The loughrea hotel is amazing First of all when you arrive the hotel staff are very friendly Damien the general manager is a great person and his staff is amazing I'm running a Christmas craft fair in December with them I spoke with Clayton yesterday regarding the Christmas fair and I must say he was a dream to deal with. Food is absolutely beautiful The bar is cosy Not expensive Really enjoyed my stay Bed was very comfortable Large room. So if you are single it's a lovely place To come and visit. Can't wait to be back again 😄 Congratulations 👏 on running the hotel in a very professional way Are friendly..

Circumstances meant we were staying in Athenry for an extended period of time, I stayed here on my own for a few nights. It’s an interesting place, with a lot of personal bits and bobs dotted everywhere. You can’t beat the welcome, warm and friendly. The bar staff are particularly good, Tom especially. I stayed in a triple room, which was comfortable and clean although very dated. The floorboards definitely need attention, it was relatively ok when I was on my own, however when another couple stayed it the room next door, it was unbelievably noisy, it didn’t help that they also had the TV blaring. I had to ask to move rooms, which wasn’t ideal, although I did then manage a good nights sleep. The food is pub grub, generous portions and to be fair, it’s tasty. Regretfully I personally wouldn’t stay again, just too dated with too many personal bits in the breakfast room, under the stairs and in the corridors. The owner was lovely, really friendly as were the staff. Just a bit too many cons and not enough pros.

I just don’t know where to start with this 5 ⭐️ review. We held our wedding at the Raheen Woods Hotel on 07/09/24. We had an absolute ball. From the first moment we met Oisin, we knew that this was the hotel for us. Nothing is too much trouble. Any ideas you have for your wedding, they will do their absolute best to create the dream. The staff at the hotel are the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. Oisin ( General Manager) and Catherine (Banqueting Manager) and also Lisa on the admin side, are just the dream team to deal with. We couldn’t have had the day we had without all their help and assistance. Anything that we asked for, they catered for it. Honestly our day was unbelievable. We didn’t have to think about or worry about anything as they had it all under control. It is a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and the food is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this hotel but if you’re looking for a wedding venue, you will go a long way before you will find one as good as this or a team as good as Oisin and Catherine. AMAZING!!!!!
