The hotel is located on the mountain east of the city. The environment is very quiet. It overlooks the Kemi River. The hotel is well decorated and feels very petty. The hotel has a rooftop, which is suitable for driving the aurora. There is a ski resort next to it. Convenient. If you rent ski equipment, you still need to go down to the mountain. The hotel’s breakfast is exquisite. I also had reindeer liver sauce. The hotel’s restaurant requires advance reservations and the dishes are very good. The disadvantage of the hotel is that the location is relatively remote, it is not convenient if it is not for self-driving. Extra bed and breakfast for children will be charged 35 Euros. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes.

The kids loved it, the breakfast was very good, and you can eat as much caviar as you want. We had a lot of suitcases, but it was difficult to push them because of the snow, so the hotel sent us directly to the door. The service was very good. After booking, I emailed the hotel in advance and asked for a room with a view. You can upgrade it directly by paying a few euros. There is a ski resort outside the door, and you can occasionally see people skiing on the snow.

Centrally located, walking distance to many restaurants. Johi at front desk was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast spread could have been better. Only downside is the sound proofing from level above wasn’t great. Could hear kids running around till late night. Overall would recommend this hotel, plus they have free parking for guest unlike other hotels that would charge guest.

Arctic City Hotel is located in the prosperous city center, surrounded by many food markets and shopping malls; it is adjacent to a quiet lake; the rooms are exquisite and comfortable, clean and tidy; the beds are very comfortable to sleep on, it is worth mentioning👍 The breakfast is rich, thoughtful and has hot food , frozen food, fruits, cheese, coffee, etc.; don’t miss it!

Santasport Hotel is an integrated resort with accommodation, trekking, skiing, bike riding, snowboarding and many other winter activities. They have track for all the activities and it was an enjoyable trip to explore the woods during winter. The hotel has a bowling alley, swimming pool and sauna. It also has a cafe Checking in and out was a breeze and the staff are friendly and helpful. They attend to all guests need and never fail to impress. Room size was reasonable and they also have a clothes drying cabinet. Bed is comfy and I had good sleeps. Breakfast was good with quality soread. Will return to Santasport Hotel if I come for my winter holiday in Rovaniemi.

** it is 30 min drive from the rovaniemi city center, about 50 euros on uber. however you get to live close to the trees and lake without much light pollution/ crowds, i managed to peek a little bit of aurora during our stay. ** very friendly and helpful staff and hotel owner. he even helped me pick up a failing toy drone in the middle of the frozen lake. ＜3＜3＜3 i do love this place

This hotel really surprised me. It’s quiet and the environment is so good. I didn’t expect it. For 100 yuan, you can live in a detached building with a sauna. It has parking for everything and is convenient. My only complaint is that the bedding is not as warm and thin as in the hotel. The thin layer is not enough for two people. It is a bit simple.

Apartment is located close to the city center, about ten minutes' walk. Before check-in, you will be sent an SMS and email with a password about your check-in at about 3 pm. The hotel has no front desk or service staff. It is an apartment hotel and requires self-service key collection. The facilities in the room are rich and convenient, but the cupboard of the room I stayed in had three buckets of garbage left by previous guests. It smelled like it had been rotting for many days:( We stayed with the garbage for one night
