Find the Cheap Jurancon Hotels

Stayed here in August. In a confort room, no the ”basic” room they may also offer. Good location for sure. We probably do not have the same defintion of ”Modern”, as advertised on their website. This is an old hotel, that clearly requires some deep renovation to be aligned with what is a 4* hotel today. There are good example of hotels in historical buildings, with a modern and attractive atmosphere around the world. In a few words : - old hotel, with some coat of paint here and there. - In the room, a desk, a chair, but no space between the desk and the bed to be confortablre working on that desk. - a noisy AC. - a bathroom that seems to be renovated, but that is clearly not at the expected level of cleanless. Just have a look at the pictures. - two micro shower gel / shampoo in the room. Better to bring yours ;-) Staff is great, and gave us good advices for restaurants around.

J”ai séjourné 3 nuits, dans un studio double , pour deux donc, et suis très satisfaite. Tout d'abord , bien entendu l'emplacement est l'atout majeur : en plein centre ville , donnant sur une rue piétonne , et ayant tout de même un parking. Autre atout et pas des moindres, l'accueil, le professionnalisme, l'écoute et l'extrême gentillesse de tout le personnel est à souligner (et très arrangeant pour tout). Ma demande de chambre au calme a été écoutée et appliquée. Ensuite justement, j'ai été bluffé par le calme de cet hotel (et je peux être difficile à ce sujet) , il est étonnant , et donc excellente, parfaite insonorisation (d'ailleurs le vendredi soir un grannnnnnd groupe de jeunes musiciens était présent, et je ne les ai pas entendu malgré les avoir vu discuter au salon extérieur ou sur les balcons , lors de mon arrivée tardive le vendredi) . Ensuite, les chambres sont grandes, très bien agencées, on peut y circuler et y respirer, ce qui est très appréciable, avec de nombreux rangements. tout ceci, additionné au mobilier , pourrait faire rougir certains 4 étoiles bien moins terribles à ce sujet. la douche est grande également. Les petits déj sont bons, en chambre ou en salle, et à prix corrects. dailleurs , par rapport aux prestations, j'ai trouvé le prix des studios tout à fait corrects. le parking est payant, mais le prix des chambres étants corrects, cela fait un tout raisonnable. Si vraiment je devais chipoter sur un détail, ce serait la lumière-minuterie qui s'allume et s'éteint tout le temps à l'extérieur devant les chambres, donc toute la nuit aussi; la chambre avait des rideaux occultants, mais on voit par le dessus, le dessous et les cotés, mais la fenêtre étant en face du lit , en se tournant sur le coté , on finit par faire abstraction. je reviendrais dans cet établissement avec grand plaisir. (sur mes photos il manque la partie table et chaises qui se trouvent devant la fenetre, en face du lit ... pour donner une idée de la taille de la chambre)

A real good two stars. Of course the out-age facade with its broken parts is scared, just as the entrance and the reception. However, the room was spacious and functional, though old. Of course a renovation of the whole hotel would be necessary. The pdj is very low, but at least it is only 7 euros in bill. Break nothing is cosy, new, beautiful but it is functional, large and clean with a price adapted accordingly. A impression d'accès non sécurisé aux chambres donc vous fermez bien. Le gardien ne veut pas qui accède à l'ascenseur. Choisissez une chambre sur l'arrière. Ces qui donnent sur la place peuvent être bruyantes un samedi soir d'été.

Travel Agent Review- This is a lovely small hotel in a very central location in Pau and beautifully restored. It is maybe a 10 minute walk to the Pau Square and all the restaurants. The rooms are very generous in size and well appointed. The staff are exceptional and a shout-out to Anais and Ramon(?) as they were both very accommodating and lovely! Breakfast here was good. The night secure parking was a plus but it is a very small lot so parking is very tight. I would highly recommend this hotel!
