The location is good all within 10 minutes walk to restaurant and shopping centre, IKEA is 7 minutes away only. Recommend those taking cruise at Southampton port to stay 2 days, those forget to bring enough clothing don’t worry, Decathlon and others shop is also around the corner next to IKEA. Old castle also not far away.
Good hotel right in the centre of Southampton. Parking is a touch tricky and is about £11 a day. 16 hours. Free 0000-0759

Breakfast is average, because of pick-up, the hotel arranges people to wait for me to check in in the middle of the night, it can be said that it is very intimate
The room looks at the yacht port. It is recommended to open a room that can see the Atlantic side. The scenery is good. You have to tell the front desk.
In the early morning, there was a motorcycle blasting street, the bar downstairs was noisy, and I was prepared. Breakfast was on the sixth floor. You can see a good view. The small town of Southampton is not seen. It is not recommended to stay in this city. It is recommended to live in Portsmouth next door.
Tissue in the toilet when I got there ,staff was very unprofessional during check in asking for late check-in fee even after I explained I called the place and the call went unanswered to tell I would be arriving late.
This hotel was really a pleasant surprise: I wasn’t expecting this given the name of this place. They only had a basic reception setup, but the meals were great and the attention to the finer details in the room and the space was impressive. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I’d be happy to stay there again.
The check in process was very easy, just took us some time to find the place because we thought it is separated from the pub but the reception is actually right in it so just walk straight in! Room was very cozy and equipped, very thoughtful to provide us with all the basic amenities plus additional items such as water, beer, milk, chocolate, coffee for coffee machine and even a postcard! Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was also really amazing - you get to choose a main and a drink from their breakfast menu on top of a mini buffet spread that offered some really good pastries, salamis, cheese and more, so be sure to leave some extra time in the morning to enjoy it!
However, there was a club opposite the place that was opened slightly pass midnight when we were there and if you're a light sleeper be sure to pack some ear plugs to go to sleep early. One of the corners of the wall also had a slight mold issue because the condensation from the bathroom must have caused that in the long run but it shouldn't be a huge concern though it will be nice if that gets fixed!

CCV TorredesGood spa area. Room is clean and cozy. Food is plenty and good. But price is very unstable, it can change from £210 down to £100 in 2hours and back again in few hours.
PPik Kwan LauraThe hotel is in a good location, close to the cruise terminal and shopping malls, so it is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The hotel service is also very considerate and the staff are friendly. Will continue to consider staying here next time!
GGuest UserEverything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. I enjoyed the fitness suite as well, variety of work out equipments. I will definitely recommend and will return there again 😀😀
GGuest UserBeautiful grounds! The entrance to the hotel is amazing. It’s in a fantastic setting, lovely to walk around the grounds aha explore. The room is slightly dated in comparison to other hotels, however the bed is comfy and you have a tv and hot drink facilities. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room were a nice touch.
GGuest UserThe room was well appointed and comfortable. Decor is basic but looked like it was renovated recently. Being able to have meals onsite is helpful as it there's not a lot to choose from nearby. Good position for the cruise and bus terminals. Staff were helpful.
AAhujaGreat old style hotel with decent small size pool and sauna. Friendly staff. Heritage building.
Slightly worn at places especially outside areas like tennis court and gardens are not fully maintained.
EEthanOverall I thought this Hotel for having ‘budget’ in its name was very good, I still think that £182 was pretty expensive for what was on offer compared to the big brands like Travelodge/Premier Inn. This Hotel was in a very convent location in Southampton and is within short walking distance from Southampton Cebtrak Train Station, Southampton Coach Station and Southampton Cruise Terminal. There’s even a McDonald’s right outside the building, The lobby was clean and tidy and check in speed was fast, first problem is that the Key cards kept randomly l stop working almost every time I went in and out of the hotel, asked what the problem could be and was told that the cards de magnetise if near a mobile device, I found this irritating, the room was a decent size with comfortable bed, Shower is in the bedroom and the toilet was in its own little closet, dident bother me as a solo traveller, the shower was slightly frustrating as the temperature consistently kept changing from hot to cold and the handle was that big it was easy to knock the handle and turn if the shower without intentionally doing so, Imtge rooms have no kettle and no plug sockets near the bed only two plugs by the desk, I like the option to have 24/7 access to food and drink at recipe if you need it there’s a menu/leaflet in the rooms, unfortunately the breakfast for a continental breakfast was very poor, very little selection on offer and the 2nd morning had considerably less with very little to eat, for the price that was very disappointing, apart from that its convent on location and gets the job done
XXuhaocaiThis hotel is located next to the highway. It is simple like a motel and is surrounded by McDonald's, coffee shops and small supermarkets. It has complete living facilities. Although it is not luxurious, it is clean and comfortable enough to meet the needs of a good night's sleep. For travelers who are in a hurry, it is a convenient and affordable accommodation option.
WWanlibenteng888The hotel facilities are very good, it looks clean and hygienic, and it's very atmospheric. The service is in place and I will stay again next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
