The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! The wifi didn’t quite spread to our room so it was a bit patchy there, we but we could easily move to the lobby if we needed to use it. The beach was very nearby and convenient.

Lovely hotel, Great staff in reception and restaurant. Air con was good rooms are clean and beds are comfy! Food was great at the snack bar and during dinner time and breakfast. Lots of selection for everyone and was very tasty. Views are beautiful from the hotel and it is very clean everywhere also location is perfect for everything. Definitely recommend and will definitely return!

We spent a week in this hotel, and had a very enjoyable time. The rooms are very clean, with an option to hire tea making equipment and swimming towels! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and evening meals are very good, and the view of the bay from the dining room is amazing! This hotel is up high above the bay and there are a couple of hundred steps down to the beach, so a reasonable level of fitness is required! We had lunch most days at one of the two beach bars, both very good and inexpensive. We would usually go for an aperitif to the Menorca Club Bar, a ten minute walk from the hotel. The cocktails were great and the view from the bar, wonderful! We also had lunch at the restaurant underneath the bar there, and the food was really good, still with those amazing views!

Hotel is in the best location, 2 minutes walk to the restaurants and 5 minutes walk to the beach, although down a large amount of stairs. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Rooms are basic but everything you need is there, including hairdryer in the bathroom. Beds are extremely hard and not very comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking the beach. Plenty of sun beds, although they are very close together. No water provided in rooms, and a lack of information provided on area and hotel, but scan QR code at reception and this will provide you with some info. Would stay there again.

Fantastic holiday, brilliant Hotel, friendly clean welcoming overall excellent, I would advise anyone looking to stay at Cala en porter to Stay at the Playa Azul ran by Sethotels, beautiful beach there are steps down to the beach but manageable.

Great hotel = great holiday. The hotel was clean, food was delicious and service was great.We enjoy the view from the pool area. Also the location is quite good. Walking distance to the beach and town. Would love to visit again.

This was for us the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had, the room was nice with a balcony and a amazing sea view, cleaning staff keep the place immaculate and work very hard, reception and check in was easy, we found all the staff to be friendly, the food was of a excellent quality and really enjoyable every day, breakfast and especially evening meal, the pool area was lovely and the views from there over the bay were amazing, the transfer time from the airport was 15 minutes, the hotel is on the edge of a nice residential area, but there’s a few restaurants and supermarkets a 2 minute walk away, the area had a nice unspoiled feel about it, overall we had a amazing time, just to note that the steps down to the bay and coming back up are a challenge and we only done that once, great hotel with good staff.

Stayed at the Playa Azul for 2 weeks, had an fantastic time. The hotel exceeded my expections for a 3 star hotel. The location is superb, at the top of the cliff above the beach and bay. The views from the restaurant and pool are stunning. Room was very good, very clean, bed comfortable, air-conditioned, nice bathroom, room safe (payable), only downside is no kettle. Restaurant, we found excellent, the staff are very friendly and efficient. The range for both breakfast and evening meal was vast. The pool area was great. Plenty of sun beds and parasols. Water very clean, temperature was fine. Entertainment (evening) twice a week. With the stunning views comes the downside that if you want to go to the beach you have to negotiate 181 steps or a n approx 1km walk. My wife and I are mid sixties and managed both fine. Overall we had a fantastic time at the Playa Azul If you want to see more of the island I would recommend a tour with Rafeal, you can book at the Next2 supermarket.

We stayed for 11 nights and had an amazing holiday. The location was brilliant. We loved the choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Our room was brilliant overlooking the hills on the other side of the bay with a gorgeous sunset every evening. Our room did have quite a bad smell from the air conditioning, we were offered to move into a bungalow but chose to stay as we didn’t want to lose our view or have to move all of our things. All the staff at the hotel were so friendly. We also enjoyed the ease of just charging drinks to the room, only really soft drinks with dinner. All rooms have a fridge and the location was great for the shops. We hired a car and spent three days going round the island which was also brilliant. There are so many local restaurants that it’s definitely worth going out as well!
