Find the Cheap Belleville Hotels

Marcie was exceptional. I got locked out if my room and she helped me. She stayed longer than usual to get the rooms ready and faithful to her commitment to finish her job overtime. Smiles for miles. We stay often at HIE properties as they are normally clean, comfortable, affordable, and in convenient locations. They don’t have a ton of frills… sleep, hit the pool or fitness center, and we leave. Stayed at this property july 23, 2022 for one night with my wife and 15 year old daughter. 10 minute drive from a softball tournament with convenient access to I-94 so the location is good. Check-in was fine. Speedy and friendly. Breakfast is essentially the same at all of the HIE locations with minor changes depending on the day of the week. Got to room 315 which is a King suite. Sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave, and a ‘kitchen’ sink in the room. Have a look at the photos for the large red stain next to the sofa. Not sure it is was wine, pizza, or blood. Hotel was sold out so I didn’t bother asking to move. Woke up to Anya everywhere in the ‘kitchen’ area. Photos show a large group on the ceiling…all the black dots are small black ants. We didn’t use the area except for 2 bottles of water in the fridge so I have no idea what brought them in, but ceiling, wall, and counter had ants. Needless to say the cleanliness wasn’t up to par. Had only 2 bath towels for a suite. Asked and they brought up one more. Had sheets and pillows for sofa bed but no blanket. Called again and they brought up a single blanket. Shower was very hard to find middle ground between ice and burning. Set room to 70 degrees and the unit ran all night trying to keep up. Only 75 outside so it’s not like we were in a heat wave where the air should have trouble. As mentioned we use HIE often. So often I’m a platinum elite member. I wouldn’t stay here again and would choose another location. There are plenty in the area along with other hotel brands.

We had an overnight stay here recently. The hotel seems relatively new and has the amenities you'd expect from this brand. However, a couple of concerns to be noted - The AC in our room could not be turned off either from the unit itself or using the thermostat on the wall. The fan was blowing cold air and we weren't comfortable. The shampoo container had no shampoo in it. Once someone is already in the shower, they realize this so not easy to call up the housekeeping quickly to fix that. The breakfast was Ok but nothing worth special mention except that there were no fruits there.

There is a distance from Detroit, the hotel is not bad in all aspects, recommended

We filed a complaint with IHG hotels on 11.6.2022 at 11:30 am EST seeking a refund for the amount paid for two rooms for one night, because the hotel was negligent in not having security cameras working at the front of the property where we parked our car and someone broke in and stole over $2,000.00 of valuables from our vehicle. We were told by DJ on the IHG Guest Services line that someone would follow up with us within 48 hours- no one ever did. We were also charged an additional $140.00 in error by the hotel, on top of all that we had experienced as guests at the property. We have the police report which we filed and also filed a claim with our insurance company for the items that were stolen. It was alluded to by law enforcement that this was an inside job because it happened right in front of the check in entrance- where someone should be visually monitoring the property. We were also told that the cameras weren't working (how convenient) on the night our car was broken into!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL!!!!! NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE OR THE HASSLE AND THE HOTEL WILL BE SETTING YOU UP TO BE THE NEXT THEFT VICTIM! THEY ARE EXTREMELY NEGLIGENT AND HAVE YET TO FOLLOW-UP WITH US ON OUR COMPLAINT WHICH WAS FILED OVER A WEEK AGO!!!!!!

Please stop dirty house keeping from cleaning my room when in gone. She doesn't wear any type of masks and cough 247 and she steals. Spit in the shower also. 5th time I gotta throw away any open food or drinks. And the room stanks like she did something nasty on purpose. I cleaned the bathroom and shower wit Lysol. I came back after she cleaned and ran the bath water instead of running the shower to rinse. i walked in and there was a line of like 20 people and the dude with the dreads was goin crazy had everyone in and out in like 10 minutes. he deserves a raise. He was cutting up and filling up the schedule within no time. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!
