Outstanding
Our stay at Seven Stars Resort in Turks and Caicos was absolutely fabulous! A special thanks to Chama, Ashley, and Jay at Seven restaurant for their impeccable service, and to Peterson at the adult pool for making our time there even more enjoyable. We were also warmly welcomed with rum punch and a tour by another staff member (whose name I cant quite remember but started with 'Sh'), who was so kind and helpful in showing us around the property. The food and drinks were excellent, and the entire stay was incredibly relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout. The resort’s grounds and pools are stunning, and Grace Bay Beach has the softest sand and the bluest, turquoise water! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
GGuest UserSecond time coming to T&C, but first time staying here. Classic saying of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” applied to this visit. The property was nice, the beach (as usual) was immaculate with beautiful water…BUT that won’t change as you choose most of the accommodations on Grace Bay. Your overall experience however can change dramatically from choosing one property over the other. The grounds are kept very clean and neat, with lush perfectly landscaped gardens throughout. The ocean view suites are very spacious and nice. However… We came back from the beach our second day here and found that we had no running water at all. Called the front desk went back and forth for 10 minutes before maintenance finally came and told us that they had shut the water in our room off because the water heater had a leak, and now they wanted to come back and replace it. Less than ideal when you have dinner plans in 40 minutes and no running water after a day out. So we leave them to do their thing in the room and leave for the night. Come back around midnight and go to take a shower…water runs, but won’t get hot!!! We’re pretty pissed at this point and decide to sleep it off. The next morning we go down to the front desk, and a manager “escorts” us back to the room to feel the water as if we don’t know what hot water feels like only to say “yeah, there’s no hot water”…thanks so much for the ground breaking info! Maintenance comes back to the room again and says they need to work on the water heater….again. After a day and a half of no water/cold water we were given a fruit/cheese platter with a genetic “sorry for the inconvenience” note. At the end of the whole ordeal and a little back and forth we ended up getting a discounted rate for our last night and felt that was sufficient. Overall, we were happy with the property itself, and aside from the water debacle we had a nice stay. I’ll break down the cliff notes below: -Property: 4/5, just beautiful all around. Kept very clean and tidy. The only gripe I have is there’s not much relief from the heat in the way of AC. Your best bet during lunch is getting one of the seats at the beach bar so the fan hits you. -Beach: 4/5, kept immaculate. Crystal clear water and pristine white sand. The issue was the seating. The loungers were all placed so tightly together that you’re on top of each other at times. People get out early and take the front row then never return to their chairs all day. Very annoying especially when the front row is all gridlocked and you have to walk all the way around to get into the water. Not sure why the other resorts on the beach seem to have a nice pattern but here they couldn’t get it down. -Pool: 3.5/5, no frills but a nice size and was always kept clean. The swim up bar was nice to have although service was often very slow. (Island time to the max) same deal with chairs, people come out early throw towels down and never come back. Still easy to find chairs mid day though. -Room: 3
GGuest UserWymara Francesca Ruth Carlande If you’re second-guessing on booking this place, don’t! I’m telling you now, you clearly get your money’s worth here. The place is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, the views are beautiful, the bed is so comfortable, the shower pressure is amazing, the service is amazing, there’s just so many amazing things I don’t even know where to start. So far I’ve enjoyed all of the food. When I got here my room was not ready so I went to Zest and I had the red snapper. 10 out of 10 recommend! My waitress was Carlande, and I saw her practically every day that I went to eat. She was amazing and so sweet! Always checked in and asked how I was doing, just made me really comfortable. I came on this trip alone so everyone that I interacted with was amazing. All of their staff made me feel welcome; however, my top three would definitely be Carlande, Francesca, and Ruth. Francesca took these amazing pictures of me and got different angles and multiple pictures! People don’t always do that and when I tell you she took some FIRE pictures, I cannot wait to post them. Ruth, I would literally say hi to Ruth every time I saw her because she just had this loving spirit to her. She was so helpful and always kind. Any time I would talk to these ladies it was a great conversation and they were very sweet. Each of them made my experience here so comfortable. This was my first solo trip out of the country and first time to the island. I really appreciate each of these ladies and how comfortable they made me feel, I appreciate all of the staff and the entire resort like I absolutely will come here again. Oh, also the breakfast in the morning, there’s definitely good food for you eat. My favorite thing was the omelette station and the orange juice. The barbecue that they have on the beach on Saturday night, the brisket is so good! I also had steak at indigo and that was great as well. You can’t go wrong here. I’m not much of a drinker but they definitely seem to look out on the liquor when they make drinks so if you’re a big fan of alcohol you’ll definitely enjoy your drinks here.
KKimberly FThis was our first time in Turks & Caicos and we booked the Windsong based on a recommendation from friends. We were pleased to discover it was everything they said and then some! The staff was friendly, the room was incredible, the beach was spectacular. The room includes a daily breakfast which was much better than a typical continental breakfast. It includes several fresh options and is served by accommodating staff. The beach was pristine and there's a reef area for snorkeling right outside the hotel. This was not an all-inclusive experience which for us made it much more pleasant and personal. The food (and drinks) at the 2 on-site restaurants was excellent and probably much better than you would get with an all inclusive package. The general manager (Annette) walked around the property daily to ensure all guests were happy and taken care of. We were impressed by all the wait staff and bartenders, especially Youvline, Angenie, Marcson, who went out of their way to make us feel like family. The concierges Khalil and Garey were friendly, knowledgeable and quick to assist with all our needs. We just left last week and are already looking forward to our next trip back to the Windsong.
We arrived for a short 5 day trip to the Ritz Carlton Turks and Caicos after launching our second Cafe in Minnesota (we needed the break); Property is very clean, rooms are breath taking with AWESOME views and the people are the most friendliest... LETS GET TO THE NIK NAK part of it. When we arrived our room was not ready, so we went to the next best thing (The Bar in the Lobby). We met the Bartender Whitefield, he was a great conversationist, but needed a few pointers on mixology. We saw a gentleman enter the Bar who seemed slightly angry, we believe he was management because of his attire -long sleeve white shirt, well groomed with long loc extension)- My husband and I were like WOW! This is not how we speak to our employees despite the circumstance. We waited a few minutes and asked to be closed out (Awkward feeling after they started arguing). We walked a bit to familarize ourselves with the property, BEAUTIFUL. Then finally an agent found us to inform that our room was ready, LOVE IT. We had a great dinner at BLT steak house, where Evanson was very accommodating. My husband wanted a night cap after we heard the entertainer singing OMG it was beyond crowded, with no seating. We stood by the Bar, to order a drink, and NO WAY to our surprise it was the same manager from earlier, arguing again with a different Bartender, this time we managed to get his name Akem. It was extremely crowded and understaffed but they were still trying to be accommodative. Another gentlemen in a suit, was walking asking everyone if they are okay and how can he assist (Ritz Carlton Standard). We dont usually comment on these sites, but we do read the reviews, and us being managers with 2 cafes, it's hard and at times frustrating, BUT we try our best to be civil with our staff with no conflicts in public or private. We reported the issue to the Front Desk on the Manager behaviour, it was not professional but embarassing and humiliating. Hopefully we will be back.
We stayed at The Sands on Grace Bay twice, November 2022 and November 2023. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - hence the reason we returned in Nov 2023 after our initial stay in Nov 2022. We stayed in a suite with a separate bedroom, living room, fully functional kitchen and balcony. The staff are lovely and very responsive to your needs. The beach and the beach facilities are on par with what you would expect from a top quality resort on Grace Bay. Even at busy times we always found sun chairs and umbrellas available. The sand is pristine powdery white and the water is crystal clear. We are certain that we will return to The Sands on Grace Bay in the near future.
