I had a one night stay before boarding a cruise ship in Vancouver. I booked this DUMP online. My God, it was horrible. The drapes were falling apart....The floor was tacky underfoot. You could not use the shower because the hot water handle was totally loose. I was in room 9. There was no stopper in the wash basin. So we took a sponge bath. I did call to the front desk and he offered to change us to room 10. I declined because I didn't think it could be much better. My advice, you'd be better off sleeping in your car. That's how bad it was. Air conditioner - we could not seem to shut off. It was one of those tiny things in the wall. We didn't need it because it was in the 50's.
This 38-day independent trip to Canada has been planned for a long time. It finally happened on July 13. The first stop is Vancouver, where I will stay for 9 days. On Trip, I booked two rooms at the Royal Mansion B&B, which is less than 1 kilometer away from the Metrotown MRT station. , with good environment and convenient transportation, I will definitely stay here next time I visit Vancouver.
During the epidemic, the restaurant and ** were not open, and the facilities were not available. The hotel parking lot has sufficient parking spaces and the location is often convenient. You can go to the room through the lobby.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Burnaby location in order to attend a dinner function nearby. We checked into our room and the heater was already on and set at 68 and seemed to be working OK. Shortly after we arrived in the room, a maintenance person knocked on the door to see how the heater was working. That should have clued us in as to what would happen next. A bit later, the unit started to spit out cooler air. I might add that the unit never cycled off and on as it should. I turned the unit up to around 72 to see if that would make a difference but no it did not. We contacted the front desk and within 5 minutes, maintenance came to check. We were told that the heater had to remain at 68, no higher or it wouldn’t work. I have never heard of such a thing. High temperature in Vancouver was mid 40's dipping into the 30's at night. By this time, it was 5:30 and we had to head out the door for the dinner event at 6PM. I wish we would have demanded a different room, because when we returned it was definitely cooler in the room. We were both tired and needed to leave the hotel early in the morning so we decided to “gut it out”. I looked for additional blankets and there were none. I wound up sleeping a total of 2 hours in my coat. This was not a comfortable experience. I am generously giving this property 2 stars as the room itself was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk clerk kindly gave us a 50% discount for our discomfort which was the best she could do, but when I contacted their HQ was offered a 50% discount off a future stay. Don't think I will take them up on that offer, but thanks anyway.
This is our second year in a row booking at the Element Metrotown Burnaby for our soccer tournaments. Roxanne in group bookings was super helpful and awesome to work with because she helped me organized the accommodations. I had no idea what I was doing. Rafael at the front desk was friendly, helpful and he remembers everything. The location was excellent with many food options, groceries, and a mall. The rooms were spacious and gorgeous with great views. The kitchen with full fridge was very convenient for 4 occupancies. The beds are also very comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel.
We went to Canada for business purposes. Each of us had a room on a different floor - I ended up on the 7th floor and a room with a mountain view. A colleague ended up lower and there was already only a view of the shopping center. But these are not aspects of the hotel's rating. I subtract one star for the dry air and buzzing air conditioner in the room. The rest OK. Breakfasts correct, service courteous.

南南极北望The location is average, it is a bit noisy to keep the road. Hotel facilities are relatively simple, air conditioning is not easy to use. Breakfast is free, but only juice and bread are too shabby.
