Perfect location for those who want to be close to the city center. The clock tower and the night bazaar are within walking distance and just a few minutes away by motorbike. We could park our motorbike right outside the hotel where spots are actually available. As always in Thailand, the welcome was very nice; and check-in was smooth and fast. Our room was without air conditioning (not needed in January) and located in a different building at the back of the main one. This building has been closed throughout COVID which may explain why our room felt a little bit worn out. This was not too big a deal though, as the bed was hard and good, the sheets were clean and the bathroom did the job with a nice hot shower! Breakfast was excellent. Overall, we were happy with our stay. Tourist Inn is a GREAT VALUE option right in the center of the city.

This place is fantastic. It is close to everything and a short walk. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is incredible. Fresh bread every day with cooked eggs and fruit. The water temperature and pressure is the best we have had in all of Thailand.

Stay away from this terrible hotel: -Pictures online don’t match the room you will get. Everything is old, cheap, dirty and worn down. -Mattress was hard as a rock -A/C failed constantly, staff did not know how to fix it. -Fuses went down when using hair dryer. -Bathroom is a wet room with a bad drainage. -Huge leak in the reception that was not fixed during our stay. -Worst part was the owner: initially very friendly, he recommended places to go, where to rent a bike and a tour to get to Laos. We decided to book independently as he did not wanted to share the name of the companies and we wanted to check the reviews. As he did not get his commission, he immediately changed his tone and denied to accommodate our requests related to our room as “we had not booked the services with him”. Commissions are normal, but I have travelled +42 countries and never found someone so openly false and hypocrite with their hotel guest. Even if the breakfast and the price is great, I would recommend to look for a better place with real people.

So etwas von unfreundlich die Gastgeber, das habe ich in Thailand noch nie erlebt. Zum Hotel, alt, schmutzig .. die Wände schmutzig richtig eklig, Schimmel an dem Duschvorhang, Steckdosen total ausgeleiert, kaum Ablagefläche, Türen kaputt, Fenster nicht richtig zum schließen, kann jederzeit einer rein und es ist dadurch laut. Bett war Gott seit Dank sauber. Duschbad/WC in einem. Fön, Fernseher (ob er ging keine Ahnung), Klima/Ventilator und Handtücher da. Schmutziger ekliger Kühlschrank im Treppenhaus für alle. Hellhörig ist untertrieben bei den Türen hört man alles. Ja Frühstück gibt es.. Rührei oder Spiegelei, minimal Obst, Marmelade, Tost sonst nichts. Die Chefin hat eine kleine Bäckerei in der Hinterküche, aber die Semmeln muss man kaufen, Croissant wie auf den Fotos hab es nicht. Im ganzen haben wir es überlebt (wir stellen keine hohen Ansprüche), aber hier nie wieder! Viele Bewertungen verstehen wir nicht! Die Bilder im Internet sind in keinster Weise aktuell!!

Bon accueil à l’arrivée. Nous nous sommes fiés aux avis pour le choix de cet hôtel, qui est bien situé dans la ville, qui propose un petit déjeuner copieux et correct. Cependant, la chambre que nous avons eue, était très vétuste (mobilier très abîmé. Pas bcp de place sur et autour du lavabo). Points positifs: pression de l’eau très bien, Clim silencieuse et fonctionnelle. Personnel accueillant

El hotel tiene una pequeña reforma en el baño pero el resto de la habitación, por lo menos la que nos tocó, estaba un poco hecha polvo con grietas enormes, hormigas... no estaba muy cuidada, la verdad. La cama era durísima pero la zona era tranquila y llegabas caminando a todos sitios. El personal era amable y servicial El desayuno estaba incluido y fue un poco desastroso, estaba rica la tortilla que te preparaban pero el tostador no funcionaba bien y tenias que pulsarlo apra que funcionase, la miel tenia bichos dentro, tenías que ir pidiendo lo que querias porque no estaba fuera... no sé, el alojamiento nos dejó un poco mal sabor de boca, así que buscaría otra opción si volviese a Chiang Rai
