Staying at the Howard Johnson Changsha South Station Hotel was the best decision I made while visiting Changsha! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Changsha South Station, making lugging luggage a breeze. The warm Hunan hospitality greeted me upon entering the lobby. The staff greeted me with a smile, helping me check in and even offering a thoughtful guide to Changsha's food. The room was spacious and bright, with a simple and elegant décor. The soft, skin-friendly bedding instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, high-quality toiletries, and a large bathtub—perfect for a relaxing soak after a day out! The hotel's breakfast was even more amazing, featuring everything from Changsha-style rice noodles and sugar-coated glutinous rice cakes to Western-style pastries and fruit salad. The selection was extensive and delicious. What impressed me most was the service. One evening, I was craving local snacks, and the front desk attendant not only patiently recommended them but also helped me arrange takeout. Their attention to detail was impeccable! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Changsha. It's an excellent value, and I'll definitely stay here again!
