The hotel is actually a Shanghai-like Heshenghui, a big shopping mall. The hotel reception is in the corner of the second floor of the shopping mall. The decoration style of the Crowne Plaza Hotel is consistent. Since we are going to the exhibition, we are very close to the nec exhibition center and it takes 10 minutes to walk. Next door is Birmingham Airport. Basically, people who come here for business are not interested in any sights. There is a large party bar on the first floor of the hotel. You can also order some food. The breakfast is on the ground floor. There are not as many choices as domestic ones. They are more English style. What scrambled eggs, poached eggs, fried eggs. As soon as you go into the revolving door you are hit by a clean fresh sent. The hotel downstairs feels modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.

When traveling on business, it is close to the Convention and Exhibition Center, so it is very convenient to travel. Hilton's facilities are almost the same, everything is available, and the environment is also good. I often choose Hilton when traveling on business. It is quite satisfactory.

Very close to the work address, the traffic is convenient, but you have to rent a car. The next day I knew that it was a hotel where Indians were setting it down. Breakfast is too general, even coffee is washed.

I rang ahead and asked if I could check in 20 mins earlier but that was extra £20. Was given room 400 but was dirty. Moved to room 435 which was opposite lift and an accessible room. Facilities included tea/coffee, ironing board and safe. The room faced the departures area of the airport. There is a bar & restaurant on site. The room itself was quiet and sound proof from airport noise. Staff seemed friendly enough. But the hotel is more 3 star than 4 star. Convenient for the location.

It was awful night.We booked this hotel to catch early morning flight.We didn’t even sleep for 1minute peacefully.old air condition.it was freaking hot and ac was not working.they should implement the new AC system.will never go again.window was also not good.you won’t be able to open it. Room was tiny and you will get suffocated

Hotel was clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. We booked it as we had an early flight from the airport, one issue was the taxis and cars constantly beeping their horns at around 3am which kept us awake, this is not the hotels fault but unsure if it was just a one off or if it’s always the same. Hotel really good for what we needed though, could have had a fridge to make it better.
