Airport pick-up and drop-off are convenient, and the reception service at the front desk is attentive. The room is neat, clean and elegantly decorated. Good breakfast
Five minutes from the railway station. Very modern and well maintained. A short walk from the City Center. The fitness center/spa/pool/ sauna is excellent.
The best hotel in Cork, but unfortunately it is a bit far from the city center, more than 3 kilometers to the train station, and it is not very convenient to take the bus. The room area is not very large, and the room facilities are quite complete. The hotel service is very good, and it can respond quickly. When checking out, they also extended the room. The hotel breakfast is in the form of ordering and buffet, but the variety of buffet is very limited, but the taste of the order is very good.
Very Good

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.
Great stay at the Maldron Hotel Cork
We stayed at the Maldron Hotel Cork and had a very positive experience. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes from the centre, allowing you to explore the city easily.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. In addition, the buffet breakfast is varied and of good quality.
A hotel recommended for its location, comfort and good service. We would definitely stay again.
The number one hotel in Cork, with an excellent location, the river lee is right under the window, and the breakfast is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the National University of Ireland Cork and an 8-minute walk to the British Market.
The room is small and the facilities are old. But the hotel has a history and a story. Great location.
The front desk staff is friendly.

GGuest UserGreat location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.
GGuest UserThe Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserAre stay was wonderful. Staff very friendly. We had open buffet breakfast we enough options to choose from. Room very clean. Option of sparkling or still water was waiting on the table for us plus coffee or tea on the room. We had great sleep beds very comfortable. Will be definitely back for our next trip in Cork
GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.
AAnonymous UserVery good located hotel! Everything you need to see in Cork is reachable on foot. The room was very spacious for two people with an extra sofa to sit on next to the bed. Also the bathroom was spacious with places to put things on. The hotel was very clean. Can 100% recommend to stay there if you need a place to sleep in a good location!
GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.
I will return for sure.
GGuest UserThe hotel was really lovely, great location and staff. The only problem I could find with the hotel was the breakfast, I had a full irish breakfast every morning at a few different times and it was always too dry. I think the hotel must prepare many, keep them under heat lamps and then just add a freshly cooked egg when they are ordered.
GGuest UserIt was stunning scenery. The family room was great and nice and clean. Wow the breakfast was to die for. The staff were lovely and friendly. When I'm that way again I most definitely will book there
SSamRochestown Park Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Check in was smooth as was checking out.
We used the leisure facilities and was given towels to use and the lockers were combination locks; so no need to have coins on you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We added breakfast when we arrived; which was €12.95 for continental breakfast or €17.50 for full Irish with continental included.
AAlison DaveyFabulous and friendly staff. A huge asset.
Above the ground floor the hotel was pretty grim.
So uncared for it feels grubby. See pictures of the room, view and the only plug socket in the room (to use the kettle the entire kettle tray needed to be balanced on a chair infront of it)
Room hot with no fan and the noise that went on until after 1am by screeching young adults (unchecked by staff) meant that opening a window wasn’t an option. Very expensive for a hotel room that should be in the £40 bracket not over £100
