This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.
Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.
I booked a hotel that is close to Kawazu to see the cherry blossoms. The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel. There are strict time periods for checkin and checkout. There is a curfew from 23:00 to 6:00 in the evening. Dinner is at 18:00 and breakfast is at 8:00, but it will not be served to the room like the most traditional Japanese style. You will still eat on the first floor, which is more respectful of privacy and freedom. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Kawazu Station, and there is a pick-up service, but I didn't make a reservation because I wanted to enjoy the flowers on the way.
As for the service, the receptionist was really patient and gentle. Because only a few people can speak English, the female general used a translator to translate it into English for me. In the end, I helped her change it into Japanese and Chinese 👐.
The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are generally clean. The open-air bath faces the sea. It is really invincible if the weather is good, but it is not hot spring water, just an ordinary bath. I didn't use the public one so I don't know the situation.
But! The hotel has a really great view, with the sea in front and cherry blossoms in the back. You can watch the sunrise in the morning. The elevator has the estimated sunrise time for each day of this month. Unfortunately, it rained on the day I stayed there, so I didn't see the sunrise and sunset.
In particular, the dinner and breakfast were invincible. It rained and was windy in Hejin on the first day I arrived, so I had no choice but to stay in the hotel to watch the sea. I was really disappointed, but because the meal package was great, I enjoyed it as if I were just going on vacation. There was also a free beer in the lobby every afternoon, free ice cream after dinner, and a massage chair. It felt like feeding pigs every day. The most fortunate thing was that I stayed for one night, and the sky cleared up the next day. The cherry blossoms in Hejin were so beautiful, and it was worth the trip.
In general, the price-performance ratio is slightly worse, but if the weather is good, it should be better than my experience.

The Kawazu Nanadaru Onsen Otsukaso offers a pleasant stay in Kawazu for those traveling for business or leisure. From the hotel, Kawazu Station is just 9km away. Keeping busy is easy, with Saruta Depth, Kawazu Nanadaru Car Camping Ground and Amagisou Tachiyori-yu Hot Spring all nearby. Outstanding
AAiwandexiaopengyouIt's a great hotel. Once you make a reservation, someone will call you to confirm your arrival time and dining time. You can also book a car to pick you up at Hejin Station. Because we didn’t confirm what time we would arrive at the hotel, and we didn’t book a car. Unexpectedly, when we arrived at Hejin Station, there was an uncle waiting for me holding a sign with my name. It was so touching! The environment of the hotel is very good. There are only 7 rooms in total. The service staff are very nice. Although their English is not good, they try to communicate with translators and basically meet our needs.
You can book a private bath time when you stay in the hotel. The private bath is not big, but it is more than enough for two people to soak in. It is very comfortable and the milk provided for bathing is delicious. The hotel's environment is very new, the breakfast and dinner are delicious and plentiful, and the overall value for money is actually quite high.
The hotel is actually only six or seven minutes' walk from Hejin Station, which is still very close. There are also convenience stores, supermarkets and drugstores opposite Hejin Station, which is very convenient. Recommended!
GGuest UserMistake hit a very traditional old-fashioned Japanese hot spring hotel, surrounded by a strong rural feeling, quiet and slow pace.
From Kawatsu Station, the bus is about 15 minutes.
It's about an hour and a half from Tufei Port by boat.
There are several hot springs here, most of them are open-air, and private soup can be used for free. After soaking, it is very slippery, you need to take a bath in the hot spring place, and the room cannot take a bath. But there is a bathroom
Sleeping listening to the sound of the waterfall behind the square, the feeling is very unusual. The background of white noise is easy to fall asleep.
You can eat here in the evening, kaiseki cuisine! !
The boss is very good. I arrived late on the first day and it rained and I didn't make an appointment for dinner. He drove me to buy it at 711 three kilometers away.
Although it is a little inconvenient here, it really has local customs. It is a different feeling.
LLEEHotel is about 15 to 20 mins walk from Kawazu train station, no worries as they provide free shuttle service to and fro hotel and Kawazu station, however do take note of timetable.
Room was big and view was fantastic as facing the sea, breakfast was sumptuous too especially the miso soup and raddish and beef stew.
We came here for Sakura but in view of cold snap blooming season was delayed this year, Kawazu town can be boring as most shop including restaurant closed after 5pm.
We were also told that there is no taxi available after 5pm.
Overall stay was great including onsen, will definitely book again if I am back in Kawazu.
GGuest UserA very nice Japanese-style house. Every household should have a garden view. The view of the courtyard outside the room is very good. There are hot springs inside and outside the room. It is a 10-minute walk to Kawazu Station. Minami-Izu is not far away. At night, there is a nearby village with no street lights. , if you don’t mind, I think it’s a good experience.
No late check-out will incur an additional fee. It is recommended to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste for a fee.
WwhateveryHot spring Japanese-style hotel tatami public bathroom homestay is very close to the station. Outside the window is Hejin Sakura. The hotel name is not matched by the display on Trip.com . I didn’t dare to confirm that it was actually a soup house.
The boss is very good. It rains the next day. Bubble hot springs. It’s really good to experience the medicine stone bath. The medicine stone bath needs an extra fee of 1980. Dan is still worth experiencing.
PPANGTake the elderly to see the Kawaji Sakura, which is just in full bloom in mid-February. Very happy. There is a bus to the hotel at the bus stop near Hejin Station. At the information desk, we showed the hotel address, and the uncle staff instructed to get off at the ”Ciyanyuanqian” stop, which is the opposite! It is also convenient (note that the bus schedule is very sparse, the journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is 400 yen per person). On the return trip, the hotel has a free car to take us away. The environment of the hotel is elegant and clean, and the dinner and breakfast are all right. There is night cherry during the check-in period, and the hotel has a free car arrangement after dinner (not to imagine China and the United States, it is a pity not to see it). The hotel has to take the stairs and the bathroom is outside the room, so the elderly should pay attention! Overall satisfactory.
LLThe staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby.
However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot.
However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much.
NNU-IIIn fact, it is a very unique hotel, suitable for backpackers. It is better to call it a hotel than a B&B. You can feel the concept that the proprietress wants to create, but the accommodation is actually not very convenient.
The room is for sleeping only, the bathroom is shared, and you need to go to the shared bathroom to take a shower. For traveling alone, nothing. You can also get to know tourists from various countries.
The location is far from the station, but it is close to the sea and you can feel the tranquility in the mountains very well. Maybe it was a bad season and the area was very quiet. This B&B should be very busy in autumn and winter.
