The room saves this hotel... The geographical environment is not optimal with a view of the buildings which hide the greenery and the mountains, the traffic is also heavy... The room is clean, very well equipped and 'a beautiful decoration. Efficient bathroom and plenty of storage. Our breakfast, although ordered when we arrived, was complicated since we were brought the pastries and cold meats, then the fruit juice and the fruit salad without a spoon after a long, very long wait. We are asked once, twice, three times for our room number to check our order but to no avail! We take our order of hot drinks once, twice, three times which arrive a little late. Nothing went smoothly and this breakfast was a fiasco, what a shame...

Stayed at L'Oree du Parc in Divonne-les-Bains for three nights in March 2022, deciding to book one of their small apartments. This is larger than their standard Studio, having a separate bedroom and a lounge/dining room with a sofa which would convert into a single or double bed if necessary. For two people we had plenty of space. Cleanliness on arrival was excellent and the overall condition of the apartment was also very good with only a few small signs of wear-and-tear which were really unnoticeable. The kitchenette facilities were fine for preparing breakfast but we didn't use them for cooking any meals. I'm sure the hob and microwave would be adequate for preparing a small meal if you wanted to eat in. My only minor comment would be the curtains in the bedroom should be thicker than the net provided, since there aren't shutters. This meant the outside lights shone into the bedroom at night, but really I didn't lose any sleep due to this. We would certainly stay here again, as proven by the fact this was already our second visit.

The hotel was really good, exceeding our expectations. It is still a grand hotel, designed in the 20’s and 30’s in an art deco style, with the building and furniture showing some art nouveau, Bauhaus and Viennese furniture design elements. The public areas and rooms are therefore really interesting. It is well maintained, clean ( a few small areas could be cleaner), with practical friendly staff. We did not eat there as the breakfast was a bit over our budget at 22 SF per person and the restaurants were closed. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room rate was very reasonable. We would definitely return.

Excellent ... What to say more? I was welcomed My room was well ... good bed, good SdB, TV, boiler, tea/caffee, mineral water, reasonable price ... A wish? I don't need a copy breakfast ... a mini- breakfast kind of coffee - growing fruit juice to +/- EUR 5,00 would have been a more ... but there, I chipote!

My wife and I completed a 3-night stay at this property and were disappointed. The room and facilities did not meet our expectations for cleanliness, there was always a strong odor of cigarette smoke in our bathroom area (reported to the hotel staff), and we had to accommodate a repairman who was changing out all the locks in our hallway one morning. Altogether not a good experience, which we expressed to the hotel and to *********** who we used to prepay for 2 reservations. We couldn’t get the second reservation canceled so had to stay there again to keep from losing our prepaid money. The second stay was in an upgraded room which was bigger and nicer than the first with no smoke smell, but this didn’t make up for the fact that the hotel has a lot of work to do to bring it up to the advertised product.

Excellent accommodation! The Residence is very well placed, 2 steps from the city centre, the Lake of Divone, and a few km from the trails ... The staff is of a kindness ... the common spaces, the apartments are very clean. We had a duplex, excellent litter (very important ...)! The small -: the SDB is small and needs to be renovated, there is a small oven in the kitchen ... But these are details ...
