My stay at the Shilla Stay Haeundae was absolutely delightful. The location was exceptional, the facilities modern and spotless, and the view breathtaking. (Make sure to book an ocean view room, it truly makes a difference)
But what truly elevated my experience was the outstanding service. I especially want to commend Anna at reception. Her friendliness, professionalism, and understanding were remarkable.
When I encountered an issue with the safe in the evening, Anna, despite having finished her shift, went above and beyond to ensure a locksmith promptly resolved the problem. Her dedication and support were truly appreciated.
I left Haeundae with a strong desire to return. Thank you, Anna and Shilla Stay, for such wonderful hospitality!
Parking is not allowed at the hotel. Please use the paid parking lot near the hotel.

The accommodation is very close to the beach, although you may not have a full view of the beach from the room. However, the beach is within walking distance. There is a convenience store around the hotel, but restaurants are a bit farther away. There is a restaurant zone and a night market nearby. I reserved a small room since I was traveling alone. The hotel also offers luggage storage service after check-out, which is very convenient for those with evening flights who want to explore the area without worrying about their luggage. The staff are lovely, and breakfast is provided. The hotel is popular among Thai visitors, yet it remains orderly. If you are visiting Busan's Haeundae Beach Zone, I highly recommend this place. If I have a chance to visit Busan again, I will definitely stay here!!!!

Overall the hotel is very new, the room is spacious, the smart TV is easy to use, quite popular among both international and local guests. The convenience store inside the hotel 1st floor is great especially during winter time, we don't need to go out of the building at all. Also you can refill your water bottles at the dispenser located on every floor.
We arrived earlier than the check in time, there are self serviced lockers for storing baggages. And then the hotel staff invited us to check in 1 hour earlier. The desks on the 3rd floor has a good view of the beach and like a modern co working space.
However, there is no cotton pads / hair brush provided, which is a bit inconvenient.

Hotel is relatively new and located in a good location about 5-10 mins walk from subway. Many convenience stores are available nearby. Shower pressure is a bit weak. Toilet bowl is smart type. Language could be a problem so best to use Google translator if u need to get assistance. Most home appliances are in Korean only. For some reasons, the wifi in my room will auto disconnect after mid nite. Just have to pull out and plug in the sockets/wires at the TV and the modem will restart. Towels can be exchanged if staying 3 nites or more and so too for room cleaning. Take note there are no spoons / utensils in the room. Room was clean and neat when we checked in.

The hotel is not bad nor very good. The lighting is a bit poor in the room, and only one light switch for the whole room. It’s very close to Haeundae, which is very good. Close to the subway station and the beach. There’re lots of restaurants and shops nearby, quite convenient.

Decided to get a serviced mini apart as I had to stay a week in town. Unfortunately it did not turn out to be as good as other near by hotels were in other occasions. I was tricked by the fact that it was written newly refurbished. Definitely it is not a place for business people several points hold my stars:
- Despite arrived in business clothes (definitely I was not going partying) I was assigned a room on the 6th floor just beneath the main party road
- when I asked a more quiet room I was told that Haeundae is a party location and they could not help
- windows was with some sort of electric driven closure that, of course, did not seal. As consequence noise was part of my night and managed to save the cold by using the duvet from the second bed
- Only one set of curtains, likely they were the dark one which I had to keep closed when taking shower or changing
- How can such big apart have such small second class bath?
- Definitely do not advertise it for business purposes in particular when there are school trips as in my case students above kept me awake till 3am
Sorry guys it was probably my error in not doing the proper due diligence

Awesome Hotel at excellent location. It's a mere 2-3 minutes from Haeundae station and 5-8 minutes from Haeundae beach. Amenities are plentiful with nice restaurants and food, all within walking distance!
Room was spacious and clean. Bonus part was that my room has seaview and was overlooking the Haeundae shopping belt, which is just fantastic.
Breakfast was excellent with many choices at reasonable price.
Downside was that the hotel has no pool but no complaints whatsoever.
High recommended!!!

Good location. Service is great. Cimer SPA was much quieter than before. The restaurants served good food but a tad pricey but not the most expensive. The rooms look a little dated but still well maintained.

Location is about 15 min slow walk from Haeundae Station. Booked the standard room -23 sq metres. The room size is perfect for solo travellers. May be tight for a couple. I like the layout, a retractable door to partition the bathroom and sleeping area. Nice and cozy. The breakfast is reasonably priced - perfect for me as I really only need eggs, bread, butter, jam, milk and orange juice to start my day. They’ve got all that I need;). Haeundae beach, traditional market, Mipo are all a short walk away..not mentioning the sea aquarium etc. enjoyed my stay at Fairfield.;)

Address: Good Ol’ Days Hotel, 5 Jungang-daero 41beon-gil, Jung-gu, Busan
Price: 💰💰
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Planning my trip to Busan was like being a kid in a candy store - so many hotels, so little time! But with a ferry ride to Japan on the agenda, I figured, why not pick one right by the port? That's how I stumbled upon the gem that is Good Ol’ Days Hotel.
Now, this place isn't just any hotel; it's a time capsule, a portal to the past tucked away in Jungang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan. The name says it all - Good Ol’ Days. As I checked in, I was greeted with a welcome gift that included stamps and postcards. But here's the twist: I was invited to jot down my present feelings, seal them up, and they’d be sent into the future. It's like leaving a piece of yourself behind for future you to discover - how cool is that?
The lobby was like a treasure trove, with the owner's curated list of local activities and food spots that only the savvy locals knew about. And get this: there's a convenience store right across the street for those midnight munchies - talk about convenient!
Don't even get me started on the rooftop area - bean bags, movie nights, and complimentary drinks from their café upon check-in.
Now, onto the rooms. With only 9 cozy nooks to choose from, each room has its own unique charm. We snagged room 1, and boy, was it a treat. From basic toiletries to a Dyson hair dryer (yes, you read that right!), they've got you covered. The pantry was stocked with goodies like drip coffee, cup noodles, and even beer - perfect for those late-night cravings.
But the real showstopper? The technology. A record player and Bluetooth speaker set the mood, while the absence of a TV encouraged us to disconnect and unwind. And if you're feeling creative, they've got a bunch of stationery and scrapbooking tools to leave your mark and even write a postcard to your future self.
All rooms come with breakfast - a cute picnic basket with cereal, eggs and scones.
Overall, Good Ol’ Days Hotel was more than just a place to rest my head; it was an experience that left me feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of my journey.
HHihijaiThe service at this hotel was really good compared to other hotels. They were able to find my guest information from my previous stays at Lotte hotel in Hanoi.
The hotel was built many years ago and the rooms are dated.
The spa and sauna are free which are good but the pool access is chargeable at 30,000 KRW which isn’t a very attractive price.
The room was upgraded, which was nice, that said I can’t really tell the differences.
不不來The boss speaks English very well, so don't worry about communication difficulties. The double bed room is just right for a single person, but it's too small for two people. The room was very clean and the soundproofing was surprisingly good (compared to other B&Bs). Will book again if I have the chance to come to Busan again~
SSeca2Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was just across the Busan Station 1 and walking distance to most establishments. Though the room including the toilet&bath is small, it is complete with amenities (like Japanese style). Hot and cold showers, bathtub, hair blower, water heater for coffee and tea, slippers, small vault for valuables. They provided toiletries and pajamas (just collect at the lobby area). Note: toothbrush and toothpaste not included. No cabinet but can place your luggage under the bed. Free breakfast. No microwave inside the room but at the lobby area where you can have water, coffee and tea from the vending machine. They have a laundry area too so you cannot bring much clothes. The only downside for me is that, check-in time is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, so better adjust and manage your timing. You can leave your luggage at the reception area if you arrive so early. So far, I had a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing sleep during my stay. Cleanliness was never questionable. I look forward to staying here again.
IIanFantastic location. Hotel is located right behind the main shopping street is a quiet area. Basic amenities like auto refilling drinking water machine and coffee machine. There is also a small 'hole in the wall' shop just outside the hotel selling fabulous French crepes.
Only complaint is the lousy attitude shown by the manager. I booked for 3 nights with another extension for 4 nights (7 nights in total). I stated that I use a mobility device because of my disability in the booking. During check in, upon seeing me, he made feel very unwelcome. He told me to find other hotels and asked me to cancel my booking, claiming that my mobility device will spoil the room. Such a ludicrous remark to make. We had a heated argument eventually as I was very upset a him for being discriminatory. i insisted in staying as it was fully paid. It was my first time in Busan, thus I don't wish to spend my holiday looking for hotels. Btw, the room was perfectly fine. Never felt so unwelcome in my life.
Location is its only saving grace. However there are numerous hotels around the area after we got to know the place better.
QQueena LaiThis is a treasure accommodation. Although it is an old hotel, it has been newly renovated. The price for a two-bed (a pair and a single) room is very cost-effective. You can also get a 10gb eSIM for less than NT$200 per week. The uncle at the counter is very kind and friendly. He said that he has a bow The room was noisy and the quiet room did not have a view. My mother and I were asked to choose room 1 from the 2 rooms. We were given room cards to go upstairs to see the room before choosing. We chose a room with a view. The equipment looked newer and we could keep up with the situation. I borrowed an electrical adapter at the counter. There is a bus stop at the door, which is very convenient. It is also very close to Busanjin Station to take the subway. I stayed for four nights and it was cleaned every day. However, the bed covers were not replaced. Except for the water in the toilet, I had to wait for almost ten minutes. It took a while to get hot water, which is rare. There are many restaurants in nearby alleys. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last night.
GGuest UserThe hotel was located in the mountains, so it was a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
The facilities were clean and nice
On the other hand, access by public transportation is somewhat inconvenient.
GGuest UserIt was conveniently located near Seomyeon Station. The area around the hotel is a restaurant district, so if you are worried about people smoking or a lot of trash, it may be best to avoid it.
There may be no one at the front desk when you check in, so you will need to call the phone number posted at the entrance (in my case, there was just someone there, so it was no problem).
It's safer to prepare a SIM card so you can send SMS.
When you check in, you will be given a card key for the entrance and two card keys for the room.
The room has a black-based interior. It feels a bit claustrophobic, but there was a small window.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet.
Hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.
There was bottled water (free) in the refrigerator.
Amenities are provided on top of the refrigerator (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
There was an extension cord that you could plug USB-A directly into, so you had no trouble charging. It was also possible to plug it into a Japanese outlet.
When I checked out, there was no one at the front desk, so I contacted them by SMS and they said ”Please leave two card keys at the front desk,” so I did. The SMS was in English.

GGuest UserThe room is big and ok. It's come with King size bed. The bed is solid hard which makes your body ache when wake up, and not comfortable at all. The is jacuzzi provided but not functional and the tub is leaking.
The hotel not provided towel, already ask the staff but they said they only give face towel. The microwave located at the ground floor of the hotel. There is no connection lift to the parking. The lift is very dangerous for the kids, by baby hands almost got stuck when she tried to enter the lift, its suddenly close.
