Very Good
MMadison Carolyn KateCheck in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.
WwangdongyanGood location, near the airport, there is a free bus to the airport. There is also a rental fee of 35USD from the city centre. The rooms are large, very clean, rich in breakfast, fruit, fresh milk, bacon, etc. The hotel staff is great and the quality is much better than the average American hotel.
JJanPenAn ok choice, but quite blunt. Price was ok if you book it last minute. Free car park but a bit far from the city centre, I would recommend it only with a car. Super noisy aircondition, like a steel factory, no difference in noise if you put it on 1, 2 or 3. Good thing they have paid waschmachines and tumble dryers. View to the car park, but at least it was open view.
GGuest UserWe came to celebrate my birthday and the room was clean, comfortable and customer service excellent. We had purchased the breakfast online option to our room and this saved us about $30 or so on the breakfast buffet, which had your normal things on it but it was fresh, hot and good service. Would definitely stay here again.
AAracely CruzI wasn't able to even check in due to being stuck in traffic on my way there from Texas. I am so upset. I was going to visit my husband who has been working out there for the past 3 months.
GGuest UserI chose this property due to the close proximity to the airport. The front desk staff was helpful and check-in was quick. The bed was clean and made-up nicely, I could definitely tell sheets and bedding had been washed. The bathroom was a little dingy and outdated but not overly dirty. My only negative was the carpet in the room. I kept my shoes on the whole time (unless I was sleeping) as there was a film on the carpet that made my feet feel dirty.
MMadi SThis motel is special: I’m a motel fan and it is the first motel I’ve ever see that goes with an elevator! it gave me both a surprise and delight that I could easily carry my luggage to the second floor. You can tell the owner knows how to do business: it’s TV is even larger than the one I lived in downtown NOLA—and most important of all, the TV is working very well. Before switching to this motel, I lived in Aloft New Orleans Downtown for 3 nights, with nightly rate above $200, yet I felt quite inconvenient because Aloft lacked this and that. So really, amenities can be new or old, but the sense of the owner to invest in essentials to provide convenience does not necessarily mean that these things have to be “fancy” (but useless). While I wouldn’t say the level of cleanliness was also super—it was ok (though the blankets could have been nicer)—but overall in the world of motels, this one makes me feel that the owner does intend to offer you some needed service.
RRunningmoonClean and nice room but not all rooms have microwave and fridge. Service could be better. No ice machine or beverage machine but they have ice water in the lobby. It was ok for one night.
VVanessa RatcliffWhen I entered the room, the undeniable smell of urine perfumed the air. I looked for the source and, while getting in bed, I found it. It was the MATTRESS!!!!! I ask to place us in another room, which was accompanied with an apology. In the other room, it smelled less urine-like. YET, I lifted the blanket and noticed 2 DIRTY, I MEAN DIRTY, SOCKS that had been there since who-knows-when!!!!! This meant that the sheets were not cleaned, either!!!! We had to leave!!! This was an emergency trip and we will NEVER go here again!!!
GGuest UserStaying here again!!! Love my room and location. Everything is in driving distance. Customer service is a plus. Breakfast isn’t much but it’s ok.
