Outstanding
AAK520Excellent onsen hotel located in 雫石盯. Easy to find but need a car better. The scenary is quiet and beautiful. Onsen itself is so good. The japanese style room is big and clean with a toilet. Tatami bed is very comfortable. Only downside is the room next to our room is a large room living 8 ppl, so easily listen ppl talking and walking in and out with door closing noise. But host is so helpful that he went to talk to them about the noise. Service is very good. Recommended.

GGuest UserStayed one night on the last day of the tour. It was mentioned as the best S-ranked hotel. The room was a Japanese-style room with a low bed and was gentle on my knees. The bath was large, and there was nothing to block the front of the open-air bath. Meals are Japanese at table seats in a non-crowded space, both at night and in the morning. It was delicious.

GGuest UserThe next day, I stayed at Mt.Mitsuishi to climb the autumn leaves. Because I chose a cheap plan, it was a room without a bus on the cliff side of the east building. The room itself was spacious and there was no problem with the view from the outside terrace. The hot spring is a little far from the main building's ”Taishaku no Yu: 40-42 degrees”, but it's good enough for a stomach before dinner. I went to ”Hakusen no Yu: 42-44 degrees” in the East Building before breakfast, but it wasn't that hot and I felt comfortable. Steak and tempura seemed to be popular at the dinner buffet. Well, the material is so-so, so it was reasonable, but I was satisfied. I set the time to 17:45, but quite a few people had already eaten. Of the three major noodles in Iwate, there was one other than Wanko soba. I had Morioka cold noodles and Morioka jaja noodles (udon). The jaja noodles were more chewy and I liked it. The nostalgic suiton-like souvenir was also delicious. The starry sky looked beautiful, so I participated in the star night from 20:00. When I left the lobby, I had the staff explain various things while looking at the stars in the sky, and it was easy to understand. There were only 6 people, but if the weather is fine at this location, I'd like you to participate. It's free. After the end, I walked to the front of the lift platform, lay down on the bench, and enjoyed the starry sky. I think it would be more beautiful in winter. The next morning, the sea of clouds spread out and it was spectacular. Breakfast starts at 7:00, but there were many people who went out to climb mountains, so there was a line even before it opened. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of products, and the Koiwai Farm milk and freshly baked bread were popular. I went to the Omatsukura gate parking lot at 8:00 for my planned climb to Mt. I gave up and changed to a walking route after climbing the lift, so I went back to the hotel and received a discount ticket for the lift. 2,000 yen round trip for 3 lifts is now 1,500 yen. There was a coin laundry probably for skiers. I didn't use it because it was my first night, but I am grateful to climbers.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We had previously stayed at the Towada Prince Hotel, which is part of the same chain, and although it was small, the overall impression was good, so we felt safe staying at this hotel. As soon as we arrived, we were told that the large public bath was contaminated with Legionella bacteria, so we decided to shower in the unit bath in our room for both nights. However, the shower curtain in the extremely small unit bath smelled moldy as expected, and we felt sad while taking a shower. As compensation, we were given a free drink voucher to use at dinner, but the price of draft beer was set at 950 yen, which was a resort price, so it was a bit of a letdown. The rooms are better than those at business hotels in the city, and the food depends on the item, but there are no tomatoes in the salad, and the frozen food and bread are not very tasty, so I don't think it's worth the price. There are also many group guests, and if you run into a guest with bad manners, it's a disaster. We had dinner and breakfast twice, but the menu never changed, so I thought it was not suitable for consecutive stays. Since it is a ski resort hotel, the lobby is not luxurious (it's designed so that snow can be brought in), and honestly, I don't think there is any need for anyone other than skiers to choose this hotel. In any case, this experience made me realize that the Prince brand had fallen to the ground.
