Find the Cheap Papagou-Holargos Hotels

We stayed for 10 days. Lovely one bed apartment, clean, modern, everything you need in the kitchen, (incl. washing machine), comfortable beds, great shower room, good size patio. Really can't fault the apartment at all. The location was great for us too, 10 mins from the metro, which is a must, it's so cheap 9 euros for a 5 day pass, and takes you all over Athens. 10 min metro ride from the apartment to the centre/Square. Ticket from the metro to the airport is 9 euros one way, also good value. The local restaurant is great, good quality food, and there's a couple of supermarkets, veg/fruit produce store, bakery with AMAZING cakes, all 5 mins walk from the apartment. Communication with the owner was good, without being intrusive. It was very hot going in July, wouldn't visit that time of year again, as you'd definitely need a pool! But well worth visiting April/May/June time. Thank you to Marie, the extra little touches were much appreciated x

Hotel is new , well appointed and fitout to high standard . A warm welcome from reception on arrival . Beautiful space has been created , light filled , minimalist and elegant . Location excellent. Easy to get in to the centre to see the sights and also proximity to the airport . A beautiful space to return to after touring Athens sights . Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Rainwater shower excellent pressure and appreciated the toiletries . Balcony with chair and lovely city outlook . Breakfast on 4th floor terrace with view of city . Excellent selection from cereals , yoghurt , continental , bacon , eggs , mushrooms and coffee . A special thanks to Marina who is delightful and dealt with requests with a smile and made excellent macchiato and flat white . We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit in September .

My husband needed to be seen at the Henry Dunant hospital which is conveniently located nearby. We stayed three nights. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly face and told we were being upgraded to a larger room which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself has two good sized single beds pushed together. The mattress is very comfortable although softer than I'm used to. There is a large sofa (possibly a sofabed), plus a large armchair as well as a couple of upright chairs where it's possible to sit and eat. A fridge, kettle, complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. Many storage possibilities. The bathroom is very stylish. We liked the shower design. Breakfast offers plenty of choice, good coffee. We decided to eat in the restaurant and enjoyed tasty, freshly cooked meals. All the staff are very friendly which adds to the charm of the hotel. When we return to Athens we will be staying here again without a doubt.

It doesn't have a metro stop nearby, the area is not the best, tucked into an alley. Room service every 3 days and no breakfast. Elevator that fits only 1 person with suitcase and goes up to the 4th floor. The fifth one was a terrace and they converted the roof into 2 rooms. From the fourth, you go up to the roof-room on foot from the stairs and loaded with your things. The room has the essentials and is generally tidy. The shower-of-course-clogged. Fortunately there is a private parking space for €5 per day. For 1, maximum 2 nights and only for some business obligation. Unacceptably expensive for what it offers, (€70-75/night for 1 person).
