Hotels near Vincent Guerlais in Nantes

One of my more exciting stays whilst on a trip overseas, was at this premier class hotel. I should have realised that Premier class was the brand, and not a reflection to the hotel, which is very much third-class. The entire building requires significant renovation, which should be inclusive of a very deep clean of all the gunge. I truly believe we were lucky to arrive when reception was open. Later that evening I witnessed a man trying to check-in, with no receptionist available, and the external terminal for booking in not working. The Front of house staff were incredibly friendly, and it was a delight to check-in. From this element of the service was perfect. The room was incredibly small, probably made smaller by having two beds in the room as opposed to one. The bathroom was a cramped tardis – but in reverse – it was tiny inside. On a plus it was possible to wash your feet while sitting on the toilet. There isn’t sufficient soap available, and just a hand dispenser which I presume was shower gel. The temperature of the water was fine, as was the pressure from the shower. This hotel sits on the flight path to an international airport, so if you are a plane enthusiast you’ll be delighted to note every three or four minutes a different aircraft to fly overhead en route to its landing point. Breakfast in the morning was slightly disappointing. Bread, butter, jam and yoghurt. Orange juice and coffee. The addition of some meats, pâté, cheeses, would have made this the more continental breakfast one would have expected. This hotel is definitely on the lower end of the budget spectrum, and that’s absolutely fine, you totally get what you pay for. I rated this hotel higher than perhaps I would’ve normally on account of the staff who were very accommodating.

Superior room was very nice, great to have some extra space and a view over the local streets. Breakfast was very good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Air con worked brilliantly and wasn't noisy. Location is convenient for many of the sights, and it's 5 mins walk to Commerce for Line 1, 2 and 3 trams. All public transport is free at weekends. Nantes is a lovely place to visit, plenty to do and see.

We were very disappointed by the room we asked for with two separate beds, but not by one cm. The room is very small, only a small ”forte” point, the separation of the water room and the toilets, except for the light that is too strong in the full night! Breakfast is too little varied and we had to wait for the cooked bread on demand, instead of fresh bread ... In addition, when booking, we asked if the hotel had a closed private parking, it had confirmed us by the confirmation, so what was our disappointment when we had to put the vehicle to the parking of The Mediatheque... The great strong point, the reception staff and professionalism.

The Radisson Blue hotel is located in the centre of Nantes, a very good experience. Personnels à l'écoute de son client. Service and room at the top. Breakfast with a wide range of products. A city to visit with its quality restaurants.

Great modern hotel with modern rooms, the whole hotel is themed around Jules Verne which makes it quirky, colourful and fun. Staff were really friendly and happy to give out recommendations and advice, and provided a warm experience at check in and check out. The room itself was fitted with a kingsize bed that was firm but really comfortable, in part due to the hotel putting a duvet under the bottom sheet to provide a sandwich of softness. It was actually better than our bed at home, which is saying something! The hotel was also well located within the city, with restaurants only a few minutes walk, and for other attractions which were about 15-20 mins walk its easy to get on the tram (€1.70 for an hour travel pass, free on weekends) to get there in minutes. Overall Nantes is a great place to visit, we're already looking at coming back and this hotel gives a friendly personalised service for a great price - incroyable!

It must take 5 or 6 years to get down here once a month for a few days. I have already warned the Directorate of the establishment of a degradation of the service linked to some members of the team and unfortunately my recent stay has once again demonstrated that the lack of professionalism of one or two employees is harmful to the The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. Lovely property with great staff Our room on the 6th floor was at the front of the building over looking the bars & restaurants and therefore was quite noisy during the early hours of the morning Did have to open windows as air conditioning was not working as if left closed the room was very hot 🥵 All though the room was compact linens , towels and toiletries were of good quality alas we speak Spanish & English but no channels were operating these languages not even news Room was dusty and safe had an error which I mentioned to reception as could not be used - but overall the room did the job for 2 nights and we duly explored Nantes Would love to return and explore the city

This apart hotel is in an ideal, quiet location, 10mins walk down into the centre of the city. Three good restaurants and a small supermarket within 200m. Very good value, clean, functional, everything you'd need for a few days stay. Limited, but adequate cooking area with fridge, coffee machine, oven, hob, microwave, but no kettle or toaster. Bathroom good, but no toiletries provided. We got into the private underground car park, at Euro10/day, but perhaps not big enough for all guests?

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, allowing you to visit everything walking and having a parking space, but the litter is not at all (fine and very hard matlas), it is the same litter that you can find in the Ibis hotels **. The chairs are straight and too small (this hardly covers the bed intle), the small and unvolume cousins, the fine coat and all small. This point must really be changed, at present they are absolutely not worthy of a 4-star hotel. The rooms are quite small.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable within the price quality ratio. Excellent location but the best is the attention of both receptionists , both Adrian and Ernesto attended us , advised and helped in particular problems more than professionally , Thank you very much and enchanted with our visit to Nantes .
