树树上的贵族The hotel is one of the best resorts in Lake Tahoe. Newly opened, the facilities are new and very clean. Valet $25 per night. It has its own private beach, perfect for golfing. The restaurant caters to Asian tastes. SPA did not make an appointment. But it is estimated to be good. Service is also good. Except for the high price it is worth staying.
GGuest UserMy wife and I went during the week, when the hotel is not very busy. For the price, our room was comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and enabled us to sleep well. The hotel was quiet; the crowd was older and did not disturb us at all. The maid did an excellent job of providing a clean environment in room 250. Everything was in good working order. Hot water arrived immediately in the shower. Valet service is available to move luggage, but one may need to ask for assistance at the front desk. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The two jacuzzi are kept at different temperatures to optimize guest comfort. One is 101 and the other is 104 degrees. The water features are indoors, so they can be used any day of the year. Parking ias ample and close in. Covered parking is limited. The hotel has two restaurants. One is a cafe and the other is fine dining. Reservations are recommended for fine dining. The hotel also has a coffee bar that sells donuts and snacks. Traveler Alert: if you are driving from California on a week day, U.S. 50 has no open restrooms between Fresh Pond and South Lake Tahoe. Expect delays from one lane traffic control and flag men. No restaurants or gas stations were open beyond Fresh Pond. Long stretches had reduced speed limits posted. On State Route 88, we had the same problem between Minden and Pine Grove. The 76 Union Station east of Pine Grove would not allow us to use their restroom either, so we will do no business there in the future. Interstate 80 is recommended as a reliable alternative.
王王The child has spring break and plans to go to Lake Tahoe for a holiday. Because of the dog, and the eldest daughter wants to have a room alone. Thousands of choices, chose this hotel. I felt a bit far from the Hunan shore of Taihao before arriving at the hotel. After arriving, I felt too good value. The hotel built in 1862 should be in the Qing Dynasty in China. The hotel is in a valley wetland and there are many water birds around. The internal facilities are quite new, the area is oversized, you can cook, and the family feels very comfortable. In the morning on the balcony to meet the sun, breathing fresh air, a cup of coffee, looking at the snowy mountains in the distance, really comfortable.
GGuest UserFirst they put us in the wrong room, small queens when we booked king, the door to the refrigerator was broken and the bell said ” yea they are all like that”. They did move us to the correct room. Same door problem. All the entry doors to the rooms were beat up. chips out of the paint. They do not clean your room while you stay and only do it when you check out. This includes no fresh towels and they do not empty the trash cans which are very small. The A/C system did not work very well. When we moved rooms, we forgot to bring our pillow which we brought from home. When we told this to the front desk it seemed like no one really cared. We never did get our pillow back. for the price I would not book here again.
KKimbeauOverall it was a terrific experience, Disappointed in the restaurant, the service was not very good I enjoyed the food. There was a language problem which made it difficult and our order was wrong. The room was wonderful, One of the reasons I always book there is for the experience at the pool and waterfall. The waterfall was not turned on and trying to get service from the woman who checked us in and gave us towels was actually pretty terrible.
I especially want to comment on the service we receive from the bellhop, a wonderful man who went out of his way to give us the best service of all.
FFanny/We came for a ski holiday. It's convenient located at the heavenly resort area, which also means that you need to pay an extra US$25/night for resort fee.
But the hotel doesn't have Bell service or room service at all that i think it's because of Covid. Also it took away our coffee machine in the room which is super inconsiderate. They call it high touch area🤔.
Also the sink was leaking in our bathroom and it drained very slowly which makes it dirtier
