Find the Cheap Gudauri Hotels

Good: comfortable rooms if a bit on the small side. Very friendly, helpful (and English speaking) manager and staff. Restaurant OK. Pool and sauna are great after a day on the slopes. To note: it is quite a way out of New Gudauri (where the main ski lift, restaurants, bars, ski rentals etc are located). The manager will run you to and pick you up from the base of the ”Shino” lift near the hotel but if you need to get into Gudauri (or fancy eating there after skiing) you will have to call the hotel (they are very efficient about responding) and pay about 20 Lari.

Есть уютное место у камина, где можно провести вечер с бокалом вина в приятной компании, поиграть в нарды. За отдельную плату в гостинице можно посетить сауну с приятным температурным режимом. Еда в отеле не самая вкусная, по сравнению с другими местами, но вполне приличная. На вкус и цвет.

We lived across the street and ran here deliciously to eat and rest. Classic location: near the lift, excellent views, quiet, the road is not even heard. Comfortable interior restaurant hall on the first floor with couchs and fireplace, and a terrace with comfortable chairs and a view to the mountains. Style, with a rest, interior in which it is pleasant to be, non-stressed music (and the opportunity to sit in silence too very cool). The fireplace on the evenings killer-phrase: cozy, warm, sticky) Very delicious and quick cook, there are local dishes (chkmeruli chicken and hachapuri in the Ajargic were just fire), and usually-usual, type of carbonaras and pizza. The attitude is very friendly, the staff is friendly: the kind people with whom it is nice to talk. The teacher responsible for the restaurant is a friendly and pleasant person: agreed with the kitchen on special wishes, organized us a birthday almost-wake and was a pleasant interlocutor throughout the holiday. The master of Merabi was very responsive helped with domestic questions, took us to the Ark of the Friendship of the People near the hotel, treated wine, told stories, sitting on the terrace ... incredibly spiritually! ) It was wonderful to have a time if I ever again in Gudauri only here! ＜3

The location is close to the ski lift, the room is good, new, beautiful view from the window, the cleaning is not 100 percent, they took the dishes, forgot to put in a new one, even after calling the reception they didn’t bring it, I had to ask the cleaners in the corridor. Didn't get new capsules for the espresso machine. The breakfast is good, the hotel has a sauna (only Finnish) and a swimming pool with mountain views (included in the price), the jacuzzi did not work. Billiards, bowling, bar for an additional fee, conveniently located in the hotel. We booked a hotel for the sake of a kids club, upon arrival it turned out that there was no babysitting, there was just a playroom in which there were practically no toys ... The reception staff was pleasant, ready to help.

If you come to Gudauri to ski, this hotel is not very convenient for those who love skiing. You need to reserve a car with the hotel to go to the ski resort. The journey takes about 10 minutes. The overall facilities of the hotel are relatively clean and tidy, and the rooms are quite large. The balcony can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. In addition, the restaurant in the hotel is also very good. It is the best restaurant here and the price is not expensive. Except that the location is not very friendly, everything else is OK. PS: The hotel page states that there are ski passes and cable cars, but in fact the cable car fees need to be purchased separately at the ski resort.

This is a terrible hotel. Do not stay here!!! The manager of the hotel was rude and the staff unhelpful. They could barely speak English. We arrived in a storm at 6:30 am after a 18 hour trip. People were left to drag their suitcases up an 800 meter slope in half a meter high of snow. The entrance to the hotel was not cleared of snow that night or in the following days. The entrance to the hotel did not have a mat and thus was a slip hazard and in spite of asking the staff on a daily basis to put a mat down so people would not fall and hurt themselves, the staff did nothing and neither did the manager. The bed was cardboard hard. The ski rental shop was on a lower level so people had to climb with their uncomfortable ski shoes up narrow stairs with no rail to hold on to, to access the ski storage room only to be screamed at by the unfriendly manager. The staff did not help with suitcases in any shape or form. Taxis arriving near the hotel entrance skidded on the ice and very nearly missed hitting my friend who half a meter to the right would have landed up in hospital. The ski slope was accessible but demanded a 5 minute walk up the slope. Breakfast was very very basic. Stale bread, a few croissants, jams some cucumber and tomatoes cheese and on good days scrambled eggs. The hotel has an atm machine thank gif because the nearest change is a 25 minute walk away in the snow. There is no village or shops for a nice apres ski experience. The slopes are wide and not very crowded. Although I enjoyed them I am not a super good skier I believe they mostly suit people with a basic level of skiing. So not a great place to go skiing and definitely not the hotel you’d want to stay at.
