Hotel Mont-Blanc Chamonix

Chamonix-Mont-Blanc|2.68km from Chamonix Golf Club
Hotel Mont-Blanc is a luxurious hotel in a charming mountain town. Prior to our arrival, we exchanged many communications with the hotel staff, as they provided us with restaurant recommendations and secured reservations for us. During our stay we were able to enjoy the pool, the hot tub, the sauna, and especially time on our balcony overlooking Mont Blanc. Valet service was very courteous. A gift of a little book and treat was provided for children at check-in. The front desk assisted us with activities during our stay, included booking tickets for us. Our accommodation was very nice and we especially enjoyed the very large shower! The location is perfect because the hotel sits off the main street of town, but is just a block away so it's easy to stroll around town, shop, and access the conveniences you may need. There is a lovely garden area near the pool, weather permitting, it is a lovely space to lounge in and enjoy the fresh mountain air. What was most enjoyable and memorable from our stay at the Hotel Mont-Blanc was the food. Their breakfast is worth every penny of the cost - there are so many options and everything is of the highest quality and flavor. Do not miss the hot chocolate! We also enjoyed a special celebratory dinner at their restaurant, which again was absolutely worth the price. The menu changes seasonally, and the dinner we had was one of the best in our lives. We would love to stay at this hotel again, and we would absolutely eat as many meals there as possible!

Recommend this hotel in Xiamuni, Grande, just a few minutes walk from the cable car station on the central street of the town. But the reason I recommend is not the location, it is a rare hotel with good hardware conditions, the service is so decent and attentive. Because the hotel is in the center, many streets in Xiamuni are limited to cars, and many sections are narrow and one-way. I called the hotel yesterday after a few roads were fruitless. The service staff gave me GPS coordinates very clearly and guided me all the way to the hotel's private parking lot. Let the staff pick me up. After arriving, very intimate introduction, chat, when asked if I want to book a local delicious dinner, I said, no need, I want to control the weight... The front desk lady humorously self-deprecating said, oh, how many food you are like us French women, missed! Ask me where I came from when I checked in? Say Beijing is a big city, we have 10,000 people... Knowing that I am going to the SPA and intimately draw a map for me to go back to the room to rest and change clothes. This morning, when the hotel service staff brought me Omelette and coffee, looking at the plate and pull flowers, this is really the most sincere I have ever eaten in the buffet breakfast, I feel that every minute is treated with comfort, this service is the best experience! The hotel decoration style is also my favorite old-fashioned, but it is also bright, dry, with a beautiful terrace to see the snowy mountains.

The Hotel: This was a nice hotel, with a cosy seating area and fire by reception and a nice bar on a mezzanine level above. The boot room had plenty of space, with a heated boot rack although we were there during a quiet weekend and the boot rack did get full. There is a nice spa with a hot tub, steam room and sauna. While Covid restrictions are in place you need to book a 45 minute slot, and depending on how long the cover has been off, the hot tub will obviously cool down. There was a continental breakfast offered for €14 per person, which seemed expensive to us, however the pancake machine was a welcome surprise and you could boil your own eggs. The Room: We had a twin ”Drus” Room, which had a nice modern bathroom, plenty of storage space and enough plug sockets to charge phones etc near the bed. The room came with two different types of pillow and had a small mini bar and a safe which we didn't use. Despite some previous reviews, there was a generic body soap provided in dispensers. The Staff: All of the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. We arrived late on Thursday night and were shown to our room by the night porter, which was a nice touch. The manager was particularly helpful and allowed us to leave our bags by reception and use the spa facilities to shower after we had checked out to allow us to spend the day skiing and get changed before our return transfer. The transfer we had booked did not show up, and the manager was able to very quickly arrange a replacement for us, which drove extremely fast to get us to the airport on time. The Location: 2-3 minute walk from the Les Praz Flegere bus stop, from which you can access all the ski areas in the Chamonix valley, from Les Houches to Le Tour. Les Houches is around a 40 minute bus ride, but Flegere is the first stop on the line, so you are pretty much guaranteed a seat. Next to this bus stop is Le Castel Hotel / Restaurant which serves up some terrific apres ski vibes with big beats and table service. The Flegere gondola is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, so it is perfect if you want to avoid getting the bus every day. From Flegere you can also get lift access to Brevent. There are a few restaurant in Les Praz, and La Cabane des Praz is next door to the hotel, providing a great atmosphere and some traditional French cuisine. Once on the bus from Les Praz Flegere, it is around 10 minutes to Chamonix, and this buses run regularly until around midnight.

This is a modern apartment in Les Tines. We stayed here for two nights before moving to Chamonix. The goods: - Big clean apartment with a kitchenette - Next to the train and bus stops - Easy access to nearby trails - La Joux climbing wall is not far The bads: - Right next to the railway. However the trains are not running during night. And they pass only one an hour and do not really bother. - There are no services around. No supermarket and only one restaurant.

The location is very good, the facilities are perfect, and the service staff is warm. You can see the opposite of Bronx at the hotel. The hotel's swimming pool water is heated and you can swim in the late autumn season. It is a good choice to live here in Xiamoni.

I don't think this level of hotel is at this price in Chamonix. The staff are kind and the rooms are clean. Wifi doesn't feel stressful. It is a little inconvenient that it is far from the center and there is no shop nearby where ski rental can be done. However, there is no problem because the bus stop is a 1-minute walk away.
