathtub are in the same space (not separated). Climate Control: Be aware that during winter and early spring, the air conditioning is disabled. If the room gets too warm, you’ll need to crack the window to let the crisp Busan air in. The Elevator Challenge (The Biggest Downside) The most significant drawback is the elevator situation. The hotel only has three elevators, which is insufficient for a building of this size—especially since it is a popular choice for large tour groups from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Peak Hours: Between 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, the elevators are perpetually packed. The Struggle: It can be so challenging to catch a lift that I actually had to walk down the stairs from the 15th floor to the lobby. If you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, this is a major factor to consider. Dining & Convenience On-site Eats: There is a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant on the 2nd floor that is definitely worth a try—the taste is quite good! Convenience: A CU convenience store is located right in the lobby, which is incredibly handy for late-night snacks or essentials. Breakfast Tip: I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast package. The restaurant is on the 24th floor, meaning you have to wait for the elevator to go up, and then wait again to get back down to the lobby to start your day. You’ll save money and time by eating at one of the many local spots nearby. Location & Accessibility The location is a strong point for shoppers and explorers: Metro: About a 7–8 minute walk to Nampo Station. Shopping: Very close to Lotte Shopping Mall and the famous Gwangbok-ro Shopping Street. Note: The building is shared with another hotel (North Harbor Hotel), which contributes to the high foot traffic in the lobby and elevators. Hotel Adela is a solid choice if you value a spacious room with a beautiful view and want to stay near the Nampo-dong action. However, the elevator delays are a serious test of patience. If you choose to stay here, try to avoid traveling in and out of the hotel during peak tour group hours! Pack your patience for the lobby wait, and definitely grab some fried chicken on the second floor!

The hotel is in an amazing area, even though the hotel entrance isn't on a very pretty street, the main road is just a few meters away. The only thing we didn't like is that the closet is tiny and only has two hangers. There's nowhere to put suitcases or clothes; you have to open and close your luggage on the floor to get things out. Even in the bathroom, there's no space for toiletries; it's barely big enough for toothbrushes, and there's no room for a toiletry bag. In that regard, it's very inconvenient.

The hotel is already quiet old and need for renovation. The stuff was really well trained and polite. But the room was not such good. The toilet flush was weak, and it wasn't separated from the shower. The water in the shower was hot and the pressure was strong, but the drain was very poor and water accumulated, so I had to turn the shower down to the minimum setting to avoid flooding the room. The TV was hanging crooked on the wall, and I decided not to touch it because I was worried it might fall. The wallpaper and baseboards were heavily stained from splashes, and they themselves were already damaged. The hotel's greatest strengths are its location and its polite, well-trained, and friendly staff. However, it is in dire need of renovation.
