JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa Reviews

It's been open for just 10 days. I went there for a blind box. The facilities are new, the rooms are large, and the decor is standard. The pool has a long, winding rafting ride, which is quite fun. While the service is enthusiastic, there's still a lot of room for improvement. The staff aren't very experienced and need more training. For example, the wait time for CI was very long, the toilets in the lobby and pool lounge didn't have electricity, and we weren't allowed to charge our room bill to the restaurant because they said the system wasn't connected yet. The dishes were served but not on plates, and the juices didn't come with straws. Several staff members at the pool couldn't communicate in English, and I couldn't find a changing room to change into my swimsuit despite asking around. I need to especially commend the lobby manager who speaks some Chinese. He studied Chinese at the University of Jakarta and was very enthusiastic and experienced, and he apologized in various ways.

I had high hopes for the JW brand, but this experience was truly disappointing. On my first night, I found numerous small flying insects in the room, even dead ones on the pillow. I tried to contact the front desk that night, but couldn't get through. The next day, after cleaning, the insects were still there. The room phone was constantly out of service, which was extremely inconvenient. In addition, the power in the room tripped ten times a day, and there was no hot water for an entire morning. For an international five-star hotel, such infrastructure issues are simply unacceptable. While the hotel's surroundings and ocean views are indeed beautiful, and the staff are polite, the overall management and cleanliness are far below JW standards. I hope the hotel can improve quickly. After all, Cam Ranh Bay is so beautiful, and if the hardware and service are up to par, this could be a perfect vacation.

Facilities: The hotel has only been open for two weeks, and the facilities are very nice. The landscaping and spa are being maintained daily. Although the spa hasn't officially opened yet, they still arranged a free 30-hour trial. Cleanliness: The rooms are super clean, the pool is also clean, and the water is very blue. Because the beach is adjacent to another hotel, there's a bit of trash floating on the sand near the beach. I hope they'll keep it cleaned more regularly. Environment: The environment is great. It's about a 30- to 40-minute taxi ride from the city center, and 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel isn't crowded right now, making it a nice retreat, perfect for bringing children. There's a dedicated pool for babies, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel offers several restaurants, all of which are delicious. If you're staying longer and want to dine out for a change, you'll still need to take a taxi into the city. Service: Everyone is very welcoming. While it might be a little new at times, every staff member is passionate and dedicated to running the hotel well. I stayed for three nights and four days, and not a single staff member disappointed me. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. The villas offer great privacy and are perfect for bringing children.

The hotel had a beautiful view. We informed the front desk that our flight was in the evening and requested a late check-out. The hotel kindly offered a 3 PM check-out.
