My recent stay at this hotel was generally unsatisfactory. While the rooms are spacious, the facilities are outdated. The hotel does not provide complimentary water - instead, they charge $6 for a 500ml bottle. The air conditioning wasn't turned on before check-in, showing a lack of preparation. The front desk is severely understaffed with only one employee, resulting in queues every time you need assistance. The service quality needs improvement - they don't provide basic room service such as delivering toothpaste to the room. Additionally, the elevators lack security access control, raising safety concerns. Particularly disappointing was when staff entered the room with such brief notice that I didn't even have time to respond on the check-out day. Considering the room rates, this hotel offers poor value for money. Apart from the generous room size, the overall experience falls short, and I cannot recommend staying here.

Wonderful room with wonderful views. Love sitting in the window seats overlooking the city. The service is excellent- Antonio and Jovan are excellent as well as another young gentleman who worked at the front desk (can’t remember his name). We love this location. The only negative is having to look at the trump hotel and to be reminded of an awful human being that is sadly, horrifically and scarily our joke of a president who is ruining our country. The L7 though is wonderful and we highly recommend.

This is a historical hotel in Chicago, love it very much. I love their restaurant & bar, good atmosphere and serve with good foods (see my pictures). I will definitely choose this hotel again by the next time to Chicago

Very good hotel, meets travel needs, large room, comfortable air conditioning, excellent location, great gym, will recommend to people around, the doorman is enthusiastic to help with luggage, everything is very comfortable, the room soundproofing is also good

I thought this place was nice I appreciated the front desk changing our room to accommodate a good view I definitely recommend staying.

The breakfast level is very poor, typical American Motel breakfast level. Everything else is good, the location is particularly good, facing the magnificent mile section of the Chicago River, and the night view is magnificent.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room faces Lake Michigan, and the view outside the window is unbeatable. The room is clean and comfortable, and the bedding is comfortable.

The location is good, the service is average, and the Japanese food on the 11th floor is worth trying. It is very convenient to go anywhere in Chicago, and it is close to the lake, shopping, and eating.

The room is large, apartment-style for cooking, and the equipment is complete. It's very cost-effective for a large number of people. There are people cleaning the room every day. It feels suitable for family travel. There is a lot of breakfast provided, and you can pack it as you like, which feels very good.

The location is very good, surrounded by business districts and subways. Breakfast is also available, very good. I will continue to travel here next year. The room should be as high as possible, otherwise it will be very noisy at night.
