Carbis Bay and Spa Hotel

The room is different than you describe online. Services are really poor, staff attitudes were so bad for any hospitality standards. I rarely gave negative comments towards hotel booking, but I am really unhappy this time.

Amazing Apartment ! We stayed in one of their apartments for Mothers Day ! Absolutely amazing for a family of 4 . Lovely sea view and everything you need in the fridge . Very clean and breakfast delivered in the morning as well . Absolutely recommend these apartments!

Wonderful room, building, staff, scenery, restaurants, beach, walks and places to visit , everything, in fact, so definitely look forward to visiting again. Loved the view from our room. Walked to Saint Ives and visited Saint Michael’s Mount. Would recommend unreservedly.

The hotel was excellent. We got a really good deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. They reception team and all of the staff are amazing and incredibly helpful especially Ilmer on the front desk. Would highly recommend. Fabulous place! They helped with an allergy issue that my wife had. They could not of been more accommodating. Proximity to the beach and to the train station is excellent, although the latter requires the ability to walk up a very steep hill !!! We had a junior suite with Seaview and it was amazing. We ate dinner in the orangery and, in waters restaurants. Both were excellent with great food and attentive service. We will be returning!

I stayed last weekend at Carbis Bay Hotel in one of their incredible beach lodges. The experience was incredible from the wow factor of the location, the lodge, the comfort and convenience of everything on offer. Our stay happened to fall on a feast night with live music which was a fun evening with exceptional food and service. From the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble. We had a warm welcomed and shown to our accommodation with help to take our luggage down which had everything you could need from kitchen and living facilities, all rooms in the lodge had a sea view and even a bath in one of the rooms with a sea view. We had a hot tub on the ground level which we could also access the beach at ease. We had lovely weather that meant we could relax in the garden of the lodge with comfortable furniture. We arrived to a welcome hamper full of local goodies and a bottle of bubbles to start the celebrations. There were bath robes, flip flops and everything you needed at the location. There is a lovely walk into St Ives if you want to visit somewhere during the day. The hotel has use of the gym and spa with heated pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. I had a lovely memorable stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

It was okish The radiator was hanging off wall and we could not have a bath as the plug did not fit Very disappointed as we did call this chap up to our room oldish guy who was hopeless but promised to sort out the next day .... but did nothing , we never saw anyone to rectify the problems Also every time we wanted a hot drink in our room we had to call reception who brought up milk when they had time Not brilliant service at all Would we stay again .... No Would we recommend... No There's better places to stay

Early in March me and my partner was lucky enough to bring our family to this beautiful hotel for our wedding. The whole team went above and beyond to make this the perfect evening. The food was outstanding, drinks and breakfast the next day from our superior lodge over looking the sea! Would recommend this hotel so highly to all!

We stayed for 3 nights at Carbis Bay to celebrate my 60th birthday. Everything was brilliant and we loved every moment. Dinner at Walter’s on the Beach amazing, the Beach Hut great to relax in and the Spa, Pool and Hot tub superb. Our room, a Junior Suite was excellent with the best view you will get anywhere. 2 areas that could be better - breakfast could be more modern and less formal and the room could do with more storage. All in all a near perfect stay!
