The only budget hotel I've been in that has Netflix. Our room was super spacious and it has that Japanese/Korean vibe where as soon as you open your hotel room, you get your own mini foyer where you leave your shoes. Then you open another door that leads to the actual room. There's no closet, but there's a boutique-type of clothes hook and some hangers to hang your clothes in. The bed was big and comfortable. Room was also well furnished -- plenty enough tables and chairs for a hotel room, which I love. There's a corner table with 2 sofas on each side. Then a coffee table, also with 2 seats on each side. Then the bedside table.. and a vanity/utility table with a vanity seat. It also has a fridge and your usual hotel room supplies. I would have given this a perfect score, if not for the staff. Most of them, if not all, were unfriendly. Hotel guests like to feel welcomed and the front desk people there, unfortunately, seem to give off that cold energy like they are not happy to be there or something. And the bidet was quite dirty.. eww!
We stayed from Feb 20-22 with our friends and were assigned the 3rd floor overlooking the beach. We were assigned a corner room facing the sunrise and the sunset views which were awesome. The rooms were very clean and truly enjoyed the restaurant where we ate dinner there both nights including the acoustic musical entertainment. Most of all, we really appreciated the kindness, warmth and hospitality of all the staff from the front desk, the room staff and the restaurant, including the pool staff. Cant wait to come back there next time!
I am a diy bride. During our search for wedding reception, the superb effort and service of the Marketing staff made us chose the hotel. The preparation for our prenup and wedding went smoothly because of their assistance. Facility wise, interior of the reception hall was simple yet elegant. Sound system, projectors and screens were also provided. The food was the best! Our guests loved the food! The hotel staff especially the front desk and marketing provided us with the best service. Thank you Mansion Garden Hotel Team for the best service!

Rooms It is quite spacious, clean, and there was no foul smell. Kudos to Housekeeping staffs. Thank you for accomodating all our requests. Keep it up! I like the ambiance, swimming pool temperature, and how I wish there is bar/resto staff available to take orders at the beach. Front office The area desk should be bigger and more staff to accomodate faster check in and out. FO Staffs should be more approachable and have pleasing smiles. Restaurant **More food selections and availability (since the area is far from the city) ** Waiting time is longer as expected for ordering in room services and dine in. Example: (1 to 2 hours waiting time) Nevertheless, they apologized and compensate us. (thanks to the F&B supervisor for manning up & taking actions) ** Food cost is quite expensive yet the taste, presentation and service was not good but can be improve as well. Some of the staffs are friendly, approachable and helpful. We hope, when we come back there will be improvements especially at the restaurant/bar. We will definetely come back because of the rooms, cleanliness, beach view and swimming pool.
I dont understand the good reviews. Maybe it depends on a not so high standard. Of youre that, then go ahead. But if your not, continue reading. First. This hotel does not have it's own website so cancellation will be a hell. The phone numbers jn the website do not work. ***? The hotel concierge will be of no help. They will only say, it's a third party reservation and they cant do anything about it. (Maybe if the hotel has it's own booking website, them maybe you can help their customers!) So if you want to be hassled just to cancel, if thats youre thing then this hotel is for you. Goodluck with that. Second. The cheap rate is a bait because in reality, they will have additional P2k charge. So Be careful when booking online because the real rate is at the bottom of the webpage way after the 'continue with reservation' button! So chances are, you will clikc the 'continue with reservation button' thinking that youre just paying the bait cheap price because before that button, no other rates are mentioned! I fell victim and it's my fault. Im not used to cheap tricks like this specially when Marriott never pulled one on me. Great. Had i known i will pay much more then i should have booked in a much much better hotel. Oh wait. I cant cancel because cancellation is just gonna be a hassle. Third. The room is dated and needs alot of TLC if not a total reno. They should include the disclaimer-objects in the picture appear much better than they are in real life) , There are a lot of better hotels for better prices and services so please, scout for other hotels in subic. For the price i paid. It didnt even include a breakfast buffet but what the heck, i dont even want to be seen in this hotel.
CP is the first choice in Subic Bay! The room is clean and the CP value is high. It is worth recommending. The only drawback is that the location requires a car, but the cost is not high, so it is still worth a stay. I will come here often~
Let’s start with the good. 1) all the staff are helpful and friendly. 2) the location is good if you need to be near the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. 3) the restaurant beside the hotel serves really good Korean food. Reasonably priced too. The bad? I’m not sure if I just got the worst room or if all the rooms have the same issues but here goes:1) the bathroom is dark and the water supply is weak. They have a pail and tabo (water dipper) in the shower as a back up which only means that management knows about the problem but does not want to invest in a stronger water supply system. 2) the linen had holes and tears from cigarette burns and goodness knows what else. The pillows are lumpy too. 3) the airconditioner was noisy AND weak.It was so hot I slept with my shirt off. 4) the doorknob was loose and the door kept catching on the floor. 5) spotty WiFi. 6) the neighbouring establishment has a live band. If you are a light sleeper, good luck going to bed before 11 pm. Honestly, the only redeeming value this hotel has are the employees. There are much newer and probably better maintained hotels in the area.
They are very accommodating and helpful. They helped us recover from our supposed accommodation for two nights. But then, it is much better. They picked us up, gave us a discount and a freebie, and because it's Christmas Eve, they allowed us to use their tables and chairs to celebrate. Their rooms are simple, clean, and comfy. The service was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended 💪

DDoiKnowYouStaff is great very helpful . Room is clean and toiletries are provided. Will stay again next time:
Service was great from the front desk to the Bar and the rest of the staff. The attendant from the rooftop pool was very helpful and was great helping us with dinner at the pool. The bar was amazing and the staff behind the bar provided hospitality at its finest. Going above and beyond making my drinks and providing recommendations where to go around in the local area. Big shouts to Julia and Yancy. Overall the staff here is top tier and I’ll be coming back because of that!
GGuest UserAs the title suggests, it has to be the no 1 worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms are rough around the edges, and showing it's age, there was a hole in the roof in the bathroom, the bath looked dirty, there were stains over the carpet and the whole place had an unclean feel about it. The corridor was full of kids riding bikes up and down and making a lot of noise, not what you need after you had spent 26 hours travelling! The food for breakfast was just disgusting, there is no proper coffee machine or milk for that matter so you have to use the sachets of creamer, you take one sip and head for Starbucks around the front of the building! Just avoid!
AAsdf3247We had to extend another night in Olongapo and we decided to try this hotel inside the Freeport Zone. It was just an additional 400 a night from our previous accommodation outside the base yet it made all the difference. Breakfast was already included, tho we didnt get to try it bc we left early in the morning. The room was spacious enough and the staff was really nice, from the security guard to the front desk. We tried their resto and ordered yakisoba, beef dumpling soup and banana turon. It took quite a while before the food arrived but it was worth the wait. Food was delicious and priced reasonably. Will difinitely stay here again for our next Subic vacay.
AAnonymous UserThis resort provides all in one relaxation, with the great view and clean beach side of Subic Bay. Rooms are quite old but still comfortable to sleep in. Hoping they can change the headboard to reduce the wood chips that falls off since it is a bit old. The entire resort is great, they just need to improve their rooms and the lobby. Staff is great, kudos to the Bar Staff, specifically Arvin, during night shift. Also to the breakfast restaurant server during our stay, one of the longest staying employees 15 yrs, whom Ive met years ago, and still there. Just forgot kuya /tatay name. Still same exemplary service.
MmarjamesgI booked their family room with Ocean view. The rooms are good with balcony that having a good view of the dock and the ocean itself. The room is spacious when it comes to size and it is really good for a long stay. You can prepare and cook your food in the hotel. It is also accessible to restaurants, bars, spa, and 711 shops wherein you can have your normal needs. In front of the hotel is a park wherein if you want to have a run probably the best place to stay. Overall the hotel is ideal to stay for both business and pleasure. They have a very nice playground for kids to spend time with. Though here's my comments that needs to be taken care. 1. The hotel has no elevator 2. The hotel has no swimming pool and swimming on the ocean is not permitted as well. 3. I don't find slippers inside the room. 4. The late check out is maximum 1:00pm but they gave us until 2PM which I really appreciate it. I can reccomend for all the travellers to stay on this hotel the people are nice and hospitable. I will surely be back on this hotel.
SSherwin34At long last, we have stayed here for my birthday celebration with my family. From check in, the front desk staff asked us to wait until 2pm since they said that’s the standard time. We waited downstairs because there are no seats at the lobby. Nobody approached us at 2pm so i reminded them that we are waiting. I noticed that front staff people were lack of training. They don’t smile that much and not welcoming. Elevator platform at the 4th floor is not even so a lot of guests got stumbled and its dangerous because there are no warning sign. Our room is great. Cozy, clean and spacious. The veranda is boring. No tables and chairs and towel rack for wet clothes. What i like most is the bathroom! Very spacious and neat as well. I love the jacuzzi that can fit up to two people. The only problem is the bathroom door. Its very old and need to be updated. You can peak from the outside so there’s no privacy for people using the toilet. Room amenities has coffemaker, and safebox. Television channels are a little bit blurry. When I requested for a pitcher of water, i have to follow up for 4 times. Swimming pool is huge and nice. The slide for kids is not slippery so its a waste of time using that. I love the sand and the pool which you can feel like youre in a beach. The problem that time was they have an event so there were no beachbeds set up that time and there’s no staff assisting guests who’s gonna swim. I have to look for people to ask for a towel. The buffet breakfast has a lot of choices. We enjoyed the food especially the kids. The view of the yachts are instagrammable. What I noticed from the first time i set my foot on the resort are the staffs. They should be train how to properly do their job. Some they do but mostly not. For a room that is so expensive, the expectation is very high and i never meet those expectation. The place is very promising but the downside is the service.
Iilocano2022I was on the 2nd floor overlooking the road, but it wasn't noisy. Other colleagues were put in one room on the 3rd floor and the others on the 4th floor, no idea why they didn't put us close as it was definitely not busy, but maybe because they had reserved twin rooms and the first shown were mistakenly both doubles. My room was small but clean, a squeeze to get into the shower which also takes some thinking about on how to operate it. There was no wardrobe and just two hangers on the back of the door. There was one broken power outlet by the bed so recharging was done by unplugging the tv, which did not matter as there no watchable channels due to no signal. There is a kettle and two cups but no coffee or anything at all. Breakfast was abysmal, small and you have to pay cash for an second coffee. The only plus I can think of is that you can sit outside with a beer and overlook the water, even that though meant you had three bands/singers competing with each the hotels own plus either side too. There must be better places so I can't recommend it at all. Oh, and the internet is non existent!
