Great value for money! I heard it's right by Tianfu 5th Street. The kids' play area is excellent and spacious, and I really love the decor. The record player at the entrance creates such a relaxing vibe. Unfortunately, the pool was closed when I visited, which was a shame. I'll definitely come back again!

The room was quite nice, but I really couldn't stand the music playing from the gramophone right by the entrance – it felt like nothing more than a gimmick. The location is also very convenient, and ordering food is easy. It's great for families with kids; they have a dedicated children's play area downstairs where kids can happily spend half a day. Breakfast was decent too, with a wide variety of options, though the taste was just average. They even offered complimentary cocktails; I originally planned to go but was too tired. All in all, it's a good hotel for a family trip, and there's a shopping mall nearby that you can explore.

Undeniably, the hotel boasts excellent design and high-quality materials. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and the hotel as a whole is well-maintained. The views from the windows are lovely, and the location is very convenient. The attendant at the 16th-floor children's play area was incredibly responsible. When my child's hand was injured by another child during playtime, she promptly administered first aid and notified us by phone. Room cleaning was thorough. Seeing that we were doing laundry, they thoughtfully provided a small drying rack and laundry detergent. The hotel also delivered fresh fruit, milk, and eye masks daily. The swimming pool's water quality was good, and both the pool water and indoor temperatures were ideal for swimming in winter. My child really enjoyed it. This hotel was indeed the best in terms of overall conditions among all the hotels we stayed at during our Sichuan trip. However, during check-in, some reasonable requests were met with a rather blunt refusal. Although these issues were eventually resolved through other channels, it did leave a bit of an unpleasant feeling.

Aside from the slightly out-of-the-way location, everything else was okay. However, I was quite disappointed with the 'river view' room – it was just a small canal outside, and it wasn't even lit up at night.

The hotel has a pretty good environment, and there's a lobby and a dedicated restaurant, which I assume is where they serve the breakfast buffet. Each room is quite cozy, and the housekeeping staff comes in to clean regularly – unless, of course, you put up the 'do not disturb' sign. Besides breakfast, the restaurant also offers afternoon tea, which is a nice touch. They have parking spots downstairs, and parking is free for guests.

Chengdu Haiwan Hotel is just too heartwarming! I have to give a huge shout-out to the super gentle Cindy! She's so diligent and responsible, all our little requests were handled perfectly, and the thoughtfulness was off the charts 💖. The hotel's childcare service was also incredibly dedicated; the staff were patient and loving. My child had a blast and was well-looked after the entire time, allowing us parents to totally relax. The hotel environment is lovely, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt. They even offered complimentary bedtime milk and eye masks! The kids' play area, which is a major plus when traveling with children, was also excellent – spacious and clean. The kids made friends and played so much they didn't want to leave. The lady at the front desk in the pink uniform was very responsible and patient, even helping my child put on their shoes. The Chinese restaurant's dishes were all quite good; we ate there for three consecutive days 😋. I must give a special shout-out to Cindy. Her service was meticulous and thoughtful, from her patient explanations during check-in to proactively helping us with a late check-out. She was always responsive to our requests, making us feel welcomed and demonstrating true professionalism throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
